Flashback
"Alright. I have to go now," my dad said and he cut the call. I glanced at the door of the clinic as one a man I recognized as one of the guards at the estate's gate walked in.
He walked towards me and I stood where I was to hear what he wanted to say.
"Sir, General Silas is at the gate and he wants to come in," he said and I rolled my eyes.
"Do you really have to come ask me that?!" I yelled at him in anger.
"You saw his daughter rushed in injured so of course, he has the right to come and see her!" I yelled at him again and I felt Nathan touch my shoulder from behind.
"Dante, relax and take a deep breath," Nathan said, but I shrugged to shake his hand off my shoulder.
"Go let him in," Nathan said and the guard nodded before walking away. I sighed deeply again and leaned on the wall. I was tired and my inside hurt from all the silver dust I inhaled.
I jerked up with a cough before leaning on the wall too.
"Dante, you have to get yourself checked up too," Nathan said, and I shook my head.
"No, I'm fine. I'll worry about myself when I'm sure that Kiara is alright," I said and I looked at the door of the clinic as Silas and Nigel walked in.
Silas was wearing a long scarlet robe that a tall neck and long styled sleeves. Nigel wore a long black coat over a black Jean.
"Dante, Where's Kiara?" Silas asked with his eyebrows etched into a worried frown.
I pointed at the door of the theatre and my lips quivered as I was too unstable to speak right now. That and the fact that my throat stung like hell.
"She's in the theater," Nathan replied on my behalf.
"Dante, what did you do to my sister?!" Nigel asked in anger and I simply closed my eyes, ignoring him. I didn't have the strength to talk or even get started with Nigel's tantrums.
"Don't you ignore me. What did you do to my sister?!" Nigel yelled at me and he suddenly grabbed the collars of my shirt tightly, pressing me against the wall.
"Nigel." Nathan moved forward and tried to push Nigel off me, but Nigel's large silver plated Vampire wings suddenly sprouted out of his back and he held the sharp plated tip to Nathan's neck.
"Nigel , behave yourself," Silas bellowed and Nigel roughly let go of me, his wings folding back in.
Nathan walked into a ward and be came out soon with plastic chairs stacked together. He unstacked the chairs and pushed one towards me, pushed another one to Silas.
He walked to Nigel and the two of them shared hateful glares with each other before Nigel roughly grabbed a chair from him and sat down.
I rested my head on the chair, occasionally glancing at the door of the theater and waiting for someone to come out with a feedback.
All of a sudden, I heard a loud blast outside and I stood up from the chair immediately.
What was that. I immediately ran to the door of the clinic so I could check what that was.
Hearing a whizzing sound in the air, and I immediately instinctively raised up my hand, catching an silver head arrow that was about me to hit me in the heart.
What the hell?!
"We are under attack!" I heard a guard scream and that instant, I felt the building of the clinic we were standing in shake violently and I held on to the door post to avoid loosing balance.
I looked in the direction of the gate to see that the guards had been overpowered and the gate was wide open.
I saw several men dressed in black heading towards the clinic and I instantly closed the door.
I looked around and saw Nathan holding a phone to his hear. He sighed and shook his head.
"I can't reach anybody, no one is picking up," Nathan said.
"What's this? Are you under attack?!" Silas asked and stood up. I nodded and shoved my hand into my air. They were dressed just like the man who had attacked at the ball.
"My duaghter is in the theater and vulnerable at the moment, how can you be under attack?!" Silas yelled in anger and immediately, the door of the clinic flung open.
They were six of them and they wearing gas masks. They must have decapitated the guards using silver dust too.
"Who are you? What do you want?" I asked, taking a defensive stance in front of them.
I watched as the one standing in the middle reached for his mask and he slowly pulled it off.
"Bastien?" I exclaimed in surprised tone. I didn't have to think twice to know the reason he was doing all of this.
"I kmow you," Silas said, pointing at Bastien. Bastien was a Vampire and he and Kiara had been in a relationship before we met.
"In the flesh," Bastien replied and my eyes flickered to his right hand that was tightly gripping a long silver sword.
"Are you the one who tried to have me and Kiara killed?" I asked the question even though the answer was quite obvious.
"If I can't have Kiara, no one else is going to," he replied and he suddenly raised up his sword in the air.
In the blink of an eye, Silas zoomed forward, moved me out of the way and stood between I and Bastien.
"Alright. Drop your weapons on the ground," Silas said in a smooth tone and I remembered that he was a True Vampire so he would be able to compell them.
Immediately, Bastien and the others began to take out every weapon they had on their bodies and they dropped it to the floor.
"Take off your masks and don't make any move until I tell you to," Silas added and the five other men with Bastien took off their masks.
Silas nodded and he turned around to face me.
"I do not like the kind of danger that my daughter gets into when she's around you," Silas said with a displeased tone.
"You asked me earlier if she can move here, well my answer is n-" Silas suddenly stopped talking and I gasped as I saw long blade sticking out of his heart.
"Dad!" Nigel shouted and rushed forward.
"You're not the only true Vampire around here," I heard Bastien say and he pulled out the sword from Silas, letting him collapse to the floor.
Nigel rushed at Bastien, but Bastien suddenly kicked him and sent him flinging across the corridor.
"Someone already left to finish what I started on Kiara, but I'm gonna enjoy killing you myself," Bastien said, flaunting his blood stained sword in front of me.
What....what did he mean? My heart began to beat rapidly and I looked over my shoulder at the door to the theater.
Nigel immediately stood up from the floor where he landed and he ran into to the theater, kicking the door open.
The others who came with Bastien were still frozen where they were because of Silas' compulsion. They could move, but the compulsion made their brains believe that they can't.
I slowly moved backward and Bastien smirked, clamping his left hand on my shoulder to stop me from moving.
It was him against an and Nathan, but I was still affected by the silver poisoning and if he was really a True Vampire, then he would be so strong..
As I thought of what to do, I saw Bastien freeze in place as an arrow stuck out of his heart. Another arrow hit him in the heart from behind, and a third before Bastien's grip on my shoulder loosened and he fell to the floor.
I looked up to see my dad standing at the door with a gun that shot arrows and I suddenly turned around, running into the theater.
I froze as I got in and saw all the nurses and doctors lying dead on the ground.
"AaarrrghhHHH," Nigel screamed and he flipped a desk over in anger.
I looked at the heart rate monitor next to Kiara and looked at the flat line in shock. Kiara was a living Vampire so she should have a heart beat. I felt my knees go weak instantly and I fell on my knees in shock.
"Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!"
