"Master! Are you okay?!"
Returning to the Bright Sun City, Xuan Hao saw Qing Yi running over with an anxious look on her face as she looked up and down Xuan Hao's body. Making sure he was not injured.
"Yes, I'm fine. The guy from the Black Rose Sect ended up getting away… Apparently he had a friend close by." Sighing as he thought about the earlier chase, Xuan Hao felt quite embarrassed.
If it were not for him fearing that him using his sword to fly, causing the Raging Flame Sect to find out he was the one who injured one of their elders, Xuan Hao would have used this method to catch up to the black robed man after he failed to catch up to him at the start.
Honestly, Xuan Hao still felt surprised at the speed of the black robed man, even 2 small realms below him, he had still managed to slip away…
When he got back to the sect, Xuan Hao swore to himself that he would find a movement technique to train in.
"W-what will happen to my family now!" Realizing that the black robed man had gotten away and knew her family's location, Qing Yi shivered slightly as she looked hopingly up at her master. Hoping that he had a solution.
"…From what I heard, they seem to be busy with something else at the moment and would most likely not have the time to send people over to deal with your Qing family. After all, even if the Qing family is weak to a power like the Black Rose Sect, it still has quite a few Core Formation cultivators and is inside the Flying Sword Sects territory." Thinking about it for a moment, Xuan Hao patiently answered his disciples worry.
"I see…" Qing Yi slightly lowered her head as she looked sadly at the ground.
If only I was stronger…
This thought appeared inside of Qing Yi's mind as she thought about the danger that the Black Rose Sect presented to her and her family.
If only she was strong enough, the Black Rose Sect would not dare to attack her family, even when she was not there.
"Master let's go back to the sect! I want to grow stronger!"
Clenching her fists and looking up at her master, Qing Yi's eyes shone brightly as she innocently told her master about her desire.
"But Yiyi, you only just came back…" From the side Qing Yang, Qing Yi's father, put on a sad face as he looked at Qing Yi.
"I will never grow stronger if I just stay here and there will always exist the danger from the Black Rose Sect if I don't grow strong enough and the Black Rose Sect ends up sending someone to deal with the Qing family… I don't dare to just stay here and waste my time…" Looking at her fathers sad face, Qing Yi bit her lower lip as she told him.
"Hah… Fine… Just make sure you come back to visit from time to time!" Qing Yang knew what Qing Yi said was true, no matter what, her master could not stay here and safeguard them all the time and even if they had the support of the Flying Sword Sect, who was to say that the Black Rose Sect would not secretly wipe out their Qing family?
Even if the Black Rose Sect were dealt with in the future, who is to say some other power would not come along and wipe out the Qing family?
Only when they had someone strong to defend them would they truly be able to hold their head high and not fear being wiped out by a passing Nascent Soul expert…
"…" Xuan Hao silently watched as the father and daughter duo talked with each other without interrupting them.
Qing Yi's desire to grow stronger had grown and she had truly felt how hopeless she was in front of the expert from the Black Rose Sect, even her master did not manage to kill the black robed man in the end!
What would have happened if her master were just a little slower to act and safe her? What if her master were not there, would the black robed man have cared about her being a member of the Flying Sword Sect?

After all, it was widely known that the Flying Sword Sect and the Raging Flame Sect was currently battling it out with each other and could only spare to send out so many people, lest the Raging Flame Sect takes advantage of it and launches an attack.
"Great, then let's leave immediately!" Seeing the determination that Qing Yi was currently showing, Xuan Hao decided to leave immediately, as she might change her mind to stay a little longer if they waited until the next day.
Better strike while the iron was hard, Xuan Hao decided that he would impart Qing Yi some insights in her cultivation realm along the way. Hopefully, she would be able to absorb them better with her current state of mind.
Qing Yi did not refuse as both of them soon left the Bright Sun City under the increasingly loud crying noises of a certain father.
"Let's get going then." Xuan Hao said as they came to a forest besides the Bright Sun City. The forest was only a few kilometres away from the city, but Xuan Hao knew that the chances of them being seen taking off was small and the faster they could get going the faster they would be able to get back to the Flying Sword Sect!
Xuan Hao had still not forgotten how a certain shadow hawk had thrown them off mid-air and flown away without a care in the world.
When he got back to the Sect, Xuan Hao would make sure he got his revenge!
With that, Qing Yi and Xuan Hao both jumped on top of Xuan Hao's sword as it quickly lifted into the air and flew away.
Qing Yi held onto her master as she slowly turned around and looked at the Bright Sun City disappearing in the distance.
I will definitely become stronger! Strong enough to deal with anything that threatens my family!
Thinking about this, Qing Yi listened to her master.
Not forgetting to memorise the teachings about the Foundation Establishment Realm that Xuan Hao started talking about the moment they reached a cruising altitude.
