On planet number 1732, a vast plain, separated individually, thirty-five huge and peculiar interstellar warships were docked within a temporarily modified residence.
This was the ecological research institute established by the Council on this planet, whose internal facilities and layout basically copied the biological and genetic laboratories of the geometric civilization on planet number 1700.
During the decade-plus spent there, Harrov and others did not just improve their strength; more importantly, they learned and deciphered the ecological technology of the geometric civilization.
For instance, their atomic-level detectors and microorganism modification machines—after acquiring the samples, hundreds of alchemy masters tinkered for several years and successfully created replicas, which became their biggest reliance on independently completing this planetary transformation!
Seeing that the entire world’s ecosystem was tending toward balance, Vittorio understood that the time had come!
“Have we checked all our arrangements?” Vittorio, who was concerned about his ascension, dared not be careless.
“They’ve been tested already, there should be no problems!” Harrov said cautiously, yet with a hint of expectation.
In the last half a year, they had utilized the interstellar warships to deploy biomes across various regions of the entire planet, while also establishing three hundred and sixty magic power stations, evenly distributed across every part of the planet.
Vittorio nodded and immediately stood at the center of the Alchemy Array, using the magic network to communicate with the magic power stations scattered everywhere, and then he unfolded his own domain.
Massive magic power, with each magic power station as a center, surged rapidly outwards, aiming to encompass the entire world!
The power of the Council had long since changed from what it used to be. With the experience provided by the precedent of Lynn, Vittorio did not need to encroach step by step and could entirely bring the whole planet under control in one fell swoop, attempting to directly assault the medium divine power!
The process was long, however; to transform a planet weighing over forty trillion tons into a divine domain would take several years.
“It looks like it won’t be long before one of you becomes a god,” Ogg said enviously.
To be able to enjoy a medium plane’s divine domain immediately upon ascension was not treatment anyone could enjoy.
“It should be us, actually!” Lynn corrected, then asked with interest how the gods of the main world ascended.
Ogg hesitated for a moment, but still spoke the truth.
As one of the later risen gods, Ogg had limited knowledge about the development process of the main world and knew only that it was once just an ordinary plane in the Endless Void.
Then, a batch of seekers and controllers of fate began learning and controlling magic power, becoming the first gods, followed by battles among the gods.
However, since the divine roles had already been distributed, no new gods had emerged for nearly a thousand years.
Lynn nodded; it seemed the development of the main world was somewhat similar to the Eternal Star, involving mastering magic power, studying it, monopolizing beliefs, and battling among gods.
If it weren’t for the interference of extraterrestrials and the coveting of the main world, the Eternal Star might eventually have evolved to govern a constellation of gods and even expand outwards in glory.
“What kind of god is he preparing to become? Fire, calamity, sky, order, necromancy?” Ogg asked curiously.
Thunder and space were probably unlikely; for a newly born god to control such powerful rules could easily lead to backlash.
“It might be physics!” Lynn briefly said. He had stuffed a lot of physical knowledge into that divine character he was creating; whether or not it could condense into this divine role was an unknown.
Ogg, however, was frowning, puzzling over what exactly this ‘physics’ was.
“Physics, it means mastering the inherent laws of things!” Lynn explained.
“That sounds a bit like a knowledge deity,” Ogg remarked, raising an eyebrow, also finding it strange that such an important divine role was given away and the other party could be so assured about it.
Was he not worried that this new god would become powerful and compete with him for believers?
“We don’t have believers, nor do we need them!” Lynn saw Ogg’s confusion and stated bluntly.
“No believers, and no sufficient belief; how could you possibly become gods?” Ogg’s mind became somewhat muddled, speaking incredulously in questioning.
“Who says there’s not a second way to become a god?” Lynn said with a smile. “According to the great cosmos, we are considered a type of high-dimensional beings!”
Ogg was well aware of the considerable differences between different worlds, but it still took him ten minutes to absorb this information.
Because the information contained herein was too vast; the Wizard Council ruled over an immensely vast starry domain and possessed an alternative method of becoming gods. If given enough time, he could hardly imagine how many gods could emerge from among these wizards.
However, time was the most crucial factor; if the main world managed to break through the black hole blockade first, then even the strongest potential would be useless.
“You must have applied some sort of time-space technique to the exterior of this plane, right?” Ogg asked solemnly.
“Correct, ten seconds here now equate to one second of the great universe!” Lynn casually replied, since he had brought Ogg into confidence, this intelligence couldn’t possibly be kept secret.
The tenfold difference in flow rate somewhat astonished Ogg; if he considered the sevenfold difference in flow rate between the great universe and the main world…
That would be seventy times…
Ogg suddenly understood why every piece of information they received about these wizards never matched up with the facts; such a difference in the rate of time flow could lead to anything happening.
Meanwhile, Lynn was sensing how Vittorio’s ascension was progressing, seeing that the other did not need his help, he continued constructing divine arts in his mind by himself.
A few years, though lengthy for mortals, was merely a blink for gods. Lynn, momentarily having nothing else to do, occupied his time with this, needing only to keep an eye on the God of Life and Creation and make sure he didn’t wander off or disturb Harrov and others in their research.
Ogg, seeing that Lynn had no intention of moving, didn’t dare to act on his own and couldn’t help but look up to the sky; Vittorio’s divine domain had already expanded to this place.
Ogg, being a high-dimensional being himself, naturally could see the fragmented Vittorio gradually being pieced together; this process would take about eight years approximately.
How enviable… Ogg mused inwardly. If it were in the main world, whether it was the ascension of gods or the condensation of divine roles, it would require full protection; otherwise, a more powerful god could steal the divine role and obliterate the divine soul.
