I immediately stopped the chariot and looked outside.
But found nothing.
He must have fallen down.

The only person who can fly in sky at this height are those at rank 8 or higher. So the chance of a person like that dying from the hit of chariot was unlikely. Other one being the dragons, only they have strong wings to fly at this attitude.
And with the kind of relation I have with those lizards... I won't give a damn even if their entire race is dead.
[But you should go down, husband. That ruin is near this place, you can easily locate it if you go down now.]
Oh, yeah. I should have just asked you. By the way, you were quiet for so long, are you doing fine?
[I am good. It's just i feel tired and accidentally fell asleep again.]
Her voice seemed low. She was genuinely tired. But is it possible for that to happen just because we had sex?

I immediately went inside my domain, appearing right before Zixane. She was surprised by my suddenness.
Looking straight into her eyes, I asked, "Did you fought with someone, when I was awakening? Is that why you asked me to be silent?"
She turned grim, but didn't say anything. Maybe worried that I will say something to her.
She indeed fought with someone, maybe one of the gods, otherwise I do not think that someone so powerful like her will feel tired.
I placed my hands on her cheeks, and looked at her with affection.
"Such a naive girl."
She still didn't say anything. Just resting her face on my hands.
What I was doing wasn't only showing my affection to her. I was actually analysing her body.
Inside this domain, nothing can escape from me.
I checked her body, trying to see if there are any injuries. And I indeed found them.
Not just physical injuries, but there were injuries on her soul as well.
And they weren't light.
An incomprehensible rage welled up from inside me.
She was willing to die for me.
And even now, she isn't saying a word, just giving me a simple smile as if nothing has happened.
"Husband..." She then called me.
"You should go now. I will take some rest here." She said.
I nodded my head and gave her a peck on her forehead.
And just as I was about to leave, she spoke again, "Umm..."
I once again turned towards her. This time, she was shaking a bit, her cheeks were flushed red, not with embarrassment but something else.
"I just wanted to say this that no matter what happens inside the ruin, no matter what you become after going inside, I will always love you. And I will not say or act anything now, everything you do inside will be upto you alone."
Saying that she grabbed my shirt and pulled me closer to her, kissing me by surprise.
Well, this was unexpected. Until now I was the only one who did this, but this does feel good.
Kissing me for while, she stopped after a few seconds and said, "Go now, we need to get back soon."
She turned away immediately while saying that.
So she is afraid that I won't be me when I go inside, huh?
But won't I be me even if I get back the memories from my past?
And even if I change, wasn't she in love with me? What's the issue here.
"You sound as if we won't meet again." I laughed it out as if I did not care ans exited the domain.
Let's go down now.
The chariot slowly went down. Landing safely.
I looked around once again, trying to see if I can find that person.
But my eyes couldn't see him.
Did he go away? It's very unlikely though, he must have came to seek revenge if he was fine enough to walk.
I then used my mana perception to locate him.
Currently I can sense anyone if he or she is under 10km radius from me.
Within a second, I was able to find few people near me and a very few distance away from me, there lied a person, who was flat on the ground.
Must be the victim of some accident.
I scratched my cheeks a bit. The one I hit and the one who was lying flat on the ground wasn't a guy at all. It was a she.
Now I feel bad.
And she looks like a child too.
I shook my head and decided to go to her. To see that she at least isn't dead yet.
But why do I feel i have seen her before.
I instantly jumped from my place and reached her at one shot.
Haah... feels good to freely use my strength.
I never was able to go all out or use my strength fully.
Reaching her location. I looked at the little girl, who was almost my age.
I am 10 by the way, if you forgot.
I closed my eyes with disappointment and sighed... deeply inwardly.
I wasn't disappointed that she was still alive. But I was disappointed because she was someone who I did not wanted to have any relations with.
She was none other than the dragon girl who participated in the awakening with me, the dragon princess and the daughter of my dear friend, Vaelora.
Out of billions of people in this planet, I had to hit her? Just how good is my luck?
I crouched down, and tried to shake her body.
"Hey, wake up."
But there was no response.
I do not see any injuries on her body. I tried to see for injuries using mana, and yet again I found nothing on her body.
That means only one thing, she had a protective gear with her.
It must have been due to the sudden impact that she felt unconscious. Fortunately, there was no need to worry for me.
But this makes me question, what was she doing out there?
Didn't she leave with that lizard? Why is she alone now?
And I do not even see him coming for her. Don't tell me she ran away just like me?
Nah, that's very unlikely.
Hmm? What is that thing?
I was casually making up some reasons for her, when i sensed something from inside her.
I was still using mana to examine her body, I did not find any injuries, but I felt something. A similar feeling that I can feel from me.
It was a demonic mana.
I remember Zixane said that she has some demonic lineage, is this what she was talking about?
Looking further, the demonic mana that I senses did not come from her mana core... it was coming from some different place.
Precisely from her heart.
When I looked deeper inside her, I was surprised by the unexpected discovery of her heart.
Even though I have never seen the heart of a dragon, but i am damn sure it doesn't look like hers.
Her heart was dark, completely dark. And I have seen this same darkness inside me too, but it wasn't from my heart but from my demonic core.
She possessed a demonic heart.
So this was the reason why she was able to sense that i am a demon.
Not completely, but i do have the traits of a demon.
But how come she has a demonic heart? Won't the whole world turn against her if they knew about her demonic heart?
A single demon was able to cause so much chaos in their world, how will they react when they find that there was another one now?
And how will that lizard react to this?
He hated me for being a demon who killed his clan members. What will he do when he finds out that his own daughter is a demon?
It would be so fun to see his face then.
But then something struck me.
Hmm? Wait a minute, he asked Ayesha to hide the matter of Vaelora from everyone, right?
Was this the thing he was talking about? And not the mythical core that she awakened?
Damn bitch. When someone else becomes a demon, you gang up on him but when it is your own daughter, you try to hide that from others?
Such hypocrisy.
Even I am not that hypocrite.
