"Let's go," she said flatly.
"Right away!" Chen Mo eagerly stepped forward and reached for her waist.

Chen Mo didn't give her a chance to refuse. He wrapped his arm around her slender waist.
With cheeks burning, Queen Medusa gritted her teeth, grabbed him, and turned into a streak of red light that flew toward her bedchamber.
Once inside, she dropped him and immediately pushed his hand away. "So, what's the surprise?"
"Can't I tell you while we're in bed?" Chen Mo asked with a mischievous grin.
Queen Medusa's expression turned frosty. "Not another outfit for me to try on, is it?"
So that's what she thought of him?
Without another word, he scooped her up and gently carried her to the soft couch. "Queen baby, I promise this time the surprise is actually serious."
"You always bring serious things," she said coolly, wrapping her arms around his neck. "But you—I'm not so sure about."
After gently laying her down, Chen Mo kicked off his shoes and with a roll, positioned himself over her.
"You sure about that?" she asked, staring coldly into his eyes.
And then—he kissed her.
After some time, Chen Mo lay beside her, took out a small jade bottle from his backpack, and handed it to her. "Here, take a look."
Queen Medusa's lips were slightly swollen. She accepted the bottle half-doubtfully, pulled out the stopper, and peeked inside.
Suddenly—a powerful, ancient pressure erupted from within, nearly suffocating her.
