"It’s still a long way to level 3 and the only other way to get a lot of exp is to cure myself. The daily quest give very little exp, relying on it won’t get me anywhere, if the exp requirements keep increasing 30 exp will soon be insignificant". Xenon sighed, got up from his bed and walked to the desk by his bedroom window, which was adjacent to his bed. He picked up a small, round mirror that was on the desk and checked his face.
His skin was still very pale but better than the day he woke up in this world. The new face he had, had a faint resemblance to the one he used to have as Brayden before he died, but this one had gentler features and was more appealing, he stared at his grey eyes which complemented his skin tone well and shook his head slightly.
"All the girls are gonna be dying for me soon enough" He said to himself as his left hand dug into his short, white, recently cut hair, brushing it back. He sighed again and turned around, walking towards his room’s door.
"Let me see if Qweri is back." Xenon walked out of the room, only to meet his sister, Elsa right as he exited the room.
"I was just about to check up on you, how are you feeling?" Elsa asked leaning forward, her beautiful face inches away from Xenon.
’Why did the most beautiful girl in this world have to be my sister’. Xenon thought as her breath fell upon his face. He took a step backwards.
"I’m very fine now, thank you" He replied
"That’s good, but where were you going to?" She straightened and swept back her pale blonde hair from her face, and gazed fiercely upon him with her striking briliant blue eyes.
"Oh, I wanted to take a stroll around the house". He lied.
"Really?"
Xenon nodded.
"Or were you trying to sneak into the study?"
"No, of course not, it’s too late for that, but I might be in the study tomorrow." Xenon replied swiftly.
"When did you start paying attention to time?" Elsa teased then turned around, making to leave.
"Qweri is gonna be back soon and we’ll be busy preparing dinner, so don’t go fooling around, and I’ll only let you go to the study if you actually eat something tonight and not toy with your food as you did yesterday"
"Sure, I’ll stretch my stomach beyond it’s limits tonight" Xenon smiled. ’Cause it might very well be my last supper’. He said in his mind
The front door creaked loudly, indicating it was opened.
"That should be Qweri, we’ll talk later". Elsa gave him a pat on his shoulder before going to meet the butler.
"Sure". Xenon whispered. He went to the sitting room where he sat and waited for Elsa to go into the kitchen before going outside to meet Qweri who was trying to bring the stuff he brought in. He collected the draught from him and fled to the confines of his room, shutting the door behind him.
"Scan" He said. The system’s screen appeared above the bottle he held in his hand

"I didn’t actually expect you to finish everything." Elsa said in surprise as Xenon finished his dinner.
"It was so good that I just started wolfing everything down without realising it". Xenon grinned playfully.
"Your terrible attempt at flattery won’t work on me. Anyways, Gael will be back tomorrow, so try to be good this time and don’t throw any tantrums with him"
"There won’t be any trouble if he doesn’t cause any." Xenon replied firmly. According to the memories he gained, Gael was a big pain in the ass and they were never on good terms.
"Why must you always be so stubborn?"
"Why must he always act so domineering?"
"Just don’t get into trouble with him, for me okay?" Elsa pouted, looking at Xenon with eyes wide on a semblance of cuteness.
"Okay, okay, I’ll try." He replied and stood up muttering. ’Women!’
"Thank you." She beamed.
"Goodnight Elsa." Xenon said as he drew away from the dining.
"Goodnight Xenon." Elsa replied.
He waltzed to his room, dropped on the bed and fell asleep almost immediately.

"This should be enough". Xenon said weakly, he struggled to breathe as his stomach was bloated from excessive intake of water, restricting the air intake into his lungs.
He had no idea how long or how much the process of curing his ousia would take out of him, so he decided to drink a lot of water early, so as to be hydrated and not miss the daily quest. He rested for about 15 minutes for the water in his stomach to be absorbed, then went to inform his sister of him leaving the mansion.
"Be back before dinner." She instructed him.
"I shall." He replied.
He went back to his room to pick up the Manneke’s draught and exited the mansion.
The butler who has been spying on him since handing over the draught to him yesterday sighed with unease as he followed him out of the mansion, not letting him out of his sight.
Xenon exited the fence, crossed the bridge, walked through the field of flowers and came to the study’s door.
Qweri followed his every move, but stopped at the middle of the bridge, he couldn’t go further due to some certain thing on the recursive island. The ’thing’ appeared when Xenon’s father vanished and prevented anyone but his children from crossing to the other side of the bridge.
Even though Qweri couldn’t cross the bridge, he nevertheless watched Xenon from the distance. He watched him sit down at the doorway, bring out the draught from his pocket. Xenon stared at it for a long time, then threw it into the flowers, but picked it up again. He stared at it, put it down, mutter to himself, lay down on the lawn surrounding the study.
"Didn’t get say he simply wanted to replace the one he broke, what’s with the hesitation?". Qweri muttered to himself. He had been standing there watching Xenon for 3 hours without realizing it. He decided to call out to him and make him explain himself, but it was too late, Xenon entered the study.

"I have to do this, this is the only choice I have". Xenon said to himself as he opened the door to the study and entered. He sat down on the wooden floors and beckoned to the system.
"Yo system, what do I do now?"

"Oh I’ve done it now!, I’ve killed the young master!, I freaking murdered him!" He shouted and ran as fast as his old, muscular legs could go, back to the mansion.
