Ashutosh:
Mom and dad arrived that night. Mom called me to talk seeing me in my room. Rudrani was tensed but I assured her that I won't change my room again. I went to mom's room.
"What is this Ashu? I asked you to stay from Rudrani and you are hurting her," mom said.
"Mom, I am not hurting her. She explained her problem to me. If someone abused her in the childhood, it's not her fault. I have maturity to understand that."
"Ashu, Rudrani was harassed by him a lot. That idiot kissed her and behaved inhumanly with her and being a child and unsupported by parents, she is unable to save from him. She remembered all this but one day he spiked her drink and tried to rape her but she was saved by that idiot's wife. Rudrani didn't remember this as she was unconscious but her subconscious registered this so strongly. If you touch her, she will remember that. She can never accept you, Ashu. She hates the touch of a man. I hope you will understand her rather than hating her. It's not her mistake and heal her with your love," mom said.
I understood that my love didn't remember this but still she didn't forget it and I think my touch making her remember that idiot and she was assuming that even I was trying to rape her. It's complicated case but I must heal her.
"Mom, I will heal her with my love and care. If I stay away, she gets hurt more. Mom, you raised up your son with values and love. I am not a person who forces wife or sees her only with lust. I know the true meaning of love and marriage. I don't know whether I can heal her or not but I am sure I never leave her hand forever," I promised my mom.
Mom and dad felt happy hearing my words. I went back to my angel.
"What did mom say? Are you going to shift the room again?" Rudrani asked pouting.
"I always keep the promises given to my wife." I answered indirectly.
Rudrani hugged me. Later I discussed with mom and dad about her treatment. She slept happily talking about her likes and dislikes and teasing me saying I am a monkey. I covered her with blanket and kissed her cheek.
One month past by so quickly and our exams came up. Rudrani focused fully on her studies. Now a days, Rudrani looked more beautiful with a smile always on her face. I recognised happiness on her face with the love she was getting from me, mom and dad. I stopped inviting my friends to our home except Ahmed as he is the only one who behaves good to Rudrani. Tina being Artika's friend hates my Rudrani. We completed our exams. Rudrani reached home after completing her exam and hugged me tightly.
"What happened sweetheart? So romantic?" I asked holding her hands and turning towards her.
"Thank you so much, Ashu. I wrote my exams very well. It's all just because of you. Without your help, I wouldn't have done this," she said happily.
"That's great, so what shall we do in vacation? Do you plan anything or shall we plan together?" I asked.
Rudrani:
"Ashu, actually I have a medical camp to go for 10 days, shall I go?" I asked.
I know Ashu won't like to allow me to go because he will miss me.
"No," Ashu replied immediately as if he got a shock.
I felt to laugh at his sudden reaction.
"Please Ashu," I requested.
"No No No. I can't eat and sleep without seeing you. By the time you return, I will become a patient here," Ashu said hugging me tightly taking into his lap as if he will miss me if he leave me.
"Ashu, I will call you and we will message each other everyday, please send me, Ashu. If you didn't accept, I will go without informing you," I said.
"Really? Ok then try to go without informing me," Ashu said with seriousness in his voice.
"Please Ashu."
"Why are you asking me when you decided to go?" Ashu asked taking a book and pretending as if he was reading it.
"Ashu, I really want to go for the medical camp, Ashu. Before our marriage, dad never allowed me to go anywhere. I joined in NSS in my school but dad didn't allow me to go for camps. Even in my first 3 years of MBBS, I never attended any medical camp as dad used to doubt me. I thought this time I can go as you won't doubt me but you are also not allowing me to go," I said in a dull voice.
Sometimes too much love also becomes obstacle for our dreams.
"Why are you so adamant to attend the camp?" Ashu asked me.
"Ashu, this camp helps me to learn how to treat people through practical experience. Camp is going to be held in a remote village. We can know how people struggle there and what are the common diseases affect them. I have a dream to work in the villages to help those people who are prone to many diseases but never get proper treatment. I didn't want to miss this chance, Ashu," I said slowly hoping Ashu to understand.
Ashu smiled.
"Okay, All the best," Ashu said.
"What? Do you mean I can go for the camp?"
"Yes but please be in touch with me. I become mad if I didn't listen to your voice and know your details. Take care of yourself," Ashu said.
"Okay but Ashu, how can you become mad again? I mean you are already mad and you can't become mad again," I said and Ashu held my ear twisting it slightly without giving pain.
"Ashu, please leave me," I shouted as if it's paining.
"Do you mean I am mad?" Ashu asked with a smile.
"No," I answered
"That's good," Ashu said and left my ear.
"You are not mad but mad monkey," I said and got up from bed to escape from Ashu.
"Wait, see now what I will do when I catch you," Ashu said running behind me.
After few minutes, Ashu caught me and pinned me to the wardrobe.
"How dare you to call me as mad monkey?" Ashu said and I smiled.
"You are becoming naughty day by day. I should keep a check for your naughtiness my baby doll," Ashu said kissing me on cheek.
"How will you do that?" I asked encircling my arms around Ashu's neck.
"By giving a sweet romantic punishment," Ashu smirked making me gulp.
Romance with me? I am sorry, Ashu. I don't think in this life, I can fulfill your this wish due to my phobia. Tears started forming but Ashu stopped my tears.
"You will be scared of my touch. It means you can't accept my touch. You were hurt when I kissed you but not when you kissed me. So why can't we try from your side?" Ashu asked surprising me.
"What do you mean?"
"You take that charge over me. You start our romance by dominating me. I think it won't hurt you."
I looked at him with a combination of shock and nervousness.
"But Ashu, you said till our studies complete, we no need to think of it," I asked hesitating as I don't want Ashu to get hurt or angry.
"Swertheart, I am just asking you to initiate kiss as you did earlier. We should take slow steps. Only after finishing off your studies, we will start our married life but I want you to accept my touch by then. So now give me a deep kiss with your love before you leave to the camp," Ashu said.
I didn't want to disappoint him and moreover I want to come out of phobia as soon as possible. I don't know whether any husband will understand or be this patient to his wife who can't even allow him to kiss her but my husband is very patient and understanding towards me. Maybe his love was the main reason which created this feeling in me to give him myself completely. If he was not loving, I would never care for his feelings but now I really want to change for him. My heart was in desperate need of his love, romance and everything that he gives me.
I closed my eyes while placing my lips on his lips. I kissed him for sometime and Ashu opened his mouth giving me access to deepen the kiss. I took all my courage driving away my shyness and opened my mouth to explore his mouth. I kissed him deeply and Ashu responded but didn't dominate me. I didn't know how long I kissed him. We broke the kiss to breath. We took deep breath and Ashu gave side hug to me.
"Relax now," Ashu said and I hugged him for sometime.
"Are you hurt?"
"No, Ashu. I am fine."
"Are you frightened of me while kissing?"
"No!"
"How did you feel?" Ashu asked and I blushed.
"I am your husband, Rudrani. Tell me how was your mental status while sharing a kiss with me? Are you comfortable with me or did you anything wrong? Please don't be shy and answer me correctly. You are a doctor and you know well that I need these details to heal you," Ashu said.
I took a deep breath and decided to share my feelings.
"I felt shy in the beginning but later on when I remembered your love for me, I felt bliss and a trance occupied me. I was completely involved and I guess I enjoyed your kiss," I said without looking at me with shy.
"That's what I want to hear from you," Ashu said kissing me softly on my cheek.
After a day, I started to the camp leaving my Ashu.
Ashutosh:
Three days past by and I missed my angel so much. I was irritated and mom and dad teased me. After observing my struggle of missing my love for three days, dad advised me to go to the village to see my Rudrani. I agreed happily and started immediately the very next morning. I called her after reaching her camp.
"How are you my angel?" I asked.
"I am busy with this camp, Ashu. I miss you," Rudrani said cutely.
"I am very happy today," I said.
"Why?"
"You will know within few minutes," I said and disconnected the call.
I went to the camp and met her chief.
"Excuse me sir, Can I meet Mrs Rudrani Ashutosh, an apprentice here," I said.
"Rudrani? She is my student and she told she will attend the camp but she didn't come here for the camp with us. In the last minute, she said that her husband and inlaws didn't accept to send her to the camp," the chief said giving me a shock.
I accepted to send her and even mom and dad agreed to send her. I dropped her in the college that day and she called me saying that she reached the village. What's wrong? Just now Rudrani said she was busy with the camp. I was confused.
"Excuse me, who are you?" Her chief asked.
"I am her friend, sir," I lied as I didn't want others to think that she lied to her husband or to them, in case if what he said was true.
