The moment I entered the mall, all the people’s eyes diverted to me.
“Hey, look! It’s Xyna! She’s here again!”
“Yesterday they awarded her on Oscar’s again, isn’t she? She’s great!”
“Yes, eh, she gets multiple of awards every year. I always remember Ms. Angelina Jolie to her, hi-hi”
“Xyna is an epitome of beauty, and that she is very talented! She’s a goddess! No one can defeat my idol! Xynatics for the win!”
“Someone has issued again her, right? But I’m sure, my idol was not the one who started it! It’s always like that, isn’t it?”
I just rolled my eyes and ignored them. I’m used to them.
If you’re asking, how did they recognize me. Then think the obvious, I don’t wear any shitty disguising thing like mask, cap, and a sunglass. Why? Because it’s no need for that, I said that “they can scream until their voice’s disappeared, but I didn't allow them to ask me for a picture taking or autograph—they can’t go near me if it’s unnecessary or they will be sorry” on my interview. I got traumatized. Because the first time I went to a public place with a disguise, of course, they still able to recognize me. Then they started asking for a picture taking, autograph, etc and my bashers, start beating me. And I can’t even defend myself to all of ‘em, because they’re so many. So that’s why I decide that.
And by the way, I’m a martial artist. When I was young, I used to watch boxing series, until being a martial artist became my dream. My favorite of all is Hajime no Ippo and Vivid Strike. Why? Because in Hajime No Ippo, even the other boxers, especially his opponents, underestimate him before he turned ‘em down. While on Vivid Strike, Fuuka is the main protagonist, her goal is to defeat Rinne. But I just like Rinne more than Fuuka even though she’s only the second protagonist, because for me she’s the best. Rinne studied martial arts to be strong, unlike her old self the 3 girls always bullying her but she just let it pass but not until her beloved grandfather died and she didn’t even see him until the end of his life because the 3 bitch bullies didn’t allow her to let go. When she go to school after her grandfather died, she take her revenge on the 3 bullies, then she started her martial arts career. A fantastic story, isn’t it?
I was in the middle of walking towards the supermarket, when someone bump into me from behind that almost made me fell from the floor but my purse slip through my hands and fell on the floor, I was about to pick it up when a pale and veiny hand immediately picked it up for me.
He was about to bring it back to me when his glasses came out and the people noticed him and ran in his direction while screaming.
‘He looks familiar. I guess, he’s one of those famous actors. Don’t blame me if I don’t really know him cause I don’t really give a damn about them’
Due to panic, he wasn’t able to bring my purse back and he also clumsily spilled his hot coffee on mine!
I winced and bit my lip so hard to stop screaming in pain.
‘That asshole, he didn’t even apologize!’
I snarled.
I chased after him. Why? First, he took my purse with him and I can’t go home without it because it has my car keys too. Second, he spilled his newly brewed coffee on mine. I won’t let it pass. For crying out loud, it almost burned my skin!
“Hey, give me back my wallet! You douchebag!” I shouted at him. He paused for a moment. I thought he was going to stop, but I didn’t expect him to be dragged me with him!
“Let’s settle things later!”
Since I could do nothing, I just let him dragged me.
Many people are chasing him—I mean us. I think it’s about 97% of the people in this mall are chasing us.
When we escaped from his so-called FANS, I immediately withdrew my hand and took my purse from him.
“Hey! Why did you drag me, you clumsy douchebag?” I said, while glaring at him.
“It’s also your fault. You chased me and shouted at me, so I have no choice but to drag you with me. Shouldn't you be thankful? You have been with someone as handsome as me,” he said while smirking confidently. My anger suddenly wants to burst out.
“Like I care about your face, asshole?! Who would be happy to be bump with an airhead person like you are, you took my purse, and you even clumsily spilled your coffee onto me! Who would be happy?! What if I took your bag that contains your money and car keys, then I’ll spill a newly brewed coffee to you? Let’s see if you won’t get annoyed! If you thank me after that, then you need to be confined in a mental institution!” I shrieked.
He looked amused. But he immediately recovered and smirked again.
His smirk’s getting me more pissed as time passes by.
If my patience runs out with this man, I might make him a punching bag.
“Woah, relax, Alegre. Don’t you know me or remember me?” he said confidently. My forehead creased.
He is kinda familiar but I don’t remember his name, well like I care?
“I’m sorry, mister, but I don’t know you. And if I don’t know a person, there’s only one explanation. I don’t care about that person I don’t care about you.” I said and rolled my eyes.
He looked surprise and confused.
“Are you serious? You don’t recognize this handsome face?” he said, pointing at his face at the same time.
Oh, men! He’s getting more cocky!
“Are you deaf or just stupid? I told you I don’t know you! I don’t know anyone...” I stopped and looked at him from head to foot.
“Looks like what? Looks like a god—” I cut off what he was going to say because I know he’ll just brag again.
I smirked and said the words I know he doesn’t want to hear. “I don’t know anyone who looks like a gorilla.”
I see his eyes got widened, like what I expected.
“Me?! A gorilla?! Your eyes might be vague. This face is fantasizing by a lot of women and gays and envied by men and lesbians, there’s only a few people with this kind of face in the world!” Seriously? Doesn’t he feel goosebumps while saying that? Or at least feel shame?
“Doesn’t you feel goosebumps while saying that? Men! Try to be humble even a little sometimes. And about me getting a vague vision because I don’t really adore your face. Well, I’m not the one who has the vague vision here, it’s theirs. Because they didn’t see how disgusting your attitude was.” I said straightforwardly.
“Hey, you’re so mean to me, Xyna. Don’t you know you are the only person who said that to me? You’re making my self-esteem down.” he pouted.
“Well, must be thankful for myself. I make your overflowing confidence down a bit. Maybe you learn how to be humble Mr. I-don’t-care-who-you-are”
“Hey, don’t call me like that! I have a name. I am the super-handsome-most-excellent-actor Dwyne”
When I heard his name, I stunned. Where do I hear that name? Wait—
“Ah, so that man is you. They said he is handsome but looks like they’re wrong. All I can see is the face of a gorilla?” I simpered and snickered.
“What—” I put my index finger on his lips to silence him. He’s too noisy for a man. Immature.
“By the way, I’ll take my leave now. Talking with an airhead idiot like you is just a waste of time. It’s okay if you didn’t apologize for messing with my t-shirt, after all we’re even because I mocked your so-called handsome face. Bye.” I said mockingly and leave.
I chuckled. He doesn’t seem used to being told that he’s ugly, maybe because all the people praising him so much to where he’d been an arrogant jerk, tsk!
I’ll always remember that the easiest way to piss an arrogant man is to insult his so-called handsome face.
