"Mother's letter!" I surprisingly uttered and added nodding my head in confusion, "You have mistaken, I have found just a blank old paper, nothing else." Then without wasting a second, I handed over the letter to her. I wanted to clear her misconception but her next words surprised me more. Rebeca claimed in her sweet low tone, "Great, you have found it at last. I was waiting for it, for a long. It is blank because you are still not aware of your power. But no worries, your savior is here, my dear." I thought, 'What is she saying? She may be mad. My power? Which power?' But she broke my thoughts in the middle of my thoughts and grabbed my hand. Then she with a smirk on her face took out a sharp knife from nowhere like magic and without any warning cut my palm. I was too dumbfounded to take any action. But she instantly holds my bloody palm over the blank paper and my blood dropped on that page. Instead of bloodstain, the paper was started to fill with words soon I found a letter on it. It was a miracle. I reached for the letter but before handing over the letter she touched my bloody palm once again and closed her eyes and within a blink of an eye there was no wound.
I asked in wonder, "Who are you? A magician?" She replied with her smirk, "You can call that, too. Now read the letter. The words will not last long. You looked tired I should make you a cup of tea." Then without my answer, she left. I started reading the letter.
'Dear Hazel,
As you can read my words, it means you already know now who you are. You are not an ordinary human anymore. You have some bigger responsibilities to perform now. I know you are scared and uncertain about your powers and don't know how to use them properly but don't worry you are strong my girl, very strong. I hope you will not disappoint me and will use your power wisely. Always stands for good, there will be numerous evil powers who will try to own you but you always remember you are the source of light who is going to enlighten the whole underworld.
You are born to rule, so be the most efficient empress. Your mom loves you a lot, sweetheart. Take care. I will always remain with you.

Tears ran down my cheeks and murmured, "I love you mom, I am missing you," wiping my tears I added, "I promise, I will never disappoint you."
Rebeca gently touched my shoulder and muttered, "It's alright dear. You are going to be a stunning empress. I know you don't understand the whole meaning of the letter but don't worry soon you will get to know. Now drink it," handing over a cup of aromatic tea, she added, "It is already night, let me call you a cab." I nod my head took a large sip of the tea. It was something magical. Instantly its smell hit me and my mind seemed clear and all my anxiety and confusion were replaced by calmness and relaxation. I couldn't think it necessary to worry anymore. I asked surprisingly, "What is it? It is great. Some kind of medicine?" "No, its contents of many useful herbs which calm our nerves and enhance our beauty. You like it?" asked Rebeca with her smile. I replied, "yes." "OK, I will teach you later how to make it." We started walking towards the main road and Rebeca already called a cab for me. I wished her goodbye and thanked her cordially for her help, I liked her already.
"Will you meet again? How can I contact you?" I asked her. She replied, "of course, we will. I will come to meet you when you will need me." Winking at me she added, "after all, I am your guardian angel." I was returning but I felt relaxed now. I was happy rather, it might be the effect of her magical tea. The night was calm and quiet, there were not many people on the road. Soon I reached the hostel room. After completing dinner, I didn't feel sleepy so I decided to sit on the balcony. I was sitting alone on the balcony facing the starry sky and the black water Prince Sound William. My roommates were already asleep and I could hear their breathing. Staring at the night sky, I was replaying the whole adventure of today. I was happy that I found my mom's letter, so I was humming my favorite song. Suddenly, a sweet smell of lavender and honey filled the air of my surroundings. I was sure that the source of the sweet heady scent was none other than my Xander. My eyes started searching for him in the darkness but my all effort went in vain. After a long attempt of searching for him, I got tired and again took my previous seat on the swing. "Are you looking for someone?" whispered Xander, exactly near my ear. His low, sexy growl in my ear startled me and instantly I turned my head and I found him exactly behind me with his mischievous smile on his handsome face. He was looking more stunning in the moonlight, wearing just a blue T-shirt, in that cold weather. Taking a few steps, he came closer to me, and sitting next to me, he asked again, "What are you still afraid of me? Should I leave?" I was shocked by his sudden arrival but I was not afraid at all. I was indeed excited and happy, my heart was pounding rapidly. Calming my rapid heartbeat, I quickly urged, "No no, I am not afraid. Don't leave please." Seeing my hasty reaction, he chuckled sweetly then coming closer to me, he whispered, "Don't worry, I am going to stay here tonight. I am staying here to scare you. So miss me, my princess?" I wanted to tell him a lot of things but I couldn't get the opportunity so I thought to use that one wisely. I blurted out in an apologetic tone, "Xander, actually I am sorry for that day, I should not behave like that, you have always helped me, yet I am the selfish one who never appreciates you. I am thankful to you. If you were not there at that night I may not alive now, so-"
He didn't allow me to finish the sentence, he just grabbed my chin and leaning closer to my face pressed his thin lips with mine. Then my hands went to sink into his ears, to cherish slowly the depth of his hair while we kissed as if our mouth were filled with flowers. He wrapped both hands around my waist and pulled me closer to him, there was no gap between our body and his tongue was conquering every inch of my mouth. It was a long passionate kiss as if he was hungry for that one kiss for a long time. He released my mouth when he felt that I was going out of breath.
