The man asked Roy, "Do you take Bella Karim as your lawful wife? Do you agree to marry her under no pressure and of your own free will?" Roy looked at Bella. She was pale like a white wall. He knew when she said, "I do." It broke all her dreams. But there was no other way. He looked at the man and bowed, "He will remember her sacrifice and protect her. He will respect her and if one day she finds someone she loves, he will let her go." With this determination, he said, "I do." And both signed the papers. The man said, "All is done. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Roy Chowdhury." Roy nodded. They stood up and shook their hands. Then the man left. Xavier asked, "Sir, when will you join the company? We have an important meeting tonight. Mr. Ash might not attend." Roy said, "Don't worry. We will attend. You go and arrange it. And send me the briefing." "I will." Xavier said. Bella was sitting there the whole time. She did not move an inch. Roy was about to touch her shoulder then stopped. He called, "Bella, we need to go." Bella looked at him and said, "Yes. We need to move on." Roy knew that it meant that they had to move on in their lives. Bella stood up when Xavier returned. He said, "Sorry, I almost forgot. Here is the thing you asked for." He gave Roy a shopping bag. Bella was about to get inside her room. Roy said, "Wait." Bella stopped and looked at him. Roy came near her and said, "It is for you. As you know for now we will pose as a couple who is in love. So-" he extended his hand and showed the bag. Bella took it and saw a tiny red box in the packet. She knew what it was. She opened it and saw the ring. It was a simple diamond ring. Bella pulled it and looked at it. Besides the diamond ring, it has another ring. It was a diamond ring but the diamond was so tiny that it was almost invisible. She took the ring and wore it. It matched her perfectly. She was amazed and said, "Xavier did a great job." Xavier said, "Madam, I didn't. Sir chose the ring. I just delivered it." Roy said, "Since when do you start to become talkative?" "My apology, sir." Xavier said. Roy nodded and said, "Go and prepare for the meeting." Xavier nodded. On the other hand, when Bella heard Roy choose it she was amazed. How did he know her size? Roy coughed. Bella looked at him. Roy also looked at her. After the staring contest, Bella asked, "What is it?" Roy said, "You have my ring." Bella saw that she was still holding the ring box. She gave the box to him. Roy pulled out the ring and wore it. It looked beautiful in his long slender finger. Roy made a face, which showed that he disliked it and said, "I feel uneasy. I never wear any ring or locket." Bella laughed. Her laughter was soothing. It is like birds chirping. It was cute. She said, "You are really weird. Who never wore a ring?" "I am. Even in my college days I never wore a single ring. Though it was fashionable at that time." Roy said. "It still is." Bella said. Roy saw that the smile was still lingering on her lips. For some unknown reason, he wanted her to keep on smiling. He asked, "Did you get admitted into any college?" Bella shook her head as no. She said, "After passing high school I wanted to apply for college. But Ed- he stopped and said to get married first then study. Then all this happened." She became sad. Roy saw it and said, "Don't worry. If you want to, you can continue your study. But I think you should think about it thoroughly. As the semester, pressure might affect your body. But if you really want to, you can go." Roy saw that Bella became happy and said, "I don't want to go to college. I mean not now. But I will take online courses if you don't mind." "I don't. As long as you are happy. You can make friends and even-" he stopped. Bella's eyes got big. She knew what he wanted to say. She is free to choose. Bella knew it is impossible to get divorced in this top family. And Roy's family treat like royalty. It will be harder to get divorced. But still, Roy said this means he would respect her every decision. Bella smiled and said, "Levi was right. You are a great person." Roy laughed. This time it was Bella who looked at him. When he smiled, he almost looked like Levi. But a little older version. Both Levi's have brown hair and pitch black eyes. But Roy has light brown hair and honey-colored eyes. She asked, "How old are you?" Then she remembered what she just asked. She blushed. When he laughed, anyone might mistake him for an eighteen years old boy. Bella said, "You are. And please get one thing clear, I know what you wanted to say back then. But I won't. I am…. I mean I am … what I mean to say is I am your wife and I will keep it in mind. We agree with the child. And we will keep it." She touched the belly. Roy looked at her belly where she touched. He said, "I know. But I promised Levi to help you find your happiness. So I can't help but wonder if you like anyone you are free to go. I will never hold you accountable for it." "You promise to Levi and I promise to myself. I will never let this child go. I know if I want to leave you, you will never let me have my child." Roy nodded and said, "Yes. No matter what, I cannot. Even if it means breaking my promise to Levi." Bella said, "Then let's not talk about it." "Yes. Let's go. We need to reach our home." Both Bella and Roy went to their respective room and got luggage. Both came out of the apartment. Bella looked back at the apartment. It held her the happiest moment and the saddest moment of her life. She touched her bag. In which she had Levi's ring. Which he used to propose to her. She looked back again and said, "Rest in peace." And started to walk forward to her unknown destination.
