The Arian Sect took root in the Barbarian Race territories, spreading its beliefs among them, constantly engaging in conflicts with the priests of polytheism and various beings with supernatural powers. Yet, they gradually encroached on the faith landscape of polytheism.
The Western Goths and Franks, along with three branch tribes, even Saxons, Alamanni, Celts, and others, have missionaries from the Arian Sect.
They are being hunted down by factions from both churches.
Duncan once again nocked an arrow, aiming at the Hermitage Holy Hall ahead. Only by solving this obstacle first can he seize the opportunity to take Triss and Severus and break out. As long as they can momentarily evade the pursuers and escape into the dense mountain forests, with Duncan’s God-like perspective, there’s still a chance to flee successfully.
One arrow, two arrows, three arrows.
Duncan’s third arrow finally hit the chest of the Hermitage Holy Hall, but the opponent, clad in armor, only grunted softly and charged forward swiftly.

Two half-cut fingers dropped to the ground, and the Hermitage Holy Hall swung their sword upwards, swiftly changing tactics, and with a reverse sideways slash, directly cut off the druid’s ring finger and little finger.
He was then head-struck by Severus’ shield, his head only shook for a moment, not even showing a dazed mark.
The druid, still firmly grasping the one-handed hammer with three remaining fingers, intertwined with Severus during the exchange, making it difficult for Duncan to accurately lock onto his target. Without hesitation, Duncan drew his longsword and charged directly from the right side, ambushing the enemy.
He overestimated the druid’s close combat abilities; Severus could only withstand two or three more moves from the Hermitage Holy Hall.

The Hermitage Holy Hall grasped the sword with both hands to parry Duncan’s attack, this forceful blow making both of them feel numb in their palms. Duncan’s longsword chipped directly, while the enemy’s longsword was only slightly damaged.
He had activated the adrenaline burst, yet his physical quality still could not match that of this enemy.
At this moment, Severus swung the one-handed hammer and slammed it against the enemy’s chin, blood splattering as even the enemy’s skull trembled.
If it weren’t for his previously broken fingers, this heavy strike would have probably decided the match.
Duncan swung his sword at the enemy’s neck, while Severus swung his shield heavily at the enemy’s head.
This was truly the case of never being able to handle too many attackers!
The Hermitage Holy Hall reversed his sword to stab, the blade piercing through Severus’ abdomen. Severus slightly turned his body, using his shoulder to brace Duncan’s slash. The longsword cut down, sparks flew, though blood was spilling, most of the damage was blocked by the armor.
This guy under the robe is covered in armor, his physical condition is fundamentally not like a mortal, tougher than supernatural monsters.
In the distance, more enemies were approaching.
If the witch’s magic can’t be invoked soon, they’ll likely all meet their end here.
"Aren’t you the witch with the skull mark? Where is your magic?!"
Duncan slashed directly, forcing back the Hermitage Holy Hall before him. With Severus dead, he’d have no chance to turn the tables.
Even attempting escape might prove impossible.
A fierce wind rose from the flat ground, sand and stones swirling instantaneously.

Crow Queen Triss’ mark flashed, and then transformed.

A tangible supernatural force descended upon reality, amidst the stirring wind, Witch Triss floated directly a few meters above the ground, while Anya beside her widened her eyes in shock.
She had evidently never seen other witches exhibiting such terrifying power.
You can actually fly!
Triss’ long hair danced wildly in the swirling sand, her eyes turned silver like the glowing moon, her form transformed, enchanting and sinisterly beautiful, no longer human-like, more resembling the banshees of ancient Greek legends.
She gently raised her hand, grasping in Duncan’s direction.
The sound of bone breaking rang, the Hermitage Holy Hall showed a terrified expression, crying out in misery: "Witch Triss!"
All along they had been tracking Anya, completely failing to recognize Crow Queen Triss.
They thought it was some other member of the witches’ gathering.
On the Judgement Court’s list, only a rare few marked by sainthood could handle this High Priest from the old age.
The Hermitage Holy Hall’s limbs collapsed, the armor upon him seeming nonexistent, his whole body was squeezed into a grotesque mass, with gushing blood painting the ground crimson.
Not far off, the approaching Arian Sect clergy were also caught in the swirling sandstorm. Those Hermitage monks knelt down in prayer, holding pieces of a wooden cross. In the projected image, a faint distinct white glow appeared but was quickly crushed by the tangible magic power radiating from Crow Queen Triss.
The chest of the Hermitage monk collapsed as if struck by a great force, blood spouted, leaving him barely hanging onto the last gulp of breath lying on the ground.
Within the storm, strange splendor flashed by.
The arms of the Arian Sect Holy Hall Warrior suddenly rose into the air, followed by his feet being severed out of thin air, blood spraying meters away.
A flock of crows appeared out of nowhere.
They resembled black smoke, black clouds, assaulting those Frank Holy Knights, pecking their eyes blind in an instant with terrifying wails, and all the enemies fell from their horses. The crows swept the sky, turned into black smoke and dispersed, Triss’ figure seeming to flash, appearing and waving to slice the Witch Hunter instructor in half, next second severed limbs scattered everywhere.
