Mate Bond

The image of seeing Alpha Jack kissing Alyssa earlier flashed through my head and I didn't feel anything, unlike how mad and possessive I felt when I first walked into Alyssa's room.
I could still remember all the emotions I felt at that time and it was overwhelming. I muttered the word Mate and I felt bonded to Jack, but like it never happened, all of that feeling disappeared at once when............
I moved away from the door instantly and went to sit on the edge of my bed.
All that feeling disappeared when......... when Alyssa snatched the compass from me.
I stood up from the edge of the bed immediately and I rested my palms on my waist.
I began to walk up and down the room as I thought about everything that happened since I awoke up to this moment.
I had been my normal sad self and I remembered swearing not to step out of this room to return Alpha Jack's compass because I wasn't ready to face anyone.
But the moment that I touched that compass, I had this strong urge to go out. I have hears from others that when you are to meet you mate, you might find yourself in a place you normally wouldn't go to or where you aren't supposed to be because of that pressing feeling.
When I held that compass, I forgot about all the consequences that would follow if I let people see me after what happened this morning and I just wanted to leave the room and return the compass.
But again when I was close to Alyssa's room, I felt urged to go in because I thought there was something important I needed to see there which was something I would normally never try.
When I entered, I felt possessive of Alpha Jack when I saw him kiss Alyssa and I felt the mate bond. He looked like he felt it too, but the instant Alyssa snatches the compass from me, all of that feeling disappeared.
There was something fishy going on. The feeling I felt then was real and Alpha Jack could be my mate. Before I could think any more about it, I looked at the door of my room fling open and Alyssa walked in angrily.
"You bitch. How dare you barge into my room!" Alyssa yelled at me angrily and I folded my arms across my chest.
"I didn't do it on purpose. I guess I had to meet my mate that's why," I retorted and Alyssa froze for a while.
I stared at her waiting for her response, and she suddenly burst into an hysterical laughter.
"Oh My God, Mate?!" She asked sharply and she burst into laughter again.
"Did you just call Alpha Jack your mate?!" She asked again and laughed again.
"You must really be out of your mind if you think that you have any sort of connection to Alpha Jack, my mate!" Alyssa yelled at me and I was dumbfounded to hear her call him her mate.
"What?" I asked in a soft voice and she laughed.
"Yes, you heard me right. Jack and I are mates and we were going to make it public soon," Alyssa continued with a smirk and I instantly became confused.
I know what I felt and I know it was real. Though it only lasted a short while, I felt it strongly and I know that Alpha Jack did too.
"Tell me, why did you snatch that Compass from me so quickly?" I asked with a confronting glare and Alyssa's went speechless for a while.
"Why? Tell me," I asked again.
"Because you interrupted us and I wanted you to leave quickly," Alyssa replied defensively.
"I didn't know there was something else when I had his coat taken off you," Alyssa added and she sounded regretful.
"Why did you do that? Alyssa what did you do?" I asked glaring at her.
"Don't you dare change the topic. How dare you barge into my room like that!" Alyssa yelled at me, quickly changing the topic..
She instantly charged at me and I raised up my hand to defend myself, but she kicked my arms and I lost balance, falling to the floor.
I grunted as I fell on my butt and the floor bruised my elbow.
Quickly, Alyssa charged at me again and she grabbed my hair, pulling it tightly. I screamed where I sat on the floor and tried to push her away, but she was behind me.
I tried to stand up, but she pushed my head, forcing me back to the floor.
"Alyssa, leave me alone!" I cried, but she continued tugging at my hair and shaking my head violently.
I used my hand to search the floor and I my finger finally touched my sandal. I stretched forward a bit and I grabbed the sandal. I threw my hand to the back so I could hit her with the sandal, but she quickly moved away and she let go of my hair. I reached for my head and rubbed it gently.
"The next time you barge into my room without my permission, I'm going to make you suffer," she threatened fiercely and kicked my foot as I tried to stand up.
She hissed and stormed out of my room in irritation.
I grunted and stood back up on my feet, sitting on the edge of the bed. I rubbed my head gently and stood up to go close the door.
I knew Alyssa and it wasn't hard to know that she was hiding something. I didn't care if she lashed out on me or hurts me, but I'm certain that she did something. She was behind how i can't feel any bond to Alpha Jack or why he believes she's his mate. I don't care how long it takes or what I have to do, but I'm gonna find out what she did.
