Theodore didn’t have time to think that he also had royal blood in his vein, but what would he do by reading his mind at this moment? Wasn’t he late for that?
Lestat had already heard what he had mind linked earlier. So, he had already used his dark magic to block all the phone calls or internet connections. He wanted to know what Theodore was thinking, but since then, he wasn’t been thinking anything at all until now.
“If you’re bad, then I’m your dad,” Lestat smirked. “I knew from the beginning that you won’t give up on your mate that easily, but then again, I was already prepared to kill you. All my strong children are useless and against me. So, in the end, I end up killing them before they kill me.”
“I’m not your child.” Theodore snapped.
“This will make my job much easier.” Lestat smiled, and they both ran toward each other to kill. Lestat wasn’t expecting Theodore to be stronger than him physically. Theodore beat the shit out of him by throwing him here and there. Theodore grabbed his leg and started slamming him against the ground to and fro.
Theodore grabbed both his legs, ready to tear his body into two parts until Lestat said something, and he was thrown away with force.
By then, Lestat understood that he couldn’t defeat Theodore by fighting against him physically. That may be because Theodore had spent all his life fighting with others and also because his other half was Lycan, unlike him, which was half-human.
“You will be my first child whom I’m killing with my magic,” Lestat said and chanted something. Theodore ran toward him to attack him but saw a big fireball coming toward him. He changed his direction, but the fireball followed him like a small puppy until it hit him back, throwing it away from there.
Theodore heard the sound of his bone breaking. He bit his lips not to whimper in pain. He was positive that Liara would have felt this pain, too, no matter how much she was sleeping peacefully after sex.
‘Lia, leave away from there immediately. Go near your parents or somewhere safe.’ He mind-linked her.
“Asking her to run away like a coward? Well, can’t expect anything different from her. She is weak and pathetic now.” Lestat said as he raised his hand in the air to conjure his powers. The weather started changing. All of a sudden, calm weather changed into a storm. Lestat’s eye turned black, and he controlled black lightning with his hand.
He was using both his dark magic and vampire power to fry Theodore like a chicken. Theodore tried to stand up on his feet, to run away from there, but he doubted that he could escape from this. The attack that Lestat was preparing was dangerous and powerful.
“Say hi to your mom.” He said, and Theodore’s eyes widened. He was scared to die for the first time. He wanted to do so many things for Liara and Griffin. He brought his hand in front of his body to dodge the attack though it was a very futile attempt to save himself until he sensed her presence.
‘No! No! No! What is she doing here?’ He removed his hand from his face, only to see a big white wolf jump before him.
“Destinyyy,” Theodore shouted in horror, watching her ready to take the attack that was meant to be for him. He wanted to protect her, but everyone happened so quickly that he didn’t get time to do anything else except for watching everything like an audience.
