Tory's POV
Dealing with Nate had made things super easy for me. He didn't bother me for fear of me exposing his secret and I was super thrilled about it.
It's been three days yet Nate did nothing. Today being Thursday, we didn't put on uniforms but instead wore casual clothes.
Rachel had ditched school after lunch to go have fun with Jake. So I was all alone figuring out how to prepare for the fundraiser which I was already losing interest in.
At the close of school, I stayed back to make a list of alternative places to host the fundraiser, since the place I had earlier planned on using was already booked.
Tired from all the browsing I was doing on my phone, coupled with hunger, I decided to go over to Rex's place.
He and I have been doing amazing, we didn't go on dates though, Rex said it wasn't his thing, instead, we either saw each other in our houses and ate, talked a little, have sex, have sex again.... Actually, I still don't think our relationship is serious enough.
It's almost like whenever I want to talk with him, he hypnotizes me with his seduction, and then we're back to sex.
Plus, since Tia's pregnancy I have started thinking twice about our regular sex, I don't know how to tell Rex and I want to keep sex to the barest minimum without him getting mad and thinking he doesn't satisfy me sexually.
How did I even get here? A year ago, I was pretty sure Rex and I would never happen, then a month ago, I wanted to make us happen, though I expected it'll take some time, but now in a few weeks I started dating Rex.
I really can do anything if I put my heart to it. Can't I?
I walked down the stairs and got a text, sighing I brought it out of my bag and kept walking. It was a text from Rachel " we had so much fun, Tory. You're such an amazing friend, thank you for talking me into this!" The message said and I giggled.
I was about to text a reply when someone pushed me into the janitor room and locked me inside.
" Hey!" I yelled as I banged the door.
A burst of high pitched laughter silenced me, it was Isabella.
" Awww, too bad your boyfriend's not here you'd have been banging each other in there"
" Isabella, get me outta this room right now. What the hell is wrong with you?!"
" This is revenge for stealing my boyfriend!"
" Excuse you? You're the one who dumped him in the first place!"
" I'm not talking about Rex you bitch!"
" Nate? That's disgusting! How could you imagine something so gross! I'm not dumb like you who prefers to date a foul idiot like Nate!" Retorted.
" Wow, I'm so gonna make sure that janitor Luis never finds the keys to this place" she said dryly. I huffed out a frustrated breath and looked for my phone, I needed to make a call to the janitor.
" Shit, where's my phone?"
" Ummm... What's your password?" Isabella asked and I realized that it must've fallen from my hands.
" Don't you dare!"
" Easy, it's gonna be Rex" she said and I hit my forehead making a mental note to make my password a little less obvious.
" I'm assuming you have a couple of naked photos for your boyfriend, I'll do you a favor and help you send them to all the guys at school who want to see that gross body of yours"
"Oh shit! I did take some naughty pictures of myself....oh thank goodness, I deleted it right after " I said sarcastically and she laughed.
" I see, well, I better send Rex a breakup text on your behalf"
" Bella give me the phone and the keys!" I heard Nate say and heaved a sigh of relief that he was actually working for my good for once.
" Why should I? You don't really wanna help her do you?"
" No, I don't, I'll take it from here"
" If you help her Nate, I swear I will tell everyone about your disorder"
" Fucking give me it!" Nate roared and she whimpered before I heard the sound of her heels getting distant.
" Bitch" I heard Nate curse.
" Please can you let me out?" I said when he didn't open the door.
" Uhh... No"
" Nate!"
" Oh look!" He said in a high pitched voice and I recoiled at her stupid he sounded.
" Rachel sent a text, " girl, we are at Harry's five-star restaurant. Jake and I just ordered some seafood and a bunch of other stuff I've never had before" " Nate said still in his girly voice.
If the circumstances were different, I would've laughed but being locked in the janitor's room wasn't funny.
" Nate, stop looking through my messages!"
" Damn you and Rex are such idiots, look at all these lovely dovy texts!" He said with so much disgust in his voice.
" Shut up! Let me out already"
" You know, Harry's five-star restaurant has a very secret recipe forr the seafood Jake and Rachel are going to eat today"
" You also stalk Rachel and Jake?"
" As I was saying..." He said ignoring me.
" Those guys always add grounded shrimp and sprinkle it around the seafood, it's crazy because I never knew that it was shrimp. Tasted fucking good"
" I'm not in the mood to talk to you, let me out!" I yelled, banging the door.
I suddenly stopped banging the door, realizing what Nate just said.
" D-did you say shrimp?"
" Are you deaf now?" He said a little irritated.
" No no no no! Rachel can't eat that!"
" Why?"
" She's fatally allergic to it!"
" Nice try Tory" he said with a chuckle.
" Nate please"
" Look she already sent a text that she's eating. She says it's great. I think she's doing a good job since she's giving you update on how a date is - you know since you've never had one"
I didn't hear the rest of the things he said, I was having a panic attack because the last time Rachel accidentally ate a very small portion of shrimp was at my house a year ago and it was a miracle she survived.
If she's eaten a large chunk of food subtly covered in shrimp then she's probably not gonna make it! Just as I had crouched on the floor crying, I had an idea.
" Nate please tell her not to eat any more of it!"
" Leave her alone Tory, don't be a date pooper"
Why is Nate so stubborn!
