’System, how do I activate my skills?’ Jack said in a panic.

Jack’s hand began to sweat as the dire wolves got closer.
’It’s now or never. No turning back now.’
"Grawrrrr." The wolf growled
Jack raised his spear above his shoulder, and threw it as hard as he could. He was shocked as a cry echoed through the room.
A shriek echoed the room as the spear went directly into the dire wolf’s mouth and forced it back into the wall. Without realizing it Jack had just hung his first dire wolf to the wall.
As he threw the spear the other wolf rushed to his blindside. Jack was startled by the wolf impaled on the spear and momentarily forgot about the wolf.
He fell onto the ground because the dire wolf forced him to the ground. It lunged forward his neck.
Jack instinctively reached out and grabbed his jaws. It was drooling excessively as it fought to kill Jack.
[Use Thundershock Jack.]
’Right, Jack, just think and it will happen.’
Jack thought about Thundershock and in the next second his hands began to light up a light purple color.

Jack threw what was left of the wolf off of him.
"That’s quite a powerful spell Jack." Adrain shouted.

[Yes, it just costs double the amount of mana. Thundershock is a strong spell in its own right. Having a Rank S Talent makes the damage output high.]
’Okay explain this to me, how do you calculate damage based off of a talent. If this was a video game that would not make any sense.’

Jack wiped the sweat from his head and looked at the dire wolf on the ground.
Its jaws were completely blown off.
’Damn. Its mouth is completely gone.’
Adrian stepped forward and landed Jack on the back. "Not bad, it shouldn’t be too hard for you to clear this floor."
’Adrian, is this some kind of test? I feel like a 12 year old would have a hard time.’
"Yes, young master, this is a test. But, it’s harder than the normal test."
"Jack, someone tried to kill you. If you don’t learn to fight back and think for yourself, you won’t live long enough to ask why.
You have amazing raw potential and power, but everyone your age would mop the floor with you." Adrain said as he patted Jack’s shoulders.
’Yes, I got it. Let’s get my spear out of the wall now.’
Adrian pulled the spear out of the wall and handed it to him.
"Here you go Jack. You know your father had this made just for you."
’He had this made specially for me?’
"Yes he was quite e cited about it."
Jack mentally used his analysis so Adrian didn’t suspect anything.

Jack decided to walk around a bit and look for more clues. After walking around for a bit.
After 30 minutes of walking around, Jack’s nerves were on edge.
The hair on Jack’s arm began to stand on his arm. Clearly being in the dungeon was taking a toll on him.
Jack had his feet steady and planted ready for a fight. He reached for the javelins Adrian gave him earlier.
Jack heard snarling. Jack sprinted to the corner and saw three dire wolves fighting over a piece of meat. Jack jumped backwards launching the first javelin into the air, piercing one of the dire wolves and pinning it to the ground.
Two more dire wolves rushed him and without hesitation Jack launched two more javelins.
The first pierced the dire wolf’s neck, causing it to fall down mid jump.
The second javelin stabbed the next dire wolf through the heart.
Jack slowly made his way and picked his javelins up from the dead dire wolves. He used his elbow to clean the blood from his weapons.
He took his spear and stabbed the pin wolf in the side of the neck.
This process continued for 3 hours until Jack had leveled his class to Rank 5.
