"Dante, calm down, it's just a threat," Nathan said.
I was angry that they threatened me, I was angry that they thought I would be moved by their threat.
If they ever tried to anything to show their faces, I would see that I crush them like nothing.
"The Mystic Fangs Clan are stubborn, I'm certain that they would try to cause trouble," Nathan said and I nodded.
"I'll make things hard from them too I they do anything that's inappropriate," I said and I stood up from my seat.
"So let's go back home," I said and Nathan nodded. We both walked out of the office and went into the elevator.
As we got downstair I saw Viktor coming out of another elevator.
Our eyes meet and it's not lightly but I rolled my eyes and kept walking. He already pissed me off by acting almighty and turning down my invitation casually.
"You do know that you are only acting pissed off right now right?" Nathan asked and I fixed him not understanding what he meant I got. Actually I did but I didn't want to admit to that fact.
"Now that you know what he can do, you're going to face a little problem I'm going to make him solve it with compulsion," Nathan said and I rolled my eyes knowing that he was saying the truth.
Why bother when I could just force someone into willingly doing what I want.
Nathan open the door of the car, and he climbed into the driver's seat, starting the car. I climbed in next to him and shut the door before needs and drove onto the main road.
In 10 minutes we arrived at the pack, and Nathan brought the car to a slow out in front of the main pack mansion.
Just as I climbed down from the car, the entrance door of the mansion opened and Killian stepped out. It looked like something had happened and my eyebrows furrowed in curiosity.
"What happened?" I asked.
"I just found out that a family is missing," Killian replied and my forehead etched in concern.
"What?! What happened to them?" I asked and shut the door of the car.
"From what I heard they all went to watch a movie last night and they never came back," Killian replied and I began to think about what could have happened and the only thing my mind could think of we Rogues. They were the only bastards capable of doing something like that.
"So I had them check the security footage of the street outside the estates gate and I found something," Killian explained.
"They were driving back to the pack in their car, but before they could get to the gates they were intercepted by another car. I think it was Rogues," he said, confirming what I had to suspected.
"Do you know where the Rogues took them to?" I asked and Killian nodded in affirmation.
"Yes we were able to trace where their vehicle went to," he replied and I nodded, "good."
"Round up some men and do a retrieval mission. I and Nathan have somewhere to go," I stated.
"We do?" Nathan asked and I affirmed with a nod.
I waited for Kilian to leave before facing Nathan.
"Remember my plan to rid of the Rogues permanently?" I asked and Nathan thought about it for a while before sighing loudly and shaking his head.
"I thought you forgot about that. Seriously why do you want to go so does cunny magicians for help?" Nathan asked and I shrugged.
"The Petrova sisters. They are lone witches that help vampires and werewolves who need help for something," I explained and I stretch out my hands to take the car key from Nathan.
He handed it to me and I walked over to the other side opening the door and climbing into the driver's seat.
"So don't worry I'm not going to get us tangled with any Mage Coven," I said and I started the car.
Nitin remain standing where he was and I side looking out through the window.
"Are you coming or not? Cause I can very much go on my own," I said before later walked over to the other side and climbed into the car next to me.
I slowly reverse the car and drove onto the main road towards the estate's exit.
The Petrova sisters lived in a small house somewhere at the border of the city and it will take only a 20 minutes drive to get there.
"About the gala Viktor said would be holding next week-" Nathan said and as I drove away from a coming vehicle I faced him.
"Yes?"
"What if the Maverick Corps decides to push on with their threats because if they do the gala will be a perfect place to cause trouble," Nathan stated and I nodded in agreement.
"I think I'm going to have some of ouren from the pack stand nearby in watch on that day," I said realizing that needs and was actually right about that.
What's better way to cause trouble than to try and disrupt the gala that is supposed to finalize the agreement and get us introduced to the state government?
The two of us remain silent throughout the rest of the drive and in 25 minutes I could finally see the old house where the petrova sisters lived.
Just as I said the way people coming and driving in and out of the place, and I could since many of them to be Werewolves and Vampires.
Magic was really impressive, wasn't it?
The bastards had raw power at their fingertips, but they rarely ever showed themselves. Mages were the only one who truly had self-sustaining and independent communities.
Their Covens had everything they could ever need and there was no human government bothering them because their Covens existed in parallel realities that the human eyes couldn't see.
They were peaceful but still, those cunny creatures could never be trusted. Whenever they decided to rear their heads up, then it meant something big was at stake.
They always went after the big catch.
