"Young Master, are you okay?" The servant asked.
’Yes, I’m quite fine, I’m just a little caught off guard.’
"Yes I’ll get something to clean the mess and come back with your parents."

Jack did a squat and said "status."
Jack looked in the mirror and saw his face. He had medium length straight white hair. It went just past his ears.
Golden eyes that glowed in the dark room like flashlights. He had a sharp jawline, something he got from his father’s good looks.
Jack felt a presence behind him. He turned around and smiled.
"Jack, my boy! You’re alive!" Alaric said with a big smile on his face.
His father had started to cry as he placed his hands on his shoulders.
His boots were still dirty from being out in the woods.
After a few more moments, Alaric stopped crying and looked at him intensely.
"How do you feel, my boy?"
’I feel sluggish, and hungry. Why was I asleep for so long?’
"You were struck with a cursed knife." Lady Genevieve said. "My sweet, sweet boy. You’ve returned to us."
’Yes can we continue this discussion over a meal.’
"Yes, let’s go downstairs to eat lunch." Alaric said.
’Give me a moment and I’ll be down.’
Mother and Father left the room and by that time the servant had cleaned up the mess she made.
So I just need to do a 100 of each exercise and this will help me recover my body?
In his previous life, reading books like The Art of War, working security, and working out were all he knew how to do.
So doing some easy exercises should be a breeze.
Jack tried to do a push up, and managed to do 1, 2, 5, 10... but then his arms gave out and he collapsed on the ground.
This will be harder than I thought. My body is too weak.
Maybe after I eat some food I can start to get back into shape like before.
Alaric, Genevieve, Anabelle, Octavia, and Celeste all sat down at the table.
A sixth place setting was set at the table.
"Do we have a guest tonight, Mother?" Annabelle asked.
Creek. The doors to the dining hall opened.
Jack walked in and just stared at his sisters for a moment.
"Everyone thought..." Octavia trailed off.
’Everyone thought I was dead correct?’
"That’s not what I... it’s good to have you back Jack."
Annabelle’s mouth dropped as tears began to well up on her face. She dropped her book onto the ground.
"You missed my 16th birthday... my 18th birthday... my 22nd birthday..." Celeste carried on.
Annabelle rushed over and gave Jack a big hug.
He coughed slightly because she squished so hard.
’I missed you too sister.’
"You look just like your father. You’re so tall now too. You tower over everyone."
’Come I’m hungry and I need to eat.’
The smell of Honey bread, smoked meat, and fresh berries filled the dining hall.
As Jack started to eat he noticed everyone just staring at him.
Jack looked up and everyone went back to eating.
’Father do you know who stabbed me?’
Alaric was caught off guard, "no, we never found out who it was because the bodies were gone by the time the guards arrived."
Jack drank a cup of water. ’I see, so then we need to go to the holy site tonight then.’
"Jack, you just woke up, let’s wait until you recover your strength." Lady Genevieve said.
’No, everyone my age has had 10 years to figure out their path in life and learn how to control their magic or train themselves to be a martial artist.
I lost that chance. There is no more waiting. I need to know.’
Alaric caught off guard. "Very well, just enjoy your food and we’ll go later."
’Thank you father. After this meal I hope it won’t be too much trouble to have some time to myself before we head out to the holy site.’
"None, what so ever. Take your time. Your home."
After returning to his room for silence, Jack went back to try the exercises.
With his weak body he knew this would not be easy. And would take some time.
So he started with push ups because they would be the hardest.
Then moved to sit ups. And then to moved to squats.
After a couple of hours Jack only had one exercise left.
Sweat had covered his forehead, and his muscles had started to get sore.
This looks just like a game. I wonder when I’ll feel better and get used to my body.
After 45 minutes, Jack finished the pull ups.

This system, though, it looks like it’s trying to help me get stronger, but if I want to, it looks like I’ll have to interact with my citizens.

The holy site was thick with tension and silent as the Kaiser family made its way to the ceremony.
Everyone was wearing their fine robes and silks. Jack had a hood to cover his face. They sat in the back and waited patiently.
Whispers erupted through the hall, "why is the Kaiser family here?"
One after another Jack heard the results being announced.
"Serena has fire magic. Talent Grade D."
"Cain has light and wind magic. Talent Grade C."
"Violet Sunblade has Water, Fire, and Light magic. Talent Grade A."
Cassius clapped and cheered that his daughter had a triple affinity. "An extremely rare triple affinity. Exceptional for combat and leadership."
The guests burst into applause. Violet took a curtsy and smiled wide at her results.
Triple affinities were so rare that if families weren’t breeding for results, it happened in 1 in 1,000 mages had a triple affinity.
The priest looked up, "Lord Kaiser, I didn’t think you had another child who would be in attendance tonight."
"Ah yes, I don’t have another child. Jack was the last child I had." Alaric said.
"Then tell me dear friend, did you just come to watch my daughter’s ceremony?" Cassius said.
"No, actually my son Jack will be undergoing the ceremony tonight."
The hall went silent. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop on the floor.
"My dear friend, I love you. But, a sleeping boy can’t go through with the ceremony, let alone commune with a God."
"You would be correct friend. But, my boy Is right here."
Jack stood up and made his way down the pathway. When he reached the priest he took his hood off.
Everyone had their mouth open in shock.
"Wait, how Is he awake?" A lower nobles asked.
Jack looked over and locked eyes with a beautiful woman about his age. She had milky, white skin. Long curly blonde hair, and was wearing a lovely white dress.
’She is quite the looker.’

’Wait what! I have a fiancée! When did this happen.’
[Your father betrothed you when you were younger. I’m sure your untimely 10 year nap stopped him from telling you.]
’Priest, my name is Jack Kaiser. I would request the opportunity to commence with the ceremony.’
At this point, there wasn’t a single soul who hadn’t heard the tragic story of Jack Kaiser.
