The young girl looked like little scared but with her trembling hands, she was smoothly treating Liam's wound. For a moment I froze stuck by her beauty. Along with Damien and Rachel, we started noticing her every moment. Then in her silvery tone, she asked her friend for some food. Her bravery and caring attitude mesmerized me, a terrifying excitement built inside me as I walked a few steps closer to her. A strong smell of sweet fruits filled my heart and my wolf instantly growled, Our Mate.
'My Mate!'
She was my fated mate, the moment I came close to her I recognized her. Her scent was lingering all over the place. Her beauty was intoxicating and she was built to drive men wild. Everything about her was simply perfect. It seemed like she was born to be my mate, my queen, my Luna. I couldn't think about anything except loving her and making love with her. Her devouring scent and soft beauty of her body were calling me badly. But a tumble of confusion and emotions assailed me, A human. 'How can a human from the mortal world be my mate? No matter what she is, she is mine and I will make her mine,' my thoughts were broken by Damien's voice in my mind, and then I saw Liam was coming towards us. So for the last time, I watched her beautiful turquoise eyes and flawless fair face and left for the castle.
The heat inside me rose as I continued to think of her. An average wolf, regardless of his strength, couldn't stand the heat. The heat was a moment where the wolf found his mate but didn't mark or claim her. After spending a long sleepless mind, the next morning I decided to visit my mate again. But, Damien knocked at that moment with a broad smile on his face as a hindrance and asked, "Where are you going in such a hurry? Which one girl is waiting here for you?"
I didn't believe in fated mated before and I was a grown-up man now so I had numerous girls and Damien was the only crime partner of my all crimes. Though he called me 'your highness' in front of others we were like brothers. So after hesitating a little I blurted out, "Actually yesterday I found my mate near the human area and was thinking to visit there again." Damien replied in a shocking tone, "Are you kidding me, Xander? A human? How can a mere human be the mate of the future king of the underworld? Are you sure? All the girls standing there, were useless scary cats except that beauty, oh! What a beauty. I couldn't look away from her. Her soft body was-"
I cut him in the middle of the sentence, grumbled in a furious voice, "Another word about her, and I will kill you and eat your heart. How dare you say such words about my mate?" Anger started boiling insight me and my wolf started screaming.
Damien was shocked and apologetically murmured, "I didn't know. I am sorry for my ignorance, your highness. I think she would be a perfect Luna and you should visit her as soon as possible." My anger calmed down and I replied, "Let's go. I think we should go there in the disguise of hunters."
Then we left for the camp area by our jeep with two loaded guns. Damien was scared seeing my rage so for breaking the silence, I asked, "What do you think Damien, can humanly feel the same attraction towards their mate like us?"
Damien replied enthusiastically, "Of course. I think she will also be attracted towards you."
Soon we reached the camp area but there was no one so we stopped the jeep there and started walking suddenly we heard loud chaos and instantly the strong smell of cherry and sweet friends hit me. My wolf growled as it felt its mate's danger, I ran towards her and found a wild cat attacking her and she helplessly lied on the ground. After killing the wild cat, when I came close to her I found her turquoise beautiful eyes staring at me, but soon she lost her consciousness. That was the first time I saw her so closely, her thin red lips were calling me but then I saw her bloody hands. Instantly I talked with her Prof. and carried her towards our jeep. Her professors especially the young ones not agreed to leave her with us, but her condition was pathetic so they sent one of her friends with her. Reaching our castle, I carried her to the guest room and sent granny for her checkups.
"She is sleeping now. Don't worry, Xander. She will be alright soon," said granny in a caring tone. I nodded my head. She again asked in a curious tone, "Who is she to you, Xander? Do you know her?" I replied, "I don't know her not even her name. But she is my mate granny and I don't care she is human or anything else. I only want her."
Damien added, "She is the girl who saved Liam yesterday and we saw her there first."
After a little silence, she replied, "Her name is Hazel. Damien, go and ask every member to gather at the hall now. Xander is not an ordinary girl, her wounds are healing very fast even faster than werewolves. She is no doubt a human. But for now, I want to keep it a secret."
I was shocked but now only I wanted to talk to her. Soon all gathered at the hall, and Granny declared, "Today your Alpha has found his mate, so I want everyone to respect her as a Luna. She will be introduced tomorrow at breakfast. Disrespect towards her will be a punishable offense. Now leave." I waited for a long one hour, then Galaxy called us into her room. When hazel and I left alone for the first time I touched her, her soft reddish-brown hair and her soft little hand. My heart was filled with love and passion for her. She was so innocent and naïve, I had to wait for her. Though my wolf wanted to claim her at that very moment I kissed her hand, and the sexual frustration and desires only made the matters worse, but I would touch her only after her approval. I didn't hurt her at any cost. I murmured in my mind, "you are mine, Hazel." and left the room after wishing her good night.
