I was still not able to believe that she left me like this in the middle of the road. Well, could I blame her? It was me who always teased her. I mentally cursed myself and sat on the road corner waiting for any vehicle.
I was thinking about Sana when a car stopped in front of me. I stood up and looked at the car owner who is no one but my mate who left me in the middle of the road. She pulled down the window shield and looked at me with no expression on her face.
"Come inside the car," She said in a stern tone. I didn't say anything and turned my head to the other side.
"I'm sorry... I shouldn't have left like this," she said. I still didn't look at her and then I heard the sound of the car door closing. She came in front of me.
"What happened?" She asked.
"Nothing," I mumbled.
"Alex"
"Don't know why, I'm feeling so bad that you left me." I chuckled and looked at her. "It hurt that you left me alone" I felt my voice getting numb.
Her expression changed upon hearing me. She moved closer to me and cupped my face in her hands. I looked away not wanting to melt so easily.
"I'm sorry... When you said those words, I got scared," She said in a cracked voice. I looked at her and despite the rain, I could see tears in the corner of her eyes.
"you know that I hate it when you say such kind of words. I lost many things in my life and now if I lost you then even I don't know what I will do. I will burn the whole world or" She clamped up and distanced herself away from me.
"It angered me that despite telling you not to say such kind of words to me, you uttered those kinds of words to me again. I also know this fact that we can't control the future nor do we know what is going to happen in the next moment but when you say such kind of words... It scared my soul, Alex" She said and turned her head in another direction.
"In anger, I left you but in that single ride of five minutes, I realise what you become to me. The thought of getting separated from you scared the hell out of me. I lost." She gulped and then looked at me.
"I lost my child and I'm still not able to get out of that pain nor will I forget my baby died in my womb. I lost her or him... When you say such kind of words to me, it revives all my wounds. It built fear in me that I will lose you and I can't imagine what I would do if something happened to you" She started breathing heavily. I pulled her closer, knowing she was having a panic attack.
"Sano, look at me... Take a deep breath and stop thinking about your past"
"Alex"
"Nothing will happen to me... calm down and do as I say... Take a deep breath" I said and she did as I said.
"Release it" She again compiled my words. I took her in my embrace and soon because of the mate bond, she started getting normal. After a while, she broke the hug and looked at me.
"I'm sorry... I didn't want to hurt you or make you feel that I left you" She mumbled. I nod my head
"It's okay" I mumbled, not able to understand what I should say.
She went toward the car and sat in the driving seat.
"You have only a minute to sit inside the car, otherwise spend your whole day on this road... Alone..." She emphasised the word alone. Taking her warning seriously, I sat on the seat beside the driving seat. She was looking outside, tapping her finger on the steering wheel.
"Sano... I'm not leaving you and nothing will happen to me" I finally said, understanding her point and why she lost control over her anger. She abruptly looked at me.
"Promise?"
"Sano"
"Promise me that you will never leave me alone"
"I can't promise you something that I can't fulfil," I said. she tightened her lips, trying her best not to cry. After a while, she nodded her head like she understood my point. She starts the engine and drives towards the NGO.
"I never thought that you would know how to drive?" I asked in amusement.
"And why so?"
"Don't take me wrong, queen. I said those lines because you only said that you rarely go outside the pack" I reasoned out. she nodded her head in an understanding tone and then looked at me.
"I never go outside after my marriage, before that, I was an independent girl or say a free bird who could fly anywhere and as much as she wanted," She said. I nod my head and look at her, she was still upset because of my words.
"I'm sorry.. please don't get upset like this"
"I'm okay... Don't worry" she smiled at me.
"we will get many moments and also as you promised me to spend time with me in rain, I promise you to love you till my last breath and also fulfil my and your all fantasies"
"All fanatics? how many and what are your fantasies" She asked, looking at the road.
"Believe me, it's better if we don't discuss it until we have our first night," I said. she applied the break and looked at me shockingly not expecting I would say something like this.
"Our first night" She repeated my words and then turned her head, looking outside the window. I'm sure her face must have turned into a beetroot colour till now because of shyness.
"You're reacting like we never going to have sex"
"Alex" She glared at me when I used the word openly.
"What? It's just a few days my queen because I don't think so, I can control much. I'm going to have you soon and I promise you that you will only ask me to touch you and then ask for my dick inside" She put her hand on my mouth.
"You're impossible" She hissed in anger and then turned her head towards the road. I rolled my eyes at the way she hid her emotion behind that angry face. She again started driving the car and I laughed loudly looking at her reaction. After a few minutes of driving, she broke the silence.
"Well, why did you say that it's better if we don't discuss your fantasies?" she asked nervously.
"Because if I tell you then you will never let me touch you. As you're already scared with the name of Sex. I don't want your fear to increase."
"I was" She mumbled and then stopped the car. She turned her face towards me.
"I was scared before but now I'm not" She shyly bowed her eyes. "because I trust you with myself and I know, you will never hurt me. Also"
"Also?"
"Also, I want to feel you in the same way, you want to feel me" she blushed.
Before I could say something, she hopped down from the car. I too hopped down and went to her side to continue what we were talking about.
She was looking at something, I followed her gaze and my eyes widened seeing the two big houses and a big lawn in front of my eyes.
"Fuck... How can I forget about it? I should not bring Sano here after she shared the address with me. How can I be so foolish that I didn't recognise this place before after reading the address she gave me." I mentally cursed myself and looked at Sana who was happily looking at both houses. Before she could move towards the NGO, I held her hand.
"We should not go inside" I mumbled.
"What?"
"I mean it's raining so we should go back to our pack," I said, not able to find a proper excuse.
"Stop teasing me Alex and let me go" She giggled.
"I'm not teasing you"
"Yeah, you're not teasing me" She rolled her eyes and then looked at me.
"You're saying to go to the 30 miles away pack rather than a 5 min away house because it's raining," She said sarcastically.
"Yes, I'm saying it and we're going back to our villa," I said and opened the car door with my other hand.
"Alex, you're not serious right?" She asked in hope that I would say, I was pranking her.
"sit inside the car," I said in a stern tone.
"But what happened? You only brought me here so that I can meet them all and now after reaching here, so close to them.. you're saying let's go back to the pack" She said and tears brimmed in her eyes. I can feel how much she wanted to meet them all but only I knew how much it was going to hurt her after witnessing the truth. I gulped and looked at her.
"Please Alex if it was a prank or you're teasing me then please stop it. Please," she said.
"I'm serious, Sana."
"Alex"
"Can't you just listen to me without arguing? Sit inside the car" I said rudely. She looked at me with teary and complaining eyes. I turned my head to the other side, not able to look into those complaining eyes. She sat inside the car without arguing. I sighed and looked towards the welfare centre.
