Alice was trying her best to drag me out but I didn't leave the door. I started feeling pain in both arms. When nothing worked, Alice used her wolf power because of which I lost my grip on the door and fell to the ground.
"You whore" she was about to slap me but Sam held her hand and jerked it off. She helped me to stand up.
"It's better if you don't interrupt in this matter, Sam.'' Alice frowned. Everyone was continuously saying to Max to throw me out. Max pulled me towards him when Alice was about to hold my hand again. That's when Max growled loudly, shutting everyone's mouths. His wolf was on the surface making everyone shiver in fear and by his phenomenon, anyone can say that his wolf is an Alpha.
"I dare everyone to say a single word against Luna then I will not think twice to cut that person's tongue or rip the soul out of his body who will go against her" Max growled. Everyone moved back in fear. Emily came near him and moved her hand on his chest to calm Max's wolf.
"I know you're protecting her, fulfilling your Beta's duty but please calm down... you're scaring everyone, Rex" Emily mumbled to Max's wolf and he immediately gave the control back to Max.
"Nobody will go against Luna. I won't take a word against her" Max warned everyone.
"May I know Beta, why are you protecting her?" Alice smirked and I looked at her, knowing where this conversation was going.
"It's my duty to protect Luna and her dignity till my last breath" Max replied.
"I don't think so you're doing all this to follow your Beta's duty. Because the way you're protecting her, it seems like you had a special relationship with her. Something special and close" Alice said. I glared at her angrily, knowing the meaning behind her dirty words.
"I think Alice's question is right. A whore like Sana can control any man's mind by warming their bed. Maybe she controlled your mind as well, Beta" Ella said. Emily growled at Ella for using bad words for his mate.
"Dare you to say rubbish about my mate" Emily scrawled. I went towards them and then glared at Alice.
"I'm warning you to shut your mouth because now you're crossing all your limits."
"no... I will not and why are you trying to shut my mouth, Sana? Did I say something wrong or did I say the truth?" She smirked. I closed my fist to control my anger as I don't want to create drama when my mate is fighting for his life inside the room. I turned my head and looked at Alex who was breathing heavily. I was about to go inside the room but Alice held my hand.
"You can't go near him," she said. I look at her angrily.
"What? Don't give me that look because you're scaring" She said sarcastically and then she and Ella laughed at my misery.
"I'm not afraid of you," Alice smirked and then crossed her hand around her chest.
"Answer my one question Sana... the relation you and Max shared is Beta's or Luna's relation or something physical also. Because the way you control his mind is only possible when you warm his bed." Alice said crossing her limit and I lost all control over my anger. I grabbed her by the neck and pushed her towards the wall angrily. I tightened my grip on her neck, choking her to death.
"Lu... Luna" she tried to get out of my grip but badly failed. The more she was trying, the more I tightened my grip on her neck. After a while, she stopped struggling and closed her eyes. Her whole face turned red because of the lack of oxygen. Max kept his hand on my shoulder.
"Luna," He mumbled. I left Alice with a jerk when she was almost near death. She fell to the ground breathing heavily.
"Arghh" She groaned, trying to field air in her lungs.
"I'm not saying anything, it doesn't mean you all can cross your limit. I can understand your concern towards Alpha and the pain you're all going through seeing him like this but if he is your Alpha then he is also my mate." I yelled and looked at Alex. Tears brimmed in my eyes, somehow I controlled them then turned my head and looked at everyone.
"I'm Sana Alex Benson, his mate and because of the relationship I share with him, I'm your Luna as well. I'm not expecting you all to empathise with me but don't forget your limits. you all are obliged to respect me as your Luna and I dare you all to utter nonsense now because it will not take me a second to kill anyone." I growled and looked at Alice and Ella.
"My mate, your Alpha Alex Benson taught me how to fight and kill my enemies and you know his skills very well. so dare you to mess with me" I said and turned my head towards everyone.
"At this time, you all should pray for your Alpha's betterment rather than hearing this stupid argument and wasting your time blaming me" I growled.
"Sana.. calm down," Max said. I took a deep breath and in the next moment, my anger turned into pain. Pain to see my mate in this condition. Tears fell from my eyes. I quickly wiped them off and looked at everyone.
"He always treats you all like his family members. Please pray to the moon goddess for his life... please" I pleaded and turned towards Alex. He was lying on the bed unconscious and looking at the scenario. Anyone can say that he is not okay. Tears were continuously falling from my eyes. After a while, the pack doctor came out of the room. I immediately wiped my tears and went to her.
"How is he?" I asked.
"To be honest Luna, he is not okay... his life is in danger. Alpha Alex lost a lot of his blood and as his wolf is not with him. He is just a human who is attacked by a wolf"
"So, what?" I frowned. "What the hell have you been doing inside for the past hour?" I yelled.
"Luna, I'm sorry but we tried our best," She said. I hold her hand.
"Please do something... please... Alex told me that you're a witch and you can heal anyone then what happened? please heal him"
"I'm a cursed witch, Luna. Lucifer snatched my all power but thanks to his wife Chloe that he gave me some power and had some mercy on me. I can heal only small injuries. Still, I tried to heal Alpha Alex but it didn't work,' she said.
"What do you mean?" I asked in a cracked voice.
"Only Alpha's wolf can heal him, no one else." She said, dropping a bomb on all of us.
"Dominic is not going to show his presence, not before full moon night as he needs to retain his energy first which he lost in recovering this bitch wolf," Ella said, looking at me.
"In that case, we only can pray to the moon goddess to have mercy on us and Alpha Dominic show his presence soon to heal our Alpha Alex because he had only a few hours with him, if Alpha Dominic didn't show his presence then we will lose our Alpha forever" Doctor replied.
I felt like somebody took my life away from me. I fell on the ground not able to hold myself and fear took me over… fear of losing my mate. I'm still not able to believe what was going on and what the doctor said. Only one thing was roaming in my mind that Alex can't leave me like this… He can't do this to me… he just can't…

Max Pov's

We all were shocked and in pain after hearing the Doctor. Ella told me before that Alpha Dominic will take time to show his presence and here we don't have time only.
"Sana" Emily sat beside Sana and hugged her while crying. Sana looks at the doctor and then at Alex.
"He will be alright... nothing will happen to him," she mumbled and distanced herself away from Emily. She wiped her tears and stood up from the ground.
"How silly I'm... crying on a stupid prank. He is alright. Nothing serious had happened." she laughed and hit her forehead slightly.
"Sana" I called her... tears brimmed in my eyes looking at her like this. She looked at me and then laughed.
"Why are you crying? He is absolutely fine. you don't know how dramatic he is. He is just doing drama to get everyone's attention. He has a habit of doing pranks, '' she laughed. Sam went to her and hugged her tightly.
"Luna... please don't react like this. He is not doing any drama." She pleaded.
"You're also involved with him, right? please stop this prank" Sana said and distanced herself away from Sam.
"Alex hates when I cry. If he sees me like this then he will take everyone's class." She said and then looked at me with hope.
"You only tell them, Max, to stop pranking me." she said and looked at Sam. "tell her not to do such kind of stupid prank with me and also wake your Alpha up. Does someone do such a stupid prank" she frowned. I kept looking at her with teary eyes, not able to understand what I should say to her.
she turned her head towards me when I didn't answer her anything.
"why you're silent... tell them to stop messing with me. Alex is alright, nothing has happened to him. I know, he will wake up right now and then laugh at me seeing me crying like this… Then when… I" Tears fell from her eyes but she quickly wiped them off. "When I become angry with him then he will come behind me, saying sorry" she chuckled.
I wiped tears from the corner of her eyes. she knows that it is not a prank.. Alex is not alright but she doesn't want to accept the truth. She doesn't want to accept the reality that he is in danger.
"Sana" only a single word came out of my mouth. I was not able to tell her that it was not a prank.
"What Sana? Asked him to wake up and stop crying" she yelled and pushed me away. I was trying to gather the courage to tell her the truth when my eyes landed on the door and my eyes widened seeing Irene standing at a distance.
Irene came to me and hugged me tightly, started crying, hiding her face in my chest.
"I was coming to meet Alex, wanted to discuss something important with him and when I came here, I got to know about Adrian and also that he attacked my brother" she cried. I caress her hair.
"Irene, baby, please try to control yourself," Stefan said. Irene nodded her head and broke the hug.
"What happened to him," she asked. I told her everything that the doctor said. She was crying bitterly looking at her brother like this. Thanks to the moon goddess Stefan is there to handle her. I turned my head to look at Sana who was not at her place.
"Sana '' I called her and looked around to find her but she was nowhere. Fear took me as she was not in her senses. What if she does something with herself?
