He never returned to bed that night. I was so sore there was no way I could have tolerated having sex with him again. Who am I kidding? I would let him have me any time and any way he wanted. He turns me into a slut every time I get near him.
I have to get ready for the meeting so no time to be thinking about my sexy vampire prince right now. If we miss this meeting because I am a slut I do not think it will go over well.
I climb out of the bed. I sit here on the side of the bed. I have no idea what to wear. Not only will I be seeing my mother the queen but I will see the king and countess of the vampires. No pressure what so ever.
Bishop comes into the room with a cup of tea. “How did you sleep my love?” he asks.
“I would have slept better if you would have snuggles me,” I say.
“You know I am a creature of the night. I had to go feed my love,” he says.
“Right of course,” I respond.
He sits beside me on the bed. “ I will snuggle with you tonight. I promise,” he says.
“You could snuggle me now and we could lay in the bed all day,” I suggest.
“You realize we have a meeting and eventually we both have to go back to work,” he says.
“I know,” I respond.
He kisses me on the forehead and leaves me to get ready.
I sort through my closet. I have no idea what to wear to see the queen.
There is a knock. I go to open my bedroom door. It is obviously not my husbamd.
“Mrs. Crown. I have your dress ready,” the voice says.
I open the door to this huge dress waiting for me. At least I do not have to worry about what to wear.
The young lady brings in my dress. She hangs it next to my closet. “The hairdresser will be here in a few minutes and then I will help you dress.” She says.
“Okay thank you,” I say.
This is another thing my sweet husband could have mentioned but he left out. It would have been one less worry for me. I hope he heard that thought.
The hairdresser was prompt. She swept my long hair into an updo and I applied my makeup when she was finished. The young lady came back and helped me get dressed. After two hours of feeling like someones doll I was ready. I came down the stairs feeling like a queen.
When I got to the bottom of the stairs there were a lot of people in my house. Vampires, werewolves, shape shifters and maybe a fairy. I was not informed the meeting was here.
My sweet husband had been busy with the caterers all day and he had our little home looking fabulous. We looked like royalty.
The horns sounded just as I reached the bottom step. There she was. She was entering the front door. My mother the queen. I bowed down along with every one else. Behind her was the King and Countess.
My husband came to the staircase and took my arm, “My lady,” he says.
He led me to the library where we would meet with everyone. All the heads of the tribes were there. I felt like all eyes were on me. As I stood there with the tribes future in my hands and thought to myself I wish I could get out of this room.
Bishop squeezed my hand. He heard me thinking I would rather be in bed with him than doing this. He knew he was so important to me and I was only enduring this for him. If it were not for him I would have left the tribal affairs behind me in the past where I believed they belonged. Not now. Now I have a husband to make happy.
The leader talked about things I was unaware of. I knew I would have to learn all of this. I am sure it would be me and Bishop handling the affairs not just me. I am sure I would have plenty of time to learn before my mother handed it over to me.
The queen finally after hours called the business of me, her daughter Miya.
“As you know my daughter has come into her wolf and chosen to mate with a vampire. Now in order to keep a royal bloodline between both parties we need a solution. My son Waylen said there are two options a witch to impregnate her. With that option the baby could be either vampire or werewolf. The other option is she can become a hybrid and give birth to a hybrid child. This way both royal bloodlines carry on. I want to your thoughts,” Queen Rowan says.
The room feels silent for a moment then they started talking amongst themselves. I was not sure if they would agree or if everyone would flip out on me.
Bishop squeezed my hand. “Every thing will be fine, my love,” he says.
My mother called Bishop over to her and whispered something to him. It seemed like they were talking forever. He nods and she smiles. He walks over to me takes my hand and leads me out of the room.
“There are some thing I need to explain to you,” he says.
I nod as he leads me our garden. We walk until we are far away from every one. “I honestly did not think you would agree to this,” he says.
“I would do anything for you,” I respond.
“Okay. Your mother the queen wants to explain to you the process okay,” he says.
“I am ready. Go ahead. Explain it to me.” I answer.
“First I did not know until tonight while I was waiting on you to come down, but they would like for us both to become hybrids. The process can be dangerous. I have thought a lot about it and I want us to do this together. We would be the first hybrid king and queen. Secondly you would need to get pregnant rather quickly if you want to have a child. The queen seems to think the window for having a child will be small. You may only be able to get pregnant once. Then again it could be possible we could have as many as you want. It is very uncertain territory,” he says.
“I thought you did not want a child with me,” I ask.
“I do. I really do. I just was not sure until tonight and I did not want to feel rushed into it. I love you and I would give you as many children as you want,” he says.
He kisses me and pulls me into him. “We can be very happy little wolf,” he says.
As I stood there snuggled in his arms I hear my name. “Miya,” I turn to see my mother. I run to her. “Mom,” I cry as I utter the word.
“I have missed you,” she says.
She reaches for Bishop, “I am so happy you two found each other,” she says.
She smiles at us for what seems like forever. “Are you both sure about this,” she asks?
We nod. “Yes my queen,” Bishop answers.
“Bishop will begin his process in the morning. You will be injected with werewolf venom. Maggie will stay with you while you become a hybrid. It is not going to be easy for you. After he becomes a hybrid you need to start trying to get pregnant immediately,” she says.
“Wait, I don’t need to be a hybrid when I become pregnant,” I ask.
“As soon as you conceive we will start the vampire transformation,” she says. “It wont be pleasant for either of you.”
