Queen Medusa narrowed her eyes slightly as she stared at the red koi-patterned bandeau.
"What do you think?" she asked coldly.
"I think it looks really nice. The color suits you well. Just look at how delicate the embroidery is," Chen Mo commented.
"So, Your Majesty, why don't you try it on? I'm sure it'll look amazing on you," Chen Mo said with a cheeky smile.
"You really dare to say anything, human." A cold glint flashed through Queen Medusa's eyes.
Chen Mo continued, "If it's inconvenient for you, I don't mind helping you put it on."
"I mind," Queen Medusa snapped, spinning around and glaring at Chen Mo with eyes full of menace. She grabbed the koi-patterned bandeau and tossed it into his face.
Just as Chen Mo thought she was about to erupt in fury, she suddenly muttered under her breath, "It's too small."
Then, she turned her back to him again.
Chen Mo froze for a second, then sat up slightly and glanced down. He picked up the red bandeau, examined it, and measured with his hands.
It really did seem too small.
Damn it, he'd underestimated the situation.
Wearing something too tight might hinder her development...
No wonder Her Majesty was angry.
No way—she definitely can't wear this.
It's trash. Trash belongs in the trash bin.
Chen Mo stashed it into his storage ring.
A short while later, he took out a different piece of clothing—a red plum blossom-patterned dudou (traditional Chinese undergarment).
He nervously placed it in front of Queen Medusa again and smiled somewhat awkwardly.
"Your Majesty, what about this one? Does it look good?"
Queen Medusa took it and gave it a glance.
If the bandeau inspired endless fantasies...
Then this dudou, with so much coverage—what could it possibly do?
Queen Medusa looked back at Chen Mo's expectant expression.
Then tossed the red dudou back at him and turned her head away without a word.
Chen Mo immediately understood and, holding the dudou, reached beneath her arm to help her wear it. His fingers brushed against skin as smooth as mutton-fat jade.
Queen Medusa's long lashes trembled ever so slightly.
As Chen Mo admired her enchanting curves, he swallowed hard. Just as he was about to untie the bandeau's ribbon, Queen Medusa suddenly grabbed his hand.
Without turning her head, she said coldly, "What do you think you're doing?"
"Aren't I helping you put on the dudou?" Chen Mo blinked.
"Then why are you untying the bandeau?"
"Well, if I don't untie it—wait, don't tell me you expect me to put the dudou over the bandeau?" Chen Mo had a bad feeling.
"What else?" Queen Medusa replied with a teasing smirk at the corner of her lips.
As expected, Queen Medusa wasn't going to make it that easy for him.
She really knew how to mess with him.
Though she couldn't see Chen Mo's face, she could tell he must be feeling pretty frustrated. With amusement in her tone, she said,
"So, are you going to help me or not? If not, forget it."
Even if things didn't go exactly as he imagined, just seeing Queen Medusa wear a dudou was already a visual feast.
Chen Mo's eyes wandered over her graceful form. He passed the dudou's left strap under her other arm, tied it carefully behind her jade-like back.
Now that Queen Medusa was only half-covered, her allure was even stronger.
This time, it wasn't Chen Mo asking Queen Medusa. It was the other way around.
Chen Mo immediately hugged her from behind, gently running his hand over the dudou.
As long as he didn't cross the line, Queen Medusa wouldn't stop him. Her tone was cold but calm,
"What goes on in your head all day? It feels like you've been getting more perverted lately."
"A graceful lady is admired by gentlemen. Your Majesty, this isn't perversion—it's a sign of my love for you," he said, pretending to look wronged.
How could she slander his pure intentions?
"Heh, are you even a gentleman?"
If I weren't, I'd have done much more than this already, Chen Mo thought darkly.
But on the surface, he just smiled innocently.
Queen Medusa didn't argue with him.
Because arguing with a scoundrel was a lost cause.
She simply said, "Can we sleep now?"
"Yeah, yeah. Let's sleep."
Chen Mo gently pulled her over to face him, then brought her into his arms, resting her head on his chest.
He wrapped his arms around her soft figure, resting his chin on her fragrant shoulder.
Then whispered in her ear, "Your Majesty, did you wipe off that medicinal lip balm from before?"
Queen Medusa, sensing that he clearly wasn't planning to sleep, replied immediately, "Yes, I wiped it off."
"Then I'll apply it again." Chen Mo acted as if he were pulling out the balm from his ring. "This time I'll use the green fruit flavor."

"Can you not sleep? Can you? If not, then go sleep by yourself."
A hint of embarrassment and frustration flashed in Queen Medusa's eyes.
"Yes, yes, I can sleep."
Chen Mo thought, Wiped off or not, I'm still going to kiss you.
He gently lifted her translucent chin and kissed her.
Several seconds later, he let her go and looked at her alluring face just inches away, sounding a little disappointed.
"Your Majesty... you lied to me, didn't you?"
Clearly, she hadn't wiped it off.
"You have some nerve! Touching me without permission again—mmpf!"
Chen Mo silenced her with another kiss.
Queen Medusa shoved Chen Mo away.
Chen Mo's expression changed, expecting to be pummeled.
To his surprise, Queen Medusa flipped over and pressed him down, her jade-like hand gripping his throat.
"Your Majesty, calm down—please calm down!"
Chen Mo was terrified. He thought she was going to kill him.
"Hand it over!" Queen Medusa said coldly.
"Hand what over?" Chen Mo froze.
Chen Mo was even more confused. What did she want the lip balm for?
But survival came first, so he quickly handed over all three flavored lip balms.
"Which one's the Phoenix Sun Fruit flavor?" Queen Medusa asked next.
What Chen Mo didn't notice was that her cold tone had suddenly softened.
"This one," he said, pointing at the small, finely decorated box.
Queen Medusa gave it a glance, opened it, and without using the brush, dipped her finger into the balm.
Then, she gently applied it to Chen Mo's lips.
The balm was clearly meant for women.
It was bright red—basically lipstick.
What the hell is this? I'm a man!
He was about to resist when—
Queen Medusa's next move made him give up entirely.
In his heart, he silently muttered:
Fine... let this young master try all three flavors.
As Queen Medusa kissed him again of her own accord, Chen Mo wrapped one arm around her waist, the other holding her head close.
So this... is Queen Medusa?
