CHAPTER 41
DANI’S POV
For the last three days I have been talking to a female in my dreams.
She’s young and always smiles at me, before jumping on my bed . laughing.
We have developed a kinda kinship.
She never tells me her name but she said we will meet soon.
It feels good to have a friend. Even if she’s not real.
I don’t trust people, but I feel I can trust her.
Girls always make me feel like, They think I’m going to take their man.
I don’t care about their men or them.

“Mom, I’m not going!!! To be slobbered on by a bunch of horny hounds.
I can not believe she is blackmailing me.
Threatening to take away my allowance and my car if I don’t go to the celebration.
Mom bought a new silky powder blue gown to hug my curves.
I would rather wear a sundress, something light and flowing.
I have large breast and a small waist, with round hips.
I hate it when guys tell me I have child bearing hips.
They are pigs.
I don’t want a mate. All the girls can’t wait to find a mate.
Not me.. I like my life, just the way it is.
Hurry up!! Get in the shower, so I can start on your hair.
My mom is so excited. She misses my dad when he’s on patrol.
She wants me to have what she has with my dad.
I have to admit it's nice to see two people so in love.
Yes, I would like that too.
I leave my long brown hair down in one thick single braid.
My hair is almost to my knees. It’s a pain to take care of. But I love the way it looks.
OK, I'm wearing makeup and high heels. The dress falls to the floor with a slit to my hip.
I feel almost naked. My mom thinks if I look sexy, my mate will not reject me.
The Celebration
We have set up a bar and buffet outside.
With a stage and twinkling lights set up.
A large bonfire in the center. This place was huge.
All the young unmated males are by the bar because if one of the ladies
Needed a drink, that's where they go.
I really need a stiff one.. Drink.
The men parted and I stepped up.
I felt like a new toy, in front of little boys.
One slapped my ass.
“I wonder if you can do that with no fingers!” I glared at him.”
“Oww, don’t be that way, doll.” Another guy said.
I HATE THESE GATHERINGS!!!
Dani spotted Ala standing on the other side of the bonfire.
“Who is that?” Dani asked one of the guys, pointing across the room.
That’s our new Luna. This celebration is in her honor.
Dani started walking towards Ala when, You guessed it.
Dani put her nose in the air and sniffed.
Ala was watching Dani.
Ala smiled when she saw Dani sniff the air.
Dani’s eyes started to gloss over, when she realized what she was doing.
She saw a beautiful man standing with the Luna.
Her palms are sweating and heart is pounding in her chest.
Dani almost teared up when she saw The beautiful man kiss The Luna on the check and he leaned in and said something in her ear.
Has he chosen another!!?
Dani’s parents are there watching over their daughter.
When they see her run into the woods.
“Dani! Dani!!” her father called.
“The woods are not safe!!” My father yelled.
“I don’t care.” I’m done with this shit.”
Josh is talking to Ala when he smelt an intoxicating scent.
It was fant, but it was there. What's that smell?
He kissed Ala on the check and said thank you for everything.
Josh left looking for that smell.
It’s not as strong around the bonfire. It seems to be coming from the woods.
A man is yelling for someone named Dani.
It’s her!! Josh went running into the forest after her.
Dani’s father saw him running after his daughter.
Rage started to build within Dani’s father.
Dani’s father started running after Josh.
her father caught up to Josh and tackled him to the ground.
Josh spun around and started to shift, when Dani stepped in front of her father.
Josh smelled her. Reaching out, he grabbed her, breathing in her scent.
As her father stood there watching, Josh still in half shift form holding his daughter.
“MINE!!!” Josh growled.
“Let's go back to the party.” Dani’s father said smiling.
Josh lifted Dani in his arms and started walking.
Ala sees Dani being crushed in Josh’s arms.
“Josh!” You found her.
Dani looked at Ala, “It’s you!.”
“I told you, You will see me soon.”
Josh looked at Ala. “THANK YOU!!”.
As he continued to smell and kiss Dani’s neck.
“IT'S TIME!!” Eric called out.
Ala and Eric stepped up on the stage.
I would like to introduce your new Luna ,” Ala!”
Eric reached out and kissed her.
They turned to face each other.
As Their fangs lingthen. They remarked each other in front of witnesses.
Ther marks started glowing bright blue.
Everyone cheered with excitement.
‘Time to run.” Eric called out.
Not Everyone was stepping behind trees and shifted.
Some wanted to run in human form.
Tim is watching everyone shift. He starts to whimper silently to himself.
One day I will !!! He prayed to the moon goddess.
And Tim started to feel strange.
He screamed out in pain. Everyone turned around and seen Tim
On the ground screaming.
Crystal and Tony are at his side within a second.
“What's happening!!!” Crystal yelled.
Several people are in their wolf form watching Tim on the ground.
The pack doctor said He’s shifting.
“That's impossible, he’s only seven.”
“He can’t shift for another nine years.”
“I don’t know what to tell you, He’s shifting.”
