"Zen"
I smiled bitterly at him.
He doesn't care about about me, not even a bit.
His expressions turned cold.
"I assume you have heard everything..."
"I did... Congratulations!"
I gulped down my tears. No way in hell, I am going to show him that he affects me.
"I didn't know you wanted a child..."
He sighed.
"I don't want to see your emotional drama..."
Sharp pain tucked in my heart.
"I love Mila and she is carrying my child... She will stay with us from now on..."
I forced a smile.
"I don't care, Zen... Your life, your house... Do whatever you want..."
I will not show him my weakness and pain. He don't deserve it. He never deserved it. He will not see my tears.
"See, I told you..."
He looked at mila.
"She doesn't care..."
"I want to go home, Zen... If you are busy, I'll take the cab..."
I said, I am in no mood to see their romance.
"Come with us..."
I frowned at mila's fake sweet smile.
"I mean it's too late, it's not safe outside... We are going home anyway, isn't it honey?..."
She smiled at Zen.
"Whatever... Let's go..."
Zen replied.
"I'll take the cab... Thanks for your concern, Mila..."
I don't need their fake mercy. I can take care of myself.
"Great!... Let's go sweetheart"
Zen didn't even look at me before grabbing his keys and leading Mila out.
This is the man I once loved. I should be ashamed of my choice.
I grabbed my purse and headed outside. I really don't want to go to that house. It will break me more. I blinked my tears back.
It's burning inside. I was nothing but loyal and good with him and he doesn't even care about me.
Their car crossed my path while I was waiting for the cab. Wow! My life is really fucked up. If it wasn't for my brother, I would have killed Zen at this moment.
My cab finally arrived and I got inside. I don't understand what did I do to deserve this treatment. I was good with everyone but life has given me nothing except pain and humiliation.
And I have to endure it one more year. Tears slipped from my eyes just with the thought.
I can't take it. Staying in that house for one year and watching them is too much.
God! Please do something.
I yelped and quickly put my hands on the front seat when cab suddenly came to the halt.
"What are you doing?"
I frowned at the driver.
"Sorry, ma'am... I am extremely sorry..."
The aged driver looked at me with apologetic face.
"I don't know what happened... I need to check it. Please wait inside..."
I nodded and sat inside, not like I am eager to go home.
I looked outside, lines of shops and hotels. Most of the shops are closed but clubs are open. Then I realised it am in front of the famous club of the city.
Night just has started for the people, I wish I could live a life like this. Carefree and rebellious but neither my life nor my profession allows me this. It's been so long that I have had drinks.
"Ma'am, I am so sorry, it's some technical problem and I have to call mechanic..."
The driver said and I sighed.
"It's okay... I'll cancel the ride and will call another one."
I don't want to argue with the old man. I don't like it.
"Ma'am"
He looked at me with conflicted face.
"Please don't cancel the ride..."
He requested.
"My four rides have been cancelled today and if this data went to the company then I will loose my job... Please don't cancel the ride... It's a matter of five minutes... If you can wait... Please, I really need this job."
I sighed.
"Okay"
As I said I will rather spend my night in this car instead of going to that house, to hear them moan.
My eyes darted towards the club again. I can grab a drink until he fixes the car, at least it will help me to distract my mind from that.
I got out and walked towards the car. Enough for living suffocated life. If he doesn't care about this marriage then neither do I. Enough of being loyal and a good wife.
Thankfully bouncers didn't stop me because of my clothes, I am wearing simple jeans and speghetti top. Winter hasn't started yet so I guess I can enjoy my summer clothes till then.
Club doesn't look that crowded, may be because it's Monday night. I went to the bar and ordered my drink.
This club is really good, no wonder it's famous. Expensive perfumes and clothes are wandering everywhere.
"Anything else beautiful..."
Bar tender grabbed my attention.
Beautiful! It's been long since someone has flirt with me.
"Umm No! Thank you... Bill please..."
I can't drink more, I have to attend patients tomorrow.
"Bill is already paid."
He informed making me frown.
"Paid by whom?"
Who is paying my bill. It's been only five minutes that I have entered the club.
"I don't know"
He shrugged and started attending other customers.
I looked at the drink conflicted, should I drink this or not. What if someone has spiked it.
I deal with rape patients almost everyday.
"You can drink it..."
Husky whisper and rich perfume gave me deja vu. Oh God!
"It's safe..."
I can feel his presence behind me. He is here, he was watching me. He paid for my drink.
I gulped before turning around on my stool. There he is, standing in front of me like he owns the club. Caging me between the counter and his huge body. He left hospital few hours ago and now he is here like he wasn't in the hospital for a month.
"Mr. Volkov..."
He was the last thing I wanted to encounter this night.
I am already weak. I am on verge of breaking all the rules and limits and this man standing in front of me will do nothing but push me from the edge.
I traced the rim of the glass while looking at it like it's the most attractive thing while in reality it's in front of me.
"Thanks for the drink..."
I mumbled as that weird feeling coiled around my chest again.
He didn't say anything and stood in front of me like he is waiting for the answer.
What should I tell him?
That my body is more than ready but my mind isn't. He is handsome and as Mrs. Larson said that he is not a one woman man. I can have a safe one night stand with this handsome man but am I ready?
The husband I was waiting for is already fucking his pregnant girlfriend and here I am, debating on my own life. It should be my choice because it's my life. Right?
I placed the rim of glass on my lips and finished the drink in one gulp.
It wasn't alcohol, it was mocktail. I looked at him confused.
He leaned forward and placed his hands on both sides caging me between his arms. I didn't lean back as his lips stopped few inches away from mine.
"I want you sober when I claim you..."
His voice made my heart skip a beat.
Claim you?
He definitely has a different way of flirting but I still didn't understand the meaning of 'claim'.
Maybe it's a new way to make girls feel special, I don't know.
"You look so sure that I will agree"
I placed the empty glass on the counter and our hands touched. He is still caging me against the counter.
"Not sure... I am confident"
His breath fanned my cheek.
He is intoxicating me with his close presence.

Before I could complete my words he slammed his lips on mine. I was taken a back by his action.
My hands flew to his chest, to push him away or to pull him closer, I don't know.
But the way his lips devoured mine, I liked it. His warm tongue and faint taste of whisky is setting my mind on fire. His tongue caressed mine, teasing me. Woman inside me was craving for this attention.
Then he broke the kiss, it was just for mere seconds like he is giving me the hint of this night but it drove me crazy.
His alluring eyes pinned me down as he tried to touch my arm.
"I know you want___"
This time it was my turn to cut his words. I slammed my lips on his with the same wildness.
He recovered from the shock quickly than me and grabbed my arms to pull me closer.
Fuck it! Fuck Zen and Fuck all limits.
If no one cares about me then I don't care about anyone. Enough of being good obedient wife. From now on, I'll live the life on my conditions.
I let him Dominate the kiss and gave into the sinful night.
