Damn, this is a real assassin!
One strike, one kill.
So fierce it’s chilling, Duncan had never encountered such a formidable opponent before.
He turned his horse around, controlling it with ease, instantly aiming at that Divine Concealment Assassin. His bow was drawn like a full moon, the arrow shot through the air, locking onto the target with a cross-shaped focus.
The assassin wore no armor.
Otherwise, he couldn’t have moved with such agility.
— Resting Horse Arrow!
The Divine Concealment Assassin tilted his head slightly, but his leap to seize the horse was already a lost cause. The arrow pierced directly through his throat, and with a bang, the corpse fell not far from the Sarmatian rider.
Both sides were taken aback by this turn of events.
Duncan’s group was shocked by the enemy’s prowess, while the Heretic Judges were astonished by Duncan’s archery.
"Chase those two witches!"
The Hermitage’s Holy Hall Guards drew their swords and charged, crossing swords with the mercenary riders. The opponent deftly knocked aside the mercenary’s long knife, using a longsword to parry, and during the clash, disarmed his opponent. Sparks flew, and with both hands gripping the longsword, he swung it down with a swish and beheaded the mercenary rider on the spot.
Blood gushed like a fountain!
This was Duncan’s first time seeing someone use a longsword for beheading; even the barbarian berserkers needed a two-handed greatsword or two-handed war axe to execute a decapitation.
This guy had either exceptional combat skills or superhuman physical strength.
The Hermitage’s Holy Hall had beheaded the mercenary rider with a sword, charging towards the retired Imperial Forbidden Guard knight. In an instant, an arm flew into the air, and the knight’s hand with the sword was cut off. He tried to draw a one-handed hammer with his solitary left hand but lost balance and fell from his horse, severely injured.
Before he could get up and steady himself, a Heretic Judge had already speared him to death on the spot with a short spear.
The battle suddenly turned unfavorable for Duncan and his team.

Duncan shot and killed the witch hunter holding a short crossbow, immediately rushing forward to stop them from pursuing the two witches.
Close combat with the enemy was extremely disadvantageous for him.
The Hermitage’s Holy Hall was like butchering chickens, slashing down two people, slaughtering the Forbidden Guard knight like cutting down a common soldier. If Duncan faced him, it would probably be just a few moves to decide life and death. If not for his riding skill acquired from the Eagle Shooter, being the best rider present, he would have been charged down in the first wave.

Warhorses neighed mournfully.
Duncan spared no effort to block the enemy, shooting and killing the Hermitage’s Holy Hall’s warhorse, but before he could nock another arrow, his own horse cried out in agony.
A javelin was thrown at an angle of sixty degrees!
The Heretic Judge had incredibly wounded and killed his horse with a short javelin.
Could this guy have been part of the Imperial legion before?
Being able to throw a javelin accurately on horseback, only the Empire’s elite units could manage that, given that ever since ancient Rome, the Empire’s heavy infantry had been trained in javelin throwing.
Duncan fell from his horse with a roll, groaned, and quickly got back on his feet.
He threw a Frankish throwing axe backhand!
Blood splattered; the Heretic Judge twisted to dodge, not expecting Duncan to aim for the horse’s head. These enemies were too strong; without knocking him off the horse, if Duncan failed to kill him outright, he would find himself being chased by cavalry.
A bowman being pursued by cavalry would mean a total defeat.
Severus disengaged from the enemy and charged over, dismounted without a word, picked up a shield and hammer, and said solemnly, "Get on the horse!"
Duncan jumped onto the horse without a word, drew his bow and nocked an arrow, the bow like a full moon, the arrow hitting the leg of the Hermitage’s Holy Hall, causing a stumble and slowing him down.
This guy was fully armored and had incredible physical abilities.
Severus roared, advancing with an oak shield against the Heretic Judge. He had given his horse to Duncan, almost certain death if caught in an encirclement!
But Duncan was the only sharpshooter capable of stopping these Heretic Judges.
Duncan was going all out.
