I've never experienced such a calming sleep before. The cold breeze from the window made me curl up to the warm body beside me. Big arms wrapped around my waist and I hummed in contentment. I inhaled the scent, soothing..
Wait. Arms on my waist?!
I snapped my eyes open and gasped to see the person beside me. I blushed to see the half-naked man beside me. My head is slightly in pain, and I'm totally lost as to what just happened.
What happened last night- Wait did I just permit Troy to sleep beside me?
Oh no. I felt drunk like night and Troy came in bothered from his unanswered phone calls and I slipped off my freaking shit to get my bra off and all the other heck things happened. I can't believe I did this.
On the other hand, Troy remained asleep beside me. He looks rather delighted and thankful right now. He really got me there huh? You stubborn Alpha! Nevertheless, I admit that he's looking gorgeous this morning. I never noticed how pouty his lips are and how long lashes he had. He always looks so happy when he's with me, I never thought of his problems. Maybe it's because it's hidden deep inside him.
I moved away and searched for my phone. My mind was a little cloudy last night and I forgot to text my best friend, Shane. I promised to have a talk with her last night but then I felt drugged.
I gasped to see forty three messages and fifty calls. Most of them are from Shane and others are from Troy and an unknown number. I opened the newest one's and it's from Troy and Shane
SHANE: Girl, did you just ignore me all night? 4:30 AM
TROY: Don't eat the chocolates! I'm outside your door.. 11:02 PM
TROY: Answer or I'll break the door. 11:00 PM
TROY: Damn it!
What the hell? All of these texts and calls just from last night? What is in the chocolates anyway? I remembered the initials, Mrs.W. If it's Troy's mother, this is epic! This is such a shameful night, I don't know if I can face him! I ran near the window to make a phone call for Shane but then someone spoke behind me,
"Who is that?" He asked. I turned around to see eyes returned to normal blue orbs. He moved closer and leaned at the other side of the window and stared directly at me.
"Friend of mine." I shrugged.
"How are you feeling?" He said and smirked, I knew exactly where this conversation was going.
"I'm good." I replied.
:That's nice to hear from the person who didn't answer calls because of chocolates .Undresses in front of a man who just barged into her room and permitted him to sleep soundly next to her." He smirked.
"Okay. For all your information, Sir Troy I'm not in my usual self last night." I reasoned out.
"Fine. Just promise me this won't happen again especially if I'm not around. "He said and jumped back to bed, "Don't let anyone take advantage of you." He reminded me.
"Okay. Go back to your room and stop harassing my sheets." I said and decided to give a call for Shane later, I put down my phone and snatched my blanket from the childish half naked man.
"No." he said and hugged one of my pillows.
"Put a t-shirt on can you? Someone might get the wrong idea!" I said and snatched the pillow away from him.
"Lilly and Beth just came to check on us a while ago, there's nothing to be as-"
I threw a pillow right to his face! What if Auntie is mad at me right now? What have I done? Why is he shirtless anyway?!
"Put on a shirt!" I hissed and spank him another pillow and he grinned at me.
"Put on a bra, lady." He teased and I blushed to see how visible my perky nipples are from my thin shirt. This time I kicked him and threw punches on him but it only made him even happier.
"Stop making me realize how clumsy I am and you go out!" I snapped and he raised his both hands before going out. He left my room shirtless! What a crazy Alpha!
When he stomped out of the room there was a complete silence and I sigh. I took a bath to cleanse myself and reduce the risk of having a high blood pressure because of Troy's wickedness. After doing some of my morning routines, I look for something good to wear.
My phone beamed and I searched for it, a text from Shane.
SHANE: I'm taking the airplane to get there, I have long travels. I got your location from your Aunt. Pick me up around 12 am Okay? See ya! 8:45 am
I thought she'll spend her vacation to L.A with her relatives. I glanced at the clock and it's 10 am. How long did I sleep? I have to get going!
I put on some denim pants and a yellow crop top as quickly as possible. I brushed my hair and put on some make-up. She is the type of person who is really sensitive with how you take care of yourself. I'm not wearing excessive make-up, just light ones. She always reminded me that I should take a good care of my face to attract some hot guys and stuff.
I put my wallet and phone inside my bag and walked out of my room, locked. That evil Troy might think of something creepy to make fun of me again. I told my auntie that I will fetch Shane and what she saw this morning is just a misunderstanding. I haven't seen Grandma Candice since this morning, maybe she came back to her house to feed her dog.
I tried to avoid meeting Troy but it seems like he's a stalker and he knew exactly where I am. He was talking with Matthew about something and I tried to escape his gaze but I failed.
"Where are you going?" he asked and grabbed my hand.
"To a friend of mine." I shrugged.
"I'll go with you, wait." He said and pulled out his car keys from his pocket.
"Woah, What did you say? I'm still mad at you remember? You stay here and let me do my business." I hissed and he raised a brow, damn it.
"Your business is my business. You're not going anywhere you want without my consent because your aunt and Grandma told me to take care of you. Now, if you think I'll let you go anywhere you want alone you're wrong." He said, "and, I'm sorry about last night."
"Okay. Just please trust me that I can do this, okay? I can handle things alone." I said and turned around. I feel so annoyed for no reason.
"Audrey, one last thing and I won't stop you." He said and I turned to see his grinning face. "How are you going to get there?"
I heard Matthew chuckled, I ignored him. "Well, I'll take a taxi-"
"There's no taxi here." He replied.
"I'll borrow my Aunt's car-"
"Madam Candice has the car, she went home." He said.
"I'll walk to the nearest bus station!" I exclaimed.
"You know it's kilometers away from the forest, good luck." He teased.
"Ugh!" I groaned and I'm ready to punch him when his keys showed in front of me.
"Stop being such an angry bird, and I'll drive you." He said but I don't think all he offered his help.
"Where?" he asked. I didn't respond. "I said where Audrey, stop being such a stubborn mate." He grinned. Despite throwing tantrums at him he can still smile at me? I wonder if someone ever stayed when they saw my bad side. Most of them never talk to me again but he’s different. He can handle me more than anyone. I tried to calm down and turned to him.
"To the airport." I almost whispered.
"Good." He said and hugged me. He nuzzled my neck before ordering Matthew to take care of everything while he's gone.
"Let's go."
