On the cargo railway tracks of Yu Bei City, a heavy train slowly set off, followed by a procession of trucks and off-road vehicles, majestically heading towards Airport Number One in Yu Bei City.
Passing through a valley, the main urban area appeared in everyone’s sight. With nightfall approaching, the entire Yu Bei City lay in complete silence beneath a gray-black veil, looking heavy and desolate.
Yu Bei City, as the starting city for Airport Number One, was the largest industrial and cargo port city in the southwest before Apocalypse Day, boasting a highly developed urban scale and heralded as the pearl of Tianhai Province.
To enter the Star Orbital from Tianhai Province, one had to pass through Airport Number One in Yu Bei City. The sky pillars that once propelled the city’s output and economy now stood continuously on Dazhu Plateau, like tombstones of the city, with bleak and desolate winds. The howling beneath the sky seemed to sing an elegy for humanity.
On either side of the tracks, zombies began to appear sporadically. As the train and cars roared by, these zombies started to give chase.
Gradually, the number of pursuing zombies increased, but it seemed that the convoy had become accustomed to such scenes; maintaining formation throughout, with no one firing shots or vehicles falling behind, demonstrating very good discipline.
Lin Xian observed the following convoy through the nuclear-powered locomotive’s onboard camera, feeling a certain sense of melancholy.
It appeared that the convoys that had survived were no ordinary groups, but what surprised him was the fact that Lao Mo, Shu Qin, and Xu Jin’s convoy still had a significant amount of Mysterious Blood Essence. He wondered if there were hidden dragons and crouching tigers within.

The sight also changed the expressions of those behind, such as Shu Qin, Xu Jin, and Lao Mo, each showing a subtle shift in countenance.
A city full of Corpse Tide!
"Attention, do not fire, do not fire, follow Infinity closely, don’t fall behind!" Xu Jin reminded everyone sternly over the walkie-talkie.
Such a massive Corpse Tide, once it breaks into the tracks or scatters the convoy, except for heavy trucks, normal off-road vehicles would hardly be able to proceed without being submerged by the surging tide of zombies.
The deeper they moved into the city, the more zombies appeared on the surrounding streets, spreading out as if occupying every street.
Just as the convoy was moving forward steadily, a series of explosions suddenly erupted from the city streets in the distance, growing closer.
At the same time, continuous gunfire and the roar of engines echoed through the streets.

The sounds of gunfire, various impacts, and screeching brakes grew louder, and soon the drone transmitted visuals.
"Look at that, there’s a large convoy, but they are not running away, they’re chasing another convoy!" KIKI’s tone was somewhat surprised.
What kind of hatred could be so big that they’d attack each other in an environment full of a zombie horde?

Sitting cross-legged in car number 2, KIKI had a smile on her face, floating up and down occasionally, seeming to enjoy her evolved superpower.
"Captain Lin, if that group notices us, they might directly attack us."
Shu Qin pulled out a black Remington M96 from behind the seat, her face showing a deadly aura, "They are complete maniacs!"
Lin Xian watched the fog in the city thicken and his expression became stern. He spoke into the walkie-talkie,
"I know. The fog is thickening ahead, everyone maintain formation for now. I’ll keep an eye on them!"
"Looks like a fight is brewing, us old guys should lend a hand too." The bright voice of Lao Mo came through the walkie-talkie.
"Alright!" Xu Jin looked towards the distant street with a cold expression and picked up the walkie-talkie to alert all the vehicles to prepare for combat.
