Oh my, this is gorgeous. I think to myself looking around the room.
The walls are painted soft beige, one of my favourite colours, and the floor is covered with soft carpet.
But what matters the most is that this is some sort of an office; an office for writers.
There's a bookshelf with all my favourite classic novels and even a few books about being a better writer. There's a desk on which rests a new-looking laptop, but my most favourite thing is the bench next to the ceiling-high window, looking out on the forests of England, and I swear I can see sea in the distance.
Tears start to pool in my eyes. "Axel, I- this is way too much, Axel, I can't, oh my god." it seems like I'm unable to move from my spot, standing like I was frozen in place, holding my hands to my mouth.
"You don't like it?" he asks, afraid he might've screwed up. "Fuck, I thought you'd love it, I'm sorry, you'll design the way you'll want to." he beginst to rant.
"Axel, I more than love it." I cut him off, "it's just that this is way too expensive of a present for me. You should've gotten me roses and chocolate, not an office!" I turn around to see a relieved Axel.
"You know that money isn't a problem, especially now that I'm a UFC fighter." he says but I don't agree with him.
He sighs. "Just forget about the money and be happy, okay? I'd buy you the world if it was possible." he says and I laugh, shaking my head. I'll never probably be over it, but I decide to let it go for now. I don't want to bring the mood down.
"Come, I need to show you the house." he takes my hand, pressing a lips on it, and wipes away my tears with his thumb.
As it turns out, the ceiling high window is a glass wall over the entire side of the house, giving us view on the majestic forests, but with no other house in sight and the road on the other side of the house.
The style is modern, but somehow mixed with old; it turns into a perfect combination of good looking but also feeling like home.
The master beroom is just next to my office, with an attached bathroom, and on the other side of the bedroom is a wonderfully decorated children's bedroom, waiting on our little ball of happiness.
There are many more rooms, including two bathrooms and two bedrooms, but the fun part is the enormous kitchen/ dining room/ living room, all in one, but it looks perfect and I can't wait to start baking cookies or brownies, whichever comes first.
On this floor, there's also a pretty big gym that Axel needs.
One of my favourite parts of the house, however, is outside; a pool and next to it, a Jacuzzi.
Amazing.
"I can't believe this is your house." I gasp whenever I look in a new room and Axel continuously fixes me by saying it's 'our house'.
I don't agree with it, though. I haven't brought a cent into this, I'm not calling it my house.
However, I will live in it with pleasure. I have absolutely not a single problem with living in a house like this.
The best part of the tour is definetly meeting Wolfie who was as excited to see us as possible. Axel told me that he'd been staying with my mum and coach since they didn't live in an apartment, but now that we'd be staying here, he'll be back with his family.
He was so happy to see me that he peed three times in fifteen minutes and started crying if I even made an attempt to leave.
In the end, we just take him of the leash and let him be free, it's not like he is going to go away from me or Axel.
As the night progresses, we take a bath in our Jacuzzi, drinking non-alcoholic champagne, blasting our speakers because we have no neighbours!
Axel keeps on reminding me that we could simply walk around our propriety naked but I dismiss it with a soft shake of my head and a blush.
Maybe someday, but not right now.
Just the thought of a naked Axel makes me lose my head.
Before I know it, I'm snuggling up to him in the water, not really able to help myself.
Nobody has ever made me feel this safe, wanted and loved, especially while they know that I have not too many feelings for them.
I know that is going to change so quickly that it almost scares me.
I trail his tattoos absentmindedly, my head resting in his neck, while he's holding me up with his hand stuck under my knee and back.
"You've done this once long ago." he says.
"Mmm?" I ask him.
"You traced your finger over my tattoos once we've known each other for only a little more than a week. It was after our first date when we went for a walk in the woods and we heard a female's scream and a shotgun." he explains and I can feel the hairs on my skin raise.
"I remember." I tell him. "Do you know what happened that night?" I ask him and he gulps, nodding his head.
"Yeah. That was Greyson. He was the one who killed that woman." he explains and I gasp.
"We always went to that forest to kill people, I mean, I never killed people but I know that there is where all of those murders happened." he says silent for a few moments.
"Well, I did kill a person. Greyson." he closes his eyes and lets out a deep breath.
"That was self defence, Axel, you can't blame yourself for that any longer. I bet Greyson killed a lot of people and not in self defence." I try to comfort him and he nods his head.
"He did; he always killed people who wanted to leave the gang, that's why I was so scared to quit. I knew he'd attempt to kill me, but I was the first one to survive and kill him." he gulps again.
"That woman, that was his girlfriend." he explains and I shoot up.
"What?! He killed his girlfriend? Did he not love her?"
Axel chuckles. "Oh he did, he loved her a lot. It's just that she didn't return the feelings and cheated on him, then wanted to leave the gang. He lost it." he explains, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.
"That's horrible." I say. "He must've been a really bad person."
"He was a fucking narcissist, the worst fucker I've ever met." Axel tells it with his own words and I can't help but chuckle.
"What?" he asks, giving me a weird look.
I shake my head. "Just thinking how much more different two people in a relationship can be." I say but immediately stop chuckling when I realize what I've just said and Axel's look.
"Relationship?"
