I guess it was all over now. I have been proven innocent and I can finally get the hell out of this pack.
"Am I free to leave now?" I asked, already getting suffocated just by staying here and listening to all the hypoctical comments of all the same people who were cursing at me and looking at me disdainfully last week.
"Yes," Elder Logan replied and I stood up. I wanted to go and wait in the car till Dante and Nathan were done here so we could go back when Nathan's voice made me to stop..
"Well, we are not done here. That's not all." I turned around to face Nathan, curious about what else he had to say.
"There is still one more issue that we need to resolve," he said loudly so everyone could hear him.
"Nathan, what are you talking about??" Dante asked and Nathan pointed at the entrance of the square.
Three men walked into the square, two of them dragging the third in forcefully. I recognized the man instantly. It was the prison guard- the one that raped me and accused me of forcing myself on him.
Why did Nathan bring him here? He was dragged up to the podium and he glanced at me without a trace of emotion in his eyes..
"What is happening here??" Dante asked. If my guess was right, then he had not heard news about what happened to me.
I didn't know that and now I was anxious about how he would react if he knew that I had been sexually molested.
"What is this about?" Elder Logan asked.
"It is about the disgusting things this man here did and the lies he told against Natasha," Nathan said.
"What is he talking about?" Dante walked closer to me and asked.
He looked so curious and I didn't know how I was supposed to answer me.
"If you are referring to the time when Natasha tried to seduce him, then you have to know that everyone saw it with their eyes," Elder Logan said.
"What?!" Dante exclaimed quietly, but it was just loud enough for me to hear him.
"Everything you saw was a lie. She was framed up by this disgusting pervert," Nathan said and I saw Dante's fist slowly clench tightly.
"And he is going to confess by himself today," Nathan said.
"Corey, can you tell us what really happened on that day?" Elder Logan asked.
I glanced at the other Podium in the square and saw that the fire on the stake was already dying out. Alpha Jack stood there watching all everything that was happening with lack of interest in his eyes.
Alyssa deceived him and wrapped him around her finger, but I didn't pity him a bit. He should have seen all the signs from when I first held his compass and all the accusations I made against Alyssa.
He probably didn't want to believe it because of this same issue. He didn't want to have a mate who was a "Whore"
I looked at my dad who was still on his knees on the ground, not making the slightest move or sound. He was sobbing on the inside.
"I was drunk that day and I met Nastaha alone at the forest entrance," he said..
"So did you or did you not force yourself on her that day?" Nathan quickly asked before Elder Logan could talk..
"I di......Did n..." Corey stuttered, groaning. He looked as if he was struggling with himself.
"I don't have to answer that question. Everyone saw what happened," he quickly said and I sighed in frustration.
He would keep denying it. I have already tried so hard to forget that incident, but bringing it up again was only going to stir up more humiliation for me.
"Answer the question. Did you?" Nathan asked again, but Corey refused to open his mouth and talk.
Dante suddenly pulled out a knife and he held it to Corey's throat. I stood up and everyone began to murmur loudly.
"Answer the question he just asked you!" Dante bellowed.
"Dante, you cannot do this. You're pressuring him to talk and whatever he says will not count," Elder Logan said.
"I don't care. I'm gonna kill him!" Dante retorted, pressing the knife tighter to Corey's neck.
"I fed him truth weed," Nathan said.
"That is why he has been avoiding answering the question so he cannot lie," Nathan added and I now understood why Corey was struggling with what to say earlier.
"Did he feed you with truth weed?" Elder Logan asked.
"Y.....Yes...." Corey replied with a shaky voice, staring down at the silver blade by his throat.
"Then answer the damn question!" Dante threatened and the silver knife slowly began to tear the outer skin of his neck.
"Yes, I forced myself on her!" He quickly said and he gasped as Dante took the knife again.
"But I was drunk. I swear I didn't know what I was doing," he said apologetically and I scoffed, tears welling up in my eyes.
"Yet, after you sobered up, you left her half naked for everyone to see," Nathan retorted and Corey didn't say a word again.
Corey slowly walked backward and Dante suddenly grabbed him by the collars. He kicked his crotch and Corey groaned in pain, bending back.
Dante grabbed his neck and lifted him up before smashing him to the ground, causing Corey to cry out in pain.
He kicked him at his side and Corey folded himself up.
"Forgive me," Corey cried and tried to crawl away, but Dante bent down and dragged his legs. Corey cried as his body scratched the floor.
"Forgive you?" Dante pulled him up to his feet and threw a punch in his face.
"As much as I wish to end you right now, I don't think death is enough punishment for you," Dante gritted his teeth.
"I'm going to make sure that you can never so what you did to any lady ever again!" Dante bellowed and I knew that the implication of that statement was that Corey would be castrated.
