Within a few more minutes, almost every student and staff member of the academy came to the central field of the campus, where numerous conversations and discussions followed. For once, there seems to be great harmony among all the student factions, with no debates, arguments, hidden hostilities, or pushing and pulling. In fact, it was so strange to see this that it almost felt unnatural to an extent.
The professors of Gold Section and other sections were also waiting to see this spectacle from the sidelines, all seated in chairs, respectably; only Professor Regina was missing. The stage was set like an opera, except that instead of everyone sitting in a large auditorium, everyone was under the open sky. But at the moment they couldn’t see the sky properly as it was illuminated by countless small dancing lights of various colors and elements twisting and swirling in profound patterns that was a complete treat for the eyes.
If he had seen this before going into his own trial, it would have felt marvelous to him. However, seeing and experiencing so many things there and now, he felt complete in many ways. That experience was only now reinforcing his personality into something more. The catastrophic power he wielded in that place, due to the world Will’s weak suppression, was intoxicating in the trial world. The magical capabilities and prowess he could express were heaven-defying, in the context of that world at least.
So, this little light show did not manage to impress him as much as he would have expected. But the festive and harmonious atmosphere did bring a sense of unusual calmness within him. It almost felt peaceful. But the touch of a soft hand broke him out of his appreciation of the situation. He looked towards the side and found a lovely girl with golden hair and light red eyes looking at him with an innocent smile.
"Hey...?" she asked him.
Axel also smiled involuntarily, seeing her smiling at him like that, "Hey?"
He scrutinized her and found that she was mostly okay, which led him to realize that Lucien must not have told her anything. If not for that, she would not be smiling at him . A complicated string of emotions flowed in his heart. Lumina was gazing intently at his eyes, almost lost in them. He asked her hesitantly, "Are you ok?"
Lumina said reassuringly, "Don’t worry. I’m all ok. Don’t blame yourself. It’s a powerful tool that I still don’t fully understand, even after using it. You had no idea of knowing anything about it either."
Axel opened his mouth, wanting to say something, "Lumina, I..."

Seeing that hesitation, a sigh escaped Lumina’s lips as she shook her head with a smile, stopping his attempts at explaining anything, "Anyway, let’s not talk about that. It’s a special occasion. Let’s.. enjoy the moment."
Axel nodded and coughed slightly, looking at his own hand, which Lumina was holding. She let go of his hand with a bit of reluctance. He looked around with a worried gaze. If Sophia were anywhere near, to his relief, she wasn’t. She didn’t like being in the middle of so many people; it was doubtful she would even be interested in all of this and would likely find it all to be a nuisance since she would become the center of attention instantly if she were here.
He looked to the side, and Vyra seemed to have appeared beside him. The two of them were chatting happily, flirting subtly like a sweet couple. He chuckled and didn’t bother Heinz anymore. Soon, Professor Regina appeared on the stage, wearing an ancient dress that bore a Resemblance to a Yukata, albeit not identical. It was all red in color, with a hood covering her head, yet still revealing her face.
Golden shining patterns were embroidered on it. Runes were also engraved on it, but they were simply runes which only had the effect of capturing people’s attention and made the professor look illuminating and...
’holy’, yes, that would be the right word to be used here. She looked gorgeous, but not in a way that evoked lust from men; instead, she garnered respect and reverence. She looked nothing like the usual rough and tough, tantalizing female professor who was a delight to the eyes of all the boys.
She looked upwards at the thousands of dancing light balls of various colors, putting one of her hands forward, and all the light balls started to come towards her, coalescing into one. Hundreds of colors mixed, creating a radiant effect that constantly changed and almost evolved into a single, colorful sphere of light, demanding absolute attention from everyone. As the lights faded from the skies, the dark night sky was all that remained.
The female professor dressed like a Japanese holy maiden then proceeded to squash the ball of light, and what followed was a breathtaking scenario as if an arc of rainbow had been smashed into thousands of pieces. The glittering lights, each made of countless colors, started radiating unequal luminosity in different directions. The fragments began to form in various shapes. Creating an illusory effect that boggled the minds of everyone.
A haze of fog spread through the entire area where the students stood; the night sky began to change, and everything they could see around them started to transform. The professor’s influential but calm voice resonated within everyone’s mind,
