"What? You… you told him that you are a sapphist?" Clara could not wield her laughter as Sanaya explained everything. She was laughing, she kept laughing constantly. It was super funny.
"What else could I say? I could not think of any other good excuse so I came up with this one but who knew he would… thank god I have managed to make him believe me."
"Well, we can not tell if he really believed you. But you are beautiful, hot, and sexy. It wouldn't be unbelievable if you were really a… I would happily want to be your girlfriend.", throwing a pillow at Clara Sanaya announced, "I'll throw you in the lake of moon pavilion!"
But Clara was laughing more when Sanaya sat on the bed with a poker face. Sanaya was thinking of him. She did not want to live on false hope, before also he acted as if he believed her but later he just proved her wrong. "I need to avoid him if I meet him again. He is such a danger, anyway."
"Leave all his thoughts. Tomorrow is your first day at work. Take rest and be calm." She told herself.

Sanaya didn't get in the elevator again. She had been standing there for almost 30 minutes. She couldn't make up her mind whether to get in the elevator or not. Once she stepped in she saw all the employees get in and she stepped out. That's what she had been doing for the past thirty minutes.
And she was not sure if she would meet him somewhere. Yesterday he showed up out of nowhere, she didn't want the same to happen today too. She wanted to focus on her work. And she didn't want to meet him. Leaving was the best choice for her in that case but why would she? And there was nothing to ... Confused and nervous, Sanaya was still thinking of it.
Getting a call she looked at the screen of her cell phone. She picked it up, "Hello…" she answered.
"What are you thinking of? Don't even think of leaving, girl.", As Clara said, Sanaya looked around saying, "Huh? How did you know I am…"
"If you would not be my best friend then I could say that somehow I felt that you might be thinking about it till now. But it's not the case you know…", hearing her Sanaya pouted, "You know me, I am just thinking about what he that day. What if…"
"Leave what if and think about your work only. It's your first day there, why do you need to think of it? And he's kind of busy I guess, he might not come to irritate you."
"Yeah but… he uses tricks you know. How did he almost make me…", thinking of it Sanaya had goosebumps. He was surely tricky, very clever. For sure, a businessman possibly would not be less tricky.
"Are you afraid that he'll eat you up today? Omg, didn't you say that he can't turn you on?", Clara was laughing saying so. They had talked about it this morning and Sanaya clearly said she didn't even feel anything, he was not able to turn her on, and blah blah but the truth, Clara could see Sanaya's lies.
"Who's afraid? I am not afraid. I am going to work now. Bye.'' Hanging up Sanaya took a deep breath. She was about to get in the elevator but seeing someone she stepped back. Nicolas himself was standing in front of her.
Nobody was allowed to get in the same elevator he would be in. When other employees were standing there Sanaya was looking at her phone screen to pretend that she couldn't see him.
"Get in.", Said Nick. Everybody there looked at Nick and they couldn't believe what they heard. Their boss was giving an employee a chance to get in his elevator. Sanaya said, "I'll wait for the next one. Thank you."
Kyle looked at Nick. He was sure, Nick was about to explode. Nobody ever refused him, Sanaya was the first who said no to him though indirectly.
"Who is she? So lucky yet showing attitude…", blah blah Sanaya could hear people saying so but she ignored them.
"Since you want it then be in the meeting room in a minute.", The elevator door was closing and Sanaya could see Nick's poker face for a little while.
"Wait! What? On-one minute?", Sanaya was done for. She was good at running, it was true but only a minute? if she was to wait for the common elevator then she would never get to be there. She looked at the staircase, "I can only help myself now by this " and she started running over the stairs.
"Boss, what if she faints? It's her first day, wasn't it too mu-ch…", Kyle shut his mouth as he saw Nick looking at him as a devil. He wanted to live more days, no thanks.
"Then do you want to say that she did the right thing by refusing me?" Nick was going to behave nicely with her but she made him do the opposite. He could only punish her for her bravery then.
Sanaya looked at her wristwatch. She was already running with all her strength. At the time she reached there she saw Nick was standing there with Kyle. She was out of breathing
She walked towards them as fast as she could with the little energy she had in her because of running and said," Sorry Boss. I'm 6 seconds late.`` Nick was not angry at her because she was late. Sanaya walked past him and then she walked into the meeting room.
It was her first day working as an interpreter. All her nervousness was gone because of Nick, she seemed to be confident. In the meeting she did her job perfectly, she even got praised for working without getting nervous on her first day.
"Kyle. Show her around and don't forget to tell her all the details.", Saying so Nick walked out of the meeting room. Sanaya was angry at him, she didn't care that he was angry at her. He made her running for no reason on her first day at the office.
Getting introduced to everyone, Sanaya felt happy, she didn't face any problem on her first day at work. When she thought she was liked by everybody she got to understand that some people were not liking her. And the reason, she didn't know but never mind. She got files to translate, it seemed like they wanted to bully her but she was dedicated, working hard was her moral.
As she thought, it was not the same. Nick didn't go to see her all day, so it meant she was safe, right? That's what she thought. She thought that refusing him this morning was good enough to make him understand that she was not so easy to get.
After work, Sanaya got her purse and cell phone then she saw a girl to leave. She gave Sanaya a scary look and then she left.
"Strange!" Sanaya sighed and looked at her wristwatch. TIME TO GO HOME.
