" Vicky complimented." Beautiful, have you seen yourself. You are like a freaking goddess." and I was right, she was dressed in a blue off shoulder gown that hugged her body, aligning every curve she had.
Giovanni and Richard were talking to some businessmen just a distance away from us. while Vicky and I hang out with each other.
" I guess we both look hot. " Vicky says. We both laughed, acknowledging the fact we did look great.
" I guess I'm not the only one who thinks so. " I point at Richard, his were on her and Vicky blushes, tapping my shoulders lightly with a big smile on her face.
" You aren't one to speak, Giovanni keeps stealing glances at you. I won't be surprised if he isn't paying attention to whatever that man was saying." I looked at the direction Giovanni was and caught his gaze. When our eyes met, he sent a wink down my way and I blushed looking away.
" God! The both of you are so whipped." Vicky chuckled, wearing a teasing smile on her face.
" You mean like you and Ric" I wiggled my eyebrows. Before Vicky could reply, we disturbed by a loud voice.
" Giovanni." I turned to look at the owner of the voice and there Giovanni stood a brunette with a very skinny gown that leaves no imagination. Her slim tall legs and skinny form made her look like a model, a stunning one at that.
I noticed Giovanni was tensed with her presence a bit, he turned to stare at her with no emotions on his face, not even an acknowledgement or a smile. Nothing.
" Sophie." he said her no with no single interest but the so-called woman couldn't read between the lines and clutched herself into Giovanni's hand, trailing her finger down his hand.
I looked at Giovanni, his face was stonic. I have never seen him like this before, he looked almost murderous.
" Who is she. " Vicky asked curiously.
" I have no idea, I haven't seen or heard of her before." I replied, my eyes never trailed away from them.
" Why was she clutching on to him like that? Does she not know he is married. It's obvious he wants nothing to do with her. " Vicky venomously said as I continued to stare at them.
Giovanni roughly removed her hands that were on him not giving her the time of the day. His eyes moved to look in my direction. His expression was calm but his eyes begged for me not to misunderstand anything, hoping to get through to me. I didn't know who she was and I hated the fact that she was close to Giovanni like that.
" I think I'm going to go there. " I say to Vicky.
" Yeah girl, go show her, her place." Vicky raised her thumbs up, backing me up. I walked towards him, placing my palm on his chest.
Giovanni wrapped his hand around me, smiling down at me and I smiled back at him.
" Hi, I'm Sophie, a very very good friend of Giovanni and you are. " she said with all arrogance, making sure to emphasize the word friend. Which meant she and Giovanni had something between them in the past. Her hand was stretched out for a handshake
" Roy. " I said, shaking her hands. " Giovanni's wife, though I haven't heard of you. " I innocently said, her smile was completely wiped off, she stared at my hand placed on Giovanni's chest, more specifically my ring finger.
" WI... Fe". She stutters out, looking at Giovanni like he had grown two heads and can't believe he got married.

" Yes, wife." I repeated again, it seems she can't wrap her head around it and I couldn't help but wonder why she was behaving like this. She let out a screeching laugh, that almost made me go deaf.

" Because Gio....." she was caught off by Giovanni before she could tell me anything.
" What do you want, Sophie?" Giovanni asked coldly, looking at her.
" I was wrong Gio. I know what I did was bad, but I was young then. I promise I have change" she begged and his jaw clenched.
" Stay away from me Sophie, I don't care if you've changed or not. Am married and I love my wife so dearly. " He said sternly.
" She can't possibly be better than me. Does she take good care of Alexander." She knows about Alexander, who she was. My heart kept on beating faster, scared of what the outcome might be.
" don't ever mention my son's name with that filthy mouth of yours." Giovanni spat out angrily, his vein popped out and I was shocked at his outburst.
" But he is my son. " Son, did she say son, I felt my knee go weak. Was she Alexander's mom, they look nothing alike yet the thought she might be his mom, means she was Giovanni's first. Was my fear coming true?
