Back inside the spacious, office-like room, Yu Chen was still talking to Zaki when someone had knocked on the door. The three men's heads shifted towards it and when the door opened, two gorgeous ladies entered. Davi was with Zaki's wife, the renowned and infamous author, Hinari. It seemed like the two were looking for their husbands and they finally found where they were hiding .
"Oh, they're here!" Zaki's eyes glowed as soon as he saw his wife, and then, he sidled towards Yu Chen again and began whispering in his ear.
"Listen little Chen, those two ladies were the real pros here. Believe me…"
"I know. They were the ones who tamed the monster and the beast after all."
"Haha. I'm sure, devil will be next and when that happens, you will know the power of love. You won't even find the right words to describe it," Chen Zaki was grinning widely. He was looking at Yu Chen with a meaningful gaze as he patted his shoulder before he finally walked towards his wife.
"Are you done with your confidential talk? Is it okay for us to join in now?" Hinari asked when Zaki chuckled softly.
"Actually, we were waiting for both of you, 'coz, our younger brother here really need some really serious and professional advice for his love life." Zaki said this so casually, causing the two ladies to blink as they both looked at Yu Chen who was already looking somewhere else.
"Eh? I thought, Luo Xiaolei was the one who needed our advice." Davi, who was now standing close beside her husband, was surprised.
"Haha, I absolutely understand why would you think that way." The playful guy laughed again as he looked sideways at Yu Chen when his wife, Hinari, spoke.
"So you're saying that Miss Luo doesn't like you?" she asked and a moment of silence went by before Yu Chen opened his mouth.
"She was… forced into this. She didn't become my fiancée because she wanted to." Yu Chen explained and everyone went silent again.
"So he wants to woo her," Zaki was the first to break the silence. "Since this man is such a noob, I am suggesting that a tip from how Sis-in-law would help. The tricks she used on Sei might work on her too." He explained but since everyone seemed to have started contemplating about what he just said, there was another moment of silent again, until Yu Chen talked.
"But my Xiaolei is not like bro Sei." Yu Chen said, rendering everyone's attention to be pointed at him again.
"In what sense?" Hinari asked.
"She's no wooden block and she's not a beginner."
". . . Oh I see… so she's the opposite of you, I presume."
"That's… right."
"And you're saying that she's not in love with you, right?"
Hinari's question made the air around Yu Chen turned thick and heavy. However, he still answered her with a nod. His expression was unreadable as always but his silence and the change in his ambience was enough for Hinari to realize something.
"I heard from hubby that she is currently living with you… are you two sleeping together in one room?"
"Yes."
"In one bed?"
"Yes."
". . . she didn't mind?!"
"There are two kids between us."
". . ."
The question and answer halted since the interviewer, Hinari, was rendered speechless until a certain someone burst into laughter.
"Ahem… sorry… don't mind me, please continue." Zaki said as soon as he managed to stop himself from laughing.
"Kids?" Chen Seiji was curious as he looked at Yu Chen.
"They're her adopted sons. They're twins." He answered and Hinari finally recovered her composure and continued the interview.
"I have another question. I hope you don't mind my question. I need to know these things so I could give you some proper advice."
"It's fine."
"So, you two haven't kissed yet?"
"She kissed me. Twice. But I think it was kind of forced as well."
"Forced? How could you say so?"
"The first happened because she was trying to calm my raging self. The second was because I asked her to teach me how to kiss without fainting."
". . . uhm… err… you mean, you fainted when she kissed you?!"
Yu Chen: ". . ."
Zaki: ". . ." Ha ha… this little… now I'm starting to remember those good old days when Sei was still a log. Although, it seemed like this little devil is worse than Sei at some aspect.
Hinari: ". . ." OMG! I'm speechless! This guy is a fetus!! An out of this world fetus!
While everyone was speechless, Davi tiptoed and whispered to her husband. "Darling, he really is just like you back then. So cute and innocent. But to think that he actually fainted… I never expect that." she chuckled softly while Chen Seiji simply smiled at her.
"Well, it's good to know that someone out there is worse than me." He replied and both of them chuckled quietly.
After some moment, Hinari cleared her throat and she finally spoke again. She told Yu Chen that she would like to meet Luo Xiaolei before she gave him any advice so they finally left the room and went back downstairs altogether.
Luo Xiaolei was enjoying her time eating delicious desserts with Little Shin when she saw Yu Chen approaching her. She smiled at him as he stood before her, but before Yu Chen could speak, Luo Xiaolei's attention was already focused on a certain someone behind him.
Yu Chen saw how the glitters and stars immediately popped into her eyes as soon as she saw Hinari and his brows immediately creased a little. But he still stepped aside for her to have a better view.
At that moment, Luo Xiaolei stood up and subconsciously clung on Yu Chen's arm as her gaze remained focused on the woman approaching them.
"Oh my gosh, she's so gorgeous in person!" Luo Xiaolei gasped in awe when Yu Chen suddenly moved his lips near her ear.
"You're much more gorgeous." He whispered and in a blink of an eye, he finally got her 100% attention back on him.
