Fan Lao's expression darkened as he let out a sinister roar: "Blood Demon Hand!"
As his shout fell, the sky suddenly surged with fierce winds, carrying a faint scent of blood.
Everyone quickly raised their heads, and their faces changed in shock. Just above them, a massive, blood-colored hand—nearly two zhang wide—suddenly manifested and came crashing down toward the sword light.
Everyone stared in astonishment.
That massive blood hand was utterly powerless before the sword light. In an instant, it was obliterated.
The sword light pressed forward unabated, carrying with it a devastating momentum as it crushed toward Fan Lao.
Fan Lao's expression changed drastically. He had never imagined that his attack would be so utterly ineffective.
As the sword light drew near—
Fan Lao clenched his teeth and spat out a mouthful of blood essence. His eyes gradually turned crimson, and his shriveled hands grew even paler.
From the tips of his fingers, sharp, blood-red nails extended strangely, like razor-sharp blades.
His back trembled slightly as a surge of blood-colored energy erupted, enveloping the blood wings on his back. Instantly, his Dou Qi wings writhed and transformed, becoming longer and more grotesque.
Fan Lao's aura also surged once more.
Though he hadn't reached the level of a five-star Dou Huang, his strength now surpassed that of an average four-star.
And yet, the sword light had already reached him, slashing directly across his body.
Though this sequence of events seemed long, it all happened in the blink of an eye.
Streams of powerful blood-red Dou Qi burst from Fan Lao's pores. A crimson membrane of energy quickly condensed around his hand.
A brilliant light exploded from the blood mist, followed by a deafening roar that echoed across the sky. A terrifying energy storm erupted from the point of impact, engulfing everything in its path.
The overwhelming blood energy was instantly consumed by the radiant light.
A sharp, pained scream followed.
In the next moment, a blood-red beam shot out from the heart of the energy storm, with Fan Lao—now drenched in blood—charging toward Chen Mo like a mad beast.
"You little brat... I'll kill you!"
Fan Lao's bloodshot eyes bulged, his twisted face contorted with rage. His armor had been shattered, and over a dozen bloody holes riddled his body. His left arm had been torn to shreds.
What happened during the explosion remained a mystery.
But his cultivation had plummeted—from Dou Huang to Dou Wang.
Chen Mo's expression grew solemn.
The demonic sword, Mo Yan, had already shifted into its sword spirit form, standing protectively before him.
Just as Fan Lao was about to reach Chen Mo—
A sharp gust of wind whistled past Chen Mo's ears.
A massive purple serpent tail came sweeping in with immense force, smashing violently into Fan Lao's body.
Fan Lao's body plummeted like a meteor from the heavens, crashing into the sands below.
His life force vanished completely.
The sky fell eerily silent. Tu Ye, who had been battling against the three great Elders of the Snake-People, as well as Yin Shi and Du Qian Teng, turned pale and hastily withdrew.
Reina, having only been facing ordinary Snake-People soldiers, saw the situation turn and immediately retreated—even faster than Tu Ye.
Han Feng, who had been knocked from the sky by Queen Medusa, looked pale and shaken. He had severely underestimated her strength. Now, with Jia Xingtian and Fan Lao both dead...

With that, her figure turned into a crimson flash and shot forward.
The five Snake-People powerhouses immediately gave chase without hesitation.
Five streaks of light, each carrying an imposing aura, tore through the sky and disappeared beyond the horizon.
The night was slightly cool.
The vast desert was filled with howling winds and sweeping sand.
In the midst of the darkness, a lone figure sped through the air, the powerful wind pressure carving a shallow groove in the sands below.
But just moments later, the wind filled with sand erased all traces of his path.
Soon after, three more streaks of light followed in hot pursuit, leaving behind three more marks in the freshly swept sand.
Yuan Yi glanced back at the crimson silhouette behind them, his expression turning grim. "Tu Ye! We need to split up!"
With that, he turned into a streak of green light and fled in another direction.
Tu Ye nodded and chose a different path as well.
Reina's expression was sour—he felt abandoned. With no better option, he fled in the direction of the Jia Ma Empire.
Moments later, the red light arrived.
The sand below exploded into a deep trench from the force of the descent.
Queen Medusa didn't even glance in the direction Yuan Yi and the others fled—her attention was locked on Han Feng as she continued her pursuit.
Shortly after, five more figures arrived.
Yin Shi looked out across the diverging trails and asked the First Elder, "Who should we chase?"
"Mere Dou Wangs are of no concern. We pursue the Dou Huang," the First Elder replied in his hoarse voice.
On the city wall of the Snake-People's capital—
The Snake-People soldiers were cleaning up the battlefield. Though none of their high-ranking members had perished in this battle, they had suffered heavy casualties among their troops.
After retrieving Fan Lao's spatial ring, Chen Mo sat cross-legged on the wall, regulating his breathing and recovering his Dou Qi.
Yue Mei swayed her supple snake waist as she approached, her green serpent tail lightly flicking behind her. A flirtatious smile graced her face.
"Hehe, now you've finally fallen into big sis's hands. You're not getting away this time..."
She flipped her hair playfully and bent down slightly, her fingers trailing along Chen Mo's cheek before pinching his chin and gently lifting it.
This human had taken advantage of her more than once. This time, she was going to tease him back.
Chen Mo eyed her curvaceous figure as she leaned forward and sneered, "Big boobs, small brain—it really is true. Mo Yan, say hello to her."
The demonic sword resting beside him instantly shifted into its sword spirit form and knelt on one knee before Chen Mo.
