ZAIRA’S POV
"WHERE'S YOUR MIND!" Alpha Blake's angry voice startled me.
"EE-I'm m-sorry A-Aplha." I stammered, trembling, looking down at the smashed cup that lay on the floor at my feet. "I'll p-clean a-everything right now."
I was about to collect the pieces of the broken cup when Alpha Blake grabbed my arm and violently pulled me towards him.
Panic crept up my body. Please do not. Please do not. Not again.
"You should know better, Omega!" Slowly a small, malicious smile crept onto his face, which was contorted with anger, which I had learned to fear over the years. "Then I'll have to teach you better again."
"No bb-please not Alpha, t-it'll n-never happen again! I promise t-it!" I begged in a weak voice, which I quickly regretted.
"DAMN! How many more times do I have to tell you to shut up?!" he yelled at full volume, showing the veins in his neck.
I jumped in fear and ducked my head.
Oh no please do not!
"YOU DISSPECTABLE BRAT! LOOK AT ME WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU!" with his iron grip he yanked my chin up violently.
Before I could even look at him, his fist hit me in the face with full force and I fell to the ground with a scream.
"HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT?" he kicked me in the stomach and I had to bite my lip to keep from screaming out loud. I had long since learned not to make a sound.
To protect myself as much as possible from further kicks, I contracted into a fetal position.
"You are worthless Omega! No one's ever gonna love you, ya hear?!"
Tears silently rolled down my cheeks as he continued to smack my body.
I wanted to scream, beg him to stop!
But that would not help me, on the contrary, it would only goad him even more and increase the splendor of the beating.
He kept hitting me while gradually more and more people came and cheered him on.
I was screaming inside and it was like my body was on fire. The pain was overwhelming and each subsequent kick hit me even harder than the one before. My old wounds reopened and started bleeding again.
"Your parents died because of you, your whole lot! You disgust me you little worthless piece of shit!"
A single whimper escaped my lips before I slipped into a kind of trance. My body slowly became numb until I could no longer perceive anything and welcomed the black nothingness with open arms.
Please never make me wake up again.
With a groan of agony, I labored to open my eyes.
It was pitch black, but thanks to my enhanced senses as a werewolf, I could see everything with ease. I must have been unconscious for a long time if it was already night.
I struggled to pull myself up with all my strength, but my body immediately tensed, realizing that someone might still be there.
I looked around the kitchen nervously. I breathed a sigh of relief and gradually relaxed.
I was alone.
Every single part of my body ached to try to get up. Each step blurred my vision even more because of the sheer pain that coursed through my limbs. I threatened to pass out again when I finally reached my room.
It was more of a closet than a room, but I didn't care. I was just glad that I even had something like a room.
Exhausted and at the end of my strength, I sank onto my mattress.
I wish I hadn't woken up. I wish Alpha Blake had killed me this time so I could finally escape this daily nightmare.
For a brief moment, I considered running away.
To try again
I quickly pushed that thought aside. I knew all too well how it had turned out the last time, and God help me, I never want to experience anything like that again.
What was I thinking running away? Me, an omega, weak and helpless. I would never be able to run fast enough.
You would always find me.
He would always find me.
Alpha Blake.
I took a small knife from under my mattress and held it to my neck. My heart was pounding wildly against my chest.
Do it!
My hand was shaking uncontrollably and my breathing was ragged.
Do it!
I closed my eyes and counted down from five.

The knife clattered to the ground and skidded to a stop.
"Damn it!" I whispered and buried my head in my hands.
"Damn, damn, damn!" cold tears streamed down my cheeks and soft sobs shook my body.
I wish I could end my life myself, but I wasn't strong enough even for that.
