The sun rays which broke through the window, right through the shades, hit her eyes, causing her to squint. Her eyebrows furrowed as she scrunched her nose in discomfort.
Alexandra's head felt heavy as she tried to lift her body off the bed. Falling back to the bed, she ran her hands slowly across her forehead. She was having a headache.
Next, she tried moving her legs but couldn't feel them all of a sudden. She felt slightly sore in between her legs instead. As she yawned and stretched, the comforter fell off her body, making the cold air that blew gently wash over her skin.
Feeling too exposed, her eyes dropped only to come in contact with her bare breasts. Quickly grabbing the comforter, she pulled it open only to realize that she was stark naked. The top of her genitalia stared her in the face and she looked at it right back.
Fear from nowhere overwhelmed her and she was forced to look around the room. As she stared at the room, she realized that she was in her own room. Next, her eyes darted to the floor, only to meet with her clothes strewn all over the floor boards.
As she tried to figure out why she was naked and why her clothes were all over the floor, she heard a groan and shivers ran down her spine. Whipping her head to the direction of the groan, her eyes met with the ruffled hair of a bare bodied, tattooed man.
Peering closely at the face, she realized that it was no other person than Baron. Her eyes widened and then it clicked. As she tried to connect the dots, she hoped it wasn't what she was thinking.
"You're awake already" Baron said, yawning and stretching
"Baron, what are you doing in my bed?" She asked, gripping the comforter firmly over her breasts
"What does it look like I'm doing?" He chuckled
"And before you ask any further questions, I'd advise that you stop gripping the poor fabric like you wanna squeeze life out of it. I've seen it all" He added, turning to lie on his back
"Baron, don't tell me we…" She trailed off, leaving her sentence mid air, tears welling up in her eyes
"We fucking had sex, Alex" He dropped the bombshell, rolling his eyes afterwards
"Darn it!" She cussed, a tear rolling down her left cheek
"And I don't wanna believe that's a tear I just saw. You don't have to get all worked up, Alex. It's no big deal. I mean, last night was all about mind blowing pleasure"
"It's not all about the pleasure, Baron!" She said, trying not to yell
"Did we use protection or not?" She asked, her eyes becoming teary the more
"Well, there was no condom whatsoever so yeah, it was skin to skin" He shrugged
"The best type of sex ever" He added, a sly grin at the corner of his lips
"Fuck you, Baron!" She finally yelled, the tears flowing freely down her cheeks
"Hey, hey, hey, don't go about passing the buck just yet. Last night wasn't all about me. It was about us, so don't pin it all on me"

Reminiscing on the events of the previous night, Alexandra tried to decipher how she ended up in bed with Baron of all people.
Last night was her birthday and she had thrown a party to grace the occasion. Her Mom wasn't home and it had even made it better, because her and her wild friends had the house all to themselves.
In the course of the party, she had spotted Steven with Vandana and had gotten so green with jealousy. She had invited him with the hope of spending time with him but he had dashed her hopes the moment he made Vandana tag along.
And to think that he had only wished her a happy birthday alongside a birthday present and had gotten back immediately with Vandana to continue their lovey-dovey moments had driven her mad with fury.
The last draw that broke the camel's back was when she caught Steven snogging Vandana, his hands groping her ass.
Frustration set in and she had resorted to drinking. Shots of Vodka did just the right job, making her end up in bed with Baron as the latter had come around to provide his kind of solace.
"This shouldn't have happened, Baron. Last night was a mess and shit ain't gonna happen again" She wiped her tears
"Don't be so sure, Alex" He chuckled, twirling her panties in between his fingers
He was already up standing and had donned his knee length jeans and a pair of Gucci sneakers.
"Give me that!" She snatched the lace out of his hands, causing him to snortle
"You know, I'm still surprised that I had to be the one to pop your cherry. And to think that we had done a lot of smooching back in Highschool and even before we assumed college. Wonder what you were keeping it for" He said, slipping his hands through the arm hole of his Hawaiian shirt
"Probably Mama had taught you well" He added, donning his neck chain
"Don't even bring her up" Her face scrunched in disgust as she thought of how much a whore her mother was
"And it's such a shame you had to be the one" She said, regretting every bit of what had transpired between her and Baron
"Who else did you want to fucking pop your V card?"
"None of your fucking business!" She replied, when deep down, she wished it was Steven
"Well, well, what's done is done. You can't take that back. There's no need crying over spilt milk"
"Feels good to know that I had to be first to bite out of that cake" He said and Alexandra swore that for a moment, she saw a look of triumph sweep across his face
"Baron, can you please leave already? You've overstayed your welcome" Alexandra said, not making an effort to hide her irritation
"Lest I forget, do well to take the pill. I'm sure you don't want to become a Mom" He tossed his derby hat on his head
"Just leave!" She yelled, gritting her teeth
"I'm gone, I'm gone" He headed for the door
And just as he was about to slide her bedroom door close, her voice stopped him.
"One last favor, Baron" Her blazing eyes had switched to puppy dog ones
Baron arched his right brow: a signal for her to go on.
"Can Steven not find out about this?" She asked, making Baron let out a slight laugh
After staying silent for a while, he spoke up.
"Lips sealed" He said before finally sliding the door close
As soon as Baron was out of sight, Alexandra heaved a sigh of relief. Running her fingers through her disheveled hair, she let out a short scream.
She didn't understand how shots of Vodka had made her end up in bed with Baron. She suddenly regretted having drinks that much, to the extent that she had unknowingly given herself to Baron.
She just hoped that Baron was going to keep to his words and not tell Steven what had happened between them. She still had plans of making Steven hers, not minding if Vandana was in the picture or not.
As her mind flashed back to the incident, she immediately remembered that they hadn't used protection. As she did a mental note to take the pill, a call came through her phone.
Not bothering to check who called, she swiped the reject button. But this caller, whoever it was, wasn't going to let her be. He or she called two more times and at the third ring, she decided to pick up.
Tossing her phone in annoyance at the other part of her bed where Baron had just stood up from, she held her head as a sharp pain shot through it.
She was having a hangover and her boss' personal assistant had just called and said that her attention was needed in the office: on a Saturday!
"Who the fuck goes to work on in an office on a Saturday?" She yelled out, absentmindedly
"Well, Mrs. Wong does" Her sub conscious replied and she couldn't help but agree
Mrs. Wong was her American-Chinese boss at the engineering firm where she worked. The former is an American who got married to a Chinese person.
Alexandra cussed as she dragged her weary self out of bed, still gripping the comforter tightly around her chest. She could still feel Baron's presence.
Placing a hand on her head, she rummaged through the first aid kit for some pain relievers before heading for the bathroom.
