Emma and Dax went to a silent and dark place by the back and kissed.
I gasped in shock, looking at Eion for confirmation, to see if he saw the same but I didn’t have to ask him when I saw his widened eyes, just like mine, confirming it.
Ready to attack them, I was about to stop them but I stumbled. Good thing that Eion caught me before I even had the chance to land on the ground. Our faces were inches apart, his breath fanning my face. He looked at me, looked at my lips, and gulped. We didn’t talk, and he didn’t even break away from me.
But our moment was interrupted when I felt myself vomiting. I leaned into him, and wanted to go where the restroom is but it was too late.
I vomited into his shirt.
I didn't remember what happened after that but the next thing I know, I was back at Eion's car with his jacket on, with him wearing a different shirt now. He grabbed a bottle of water in the back of his car and gave it to me. “Drink this.”
"What? What happened?" I croaked out, my voice is raspy. I could feel my dry throat and chapped lips so I did as he told and finished the whole bottle of water. I sighed in relief, feeling like I freshen up for a little bit.
"You vomited on my shirt, so our "following Emma and Dax's date" got halted now." He spoke up. "Because of you."
I looked at him, "Why are you blaming me?" Gosh, I feel my head aching.
"Is it my fault drinking those drinks the stranger gave? No.” He said, sarcasm lacing in his voice. “It was really obvious that there was something in that drink, but who was the stupid one who drank it all" He huffed. Taking a deep breath, he looked at me, “Let's get you home."
Taking in what he said, I was quiet, quite guilty. He's right. It is my fault. I don't have the right to get angry with him. I just slept as he drove away. Way to go, Snow.
"Hey, wake up." When I opened my eyes, Eion's face came into view. "We're in front of your house already."
I looked around and saw my house. I looked back at him.
"You look good with a white shirt." That was the first thing that came into my mind. “What?” He stopped at that, blinking at me. He may have not expected me to say that. I could see his cheeks reddening now and I reached out to it, "You're blushing."
He looked away, avoiding my eyes, "I'm not."
"Yes, you are." I hummed.
"Why did you even invite me today? You just want to hang out with me right?” I said without thinking. Every word I saw just came out of me.
He shook his head, "You're drunk, Snow."
Oooh, drunk? Oh yes, "I am? If I am...will I remember what happened today?" I asked.
"I wonder too.." He caressed my cheek. "If only I knew you would be like this when you're drunk..." He trailed off. He leaned in and kissed my forehead.
"Where are you kissing? Jerk." I was laughing., pushing him away, "You should kiss the lips, stupid," I said, pouting.
He stared at me. "No. I shouldn’t."
"Awe, why is that?" I asked.
He replied. He then put his hands on his hair in frustration, breathing hard. "Gosh, you're too adorable. Now go before I do something."
I giggled, leaning on him. “What do you mean? I don’t understand, Eion.”
"This is torture, Snow." He said. "Let's go and hang out next time, how about that?"
I nodded, "Sure!"
"Now leave before I lose all my senses. I hope you won’t remember this night."
"Yes sir!" I said, getting out of the car.
I didn't have to explain everything to mom when I woke up since she said that Eion explained what happened last night to mom. I didn't know what Eion said to her that made her giggle and message Aunt Maggie for hours now.
But I'm a bit nervous as I can't remember what happened last night. I didn't do anything stupid..did I?"
Since it's Monday, sadly I have to go to work. I feel groggy and not in the mood since I just got drunk last night. That was the last thing I remember, and some clips about drinking water? Gosh. Stupid me, I really shouldn’t have drank that drink from a stranger. Driving with my motorbike, I made my way towards the shop.
I arrived a bit later than usual. Emma was still there, but I avoided her, kinda guilty for following her yesterday with Eion...I ruffled my hair in distress, wincing as I felt a sharp stabbing pain in my head. Is this what they call..hangover?
"How's your day, Snow?" Emma asked, approaching me. “Hangover?”
"Yes..." I trailed off but wrinkled my eyebrows at her. Wait a minute...I didn't tell Emma about last night. "How did you..know that I got a hangover?"
She giggled at me, "You and Eion spied on us yesterday right?" I looked at her with wide eyes, not able to reply to her. Damn...so we were caught then?
"How did we know? Easy, you two were not a good spy. We could hear your bickering from a mile away." Emma continued, now chuckling at me. “Next time, you should have done better than that.”
I gave her a goofy smile, "Sorry about that...Did we interrupt your date?"
"No, it's fine. It's not like we didn't have any privacy and all." She said sarcastically.
Just then, the bell at the entrance jingled, making our heads turn to smile at the customer but it was just Eion.
He had his usual emotionless face, holding a helmet and went to the counter but I can't help but notice his plain white shirt. He really looks good with white...
"You ride your motorbike right?" He asked me, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Uhmm...I did? Why?" Is he going to embarrass me about last night with it? Gosh, I really want to ask him what happened.
"Great. Teach me how to drive it." He said.
"What? Why? Teach you what?" I was not sure if I heard him right. What is he up to now?
"To drive, stupid. Is it a yes or a yes?"
"No?" I answered unsurely. I glanced at Emma, "It's going to be my shift soon, and I should be working."
"Oh is that it? I'm the owner," said Eion before facing Emma, "Emma, could you take Snow's shift for now?"
Emma nudged me in the arm and smirked, "Sure."
Eion nodded at her, “Good,” he then looked at me, "Let's go."
I just followed him outside, still dumbfounded.
When we were outside, he stopped and handed me a paper bag. "Here…”
I looked at it, “What is that?”
“For your hangover, stupid" Oh, opening it, It was medicine. He also handed me a water bottle and I drank from it. I mumbled a silent thank you to him.
Mustering up the courage, I asked him, "Did I do something weird last night?"
That made him smirk a bit, "You don't remember?"
