While I take another shower Bishop cooks breakfast for us. I cannot believe he did all that this morning. What in the hell got into him this morning? I wash my body again and rewrap my hair. I slip back into my robe to join Bishop and our guest Leigh for breakfast.
“Hey Sexy,” I say as I sit down for breakfast.
“Hey slut.” Bishop says.
“Umm what was all that about this morning,” I ask.
“I wanted to return the favor that is all,” Bishop says.
“Oh, I see. I thought you might be mad at me or something,” I say to him.
“No, it is not that. I just know you require a lot and I wanted to give you a little something extra,” he says.
“Well, his miniature was nothing like having you. What turned me on was the way you were talking to me,” I say.
“I know. And now I have this to bring up the next time I am pounding you,” he says and smiles as he finishes his breakfast.
“Did you enjoy it?” I ask.
“Watching you? Hell yes,” he says.
“No. Being with another woman. Did you enjoy that?” I ask.
“It was fun, but you are all I need. If you ever want to do it again then yes we can and if you do not then that is fine too. I love you and your urges,” he says.
“Good. I was thinking we can talk to the owner about buying this house for real. I want to move here,” I tell him.
“Good, I will give her a call and invite her over. Do not fuck her,” he says with a laugh as he leaves the room.
Bishop called Daisy the owner of the house and arranged for her to come talk to us about buying it. I was certain I wanted to relocate to New Orleans. I just needed to speak with the kids about it and see how they felt.
If they wanted to finish out the school year that could be arranged. They did not have much left and they would all be adults soon. We had talked about letting them have that house and they could visit us as they wanted.
Daisy arrived at the house just after six. Bishop grilled the chicken, made red beans and rice, and potato salad for her. He went to the store and bought two bottles of wine.
“Are you planning to seduce her or buy a house from her,” I asked.
“Maybe both,” he said.
Leigh stayed helping me throughout the day. We talked about hiring her to be my personal secretary since the one back home was not willing to relocate. I felt Leigh would be loyal and she was nice to look at. I decided to make Leigh the offer after dinner with Daisy. First the house and then we hire Leigh.
Daisy arrived just after six. She was not a vamp or wolf, but she knew who we were. She knew we were royalty, and she was willing to work with us in any way to keep us happy.
Bishop was great with people. He kept Daisy laughing the entire night. She was an older lady and a little frumpy. She was kind and had the kindest eyes I had ever seen on a human before.
“Daisy we are willing to buy the house plus compensate you for a years’ worth of rental income,” Bishop says.
I thought Daisy would fall out of her chair. “You know I have an offer on the house,” she says.
“I know and that is why mine is so generous. You are going to turn them down and I am going to write you a check tonight,” Bishop says.
Daisy took a sip of her wine. Even if she wanted to say no, even if wasn’t about the money she knew she could never say no to Bishop Crown or the queen. They would run her out of New Orleans. Not because we wanted it but because of who we are. We cannot be told no, and she knew it.
Daisy shook her head in agreement. Bishop fixed her a plate and poured her another glass of wine. “My wife’s personal assistant baked some bread. I will wrap you up a piece and write you a check,” Bishop says.
Bishop left the room to write her a check. “You do not have to sell to us if you do not want to. I will say I changed my mind,” I tell her.
“No, I want you to have the house. I do. I just want someone to have this place that will love it. I grew up in this house. This house has survived hurricanes and floods. Promise me you will take care of it,” Daisy says.
“We will. I promise,” I tell her.
Bishop returns with Daisy a check and a pie to go. “It was wonderful doing business with you Daisy,” he says.
She takes the check and the pie and leaves as quickly as she downs the wine she is holding. “Good luck to both of you,” she says.
