"Shit, shit, shit!" Steven cussed thrice under his breath
"Uh oh!" Alexandra mouthed as she got off Steven's laps
"Speaking of the devil" She smirked
"I was about to leave, you know. You just walked in at the wrong time" Alexandra said, facing Vandana as she rounded up knotting Steven's tie
"Don't forget to take your lunch" Alexandra placed a kiss on Steven's cheek before grabbing her bag from the table and sashaying her way out of the office
As she passed by Vandana who had chosen to stay silent which surprised her to her marrows, both ladies raked their eyes over each other, sizing each other up. Alexandra let out a short laugh before walking out of the office.
The next minute saw Vandana in front of Steven's table. Tossing her bag angrily on the table, she sucked in a breath and flipped her hair backwards.
"Are you just gonna stare at me or offer some explanation?!" She expounded, folding her arms
"Dana, you need to believe me, what you saw back there wasn't anything serious" Steven replied, standing, cussing Alexandra inwardly
"So, what was it then? A slap and tickle affair that was short lived because I walked in?"
"Damn! Of course not, Dana. See, Lexa just came to see me and I don't know what came over her for her to pull a stunt like that. She's just a friend, nothing more" By this time, he was already in front of her trying to grab her hands
"Yeah, right. Just a friend indeed! So, you mean to tell me, she didn't grind against you and you didn't grab her booty either?" She flung his hands away
"Dana, I wouldn't even think of that, talk more or less, do it. You're the only one I would do that to"
"Well, I can't unsee what I saw back there" Vandana shrugged
"Dana, can you please unsee what you just saw? I'm not cheating on you and I can swear with my soul on that" Steven pleaded, proceeding to grab her waist. Fortunately, she didn't resist this time around
"I see you've used my phrase" Vandana laughed
"You know what, Steven? Lexa, Alexandra or whatever her name is, should learn her boundaries and learn how not to cross 'em. If she doesn't, trust me, I won't hesitate to put that bitch in her place"
"You can as well talk to her, since she's just a friend" She said, making air quotes when she mentioned friend
"Sure thing, I will. But it seems as though you haven't calmed down yet" He pulled her closer, reaching out to her neck with his lips
"Not until I trash this" She said withdrawing herself from his arms and reaching out to grab the lunch pack that Alexandra had brought
"Lunch for the bins" Vandana watched as the large brown envelope fell from her hands into the waste bin
"Good thing you didn't eat that poison" She wiped her hands with a Kleenex which she had gotten from its holder on the table before tossing it into the bin
Steven let out a short laugh.
"Come here" He said
"Never knew you were this protective" He placed his hands under her butt, raising her and placing her on the table
"Of course I am. Seems like this is the first time you're seeing this part of me" She spread her legs and watched him come in between
"If I must say, it's beautiful. Seeing you all vicious and possessive" He stroked her face, tucking some strands of hair behind her ear
"Well, you'd get to see more if Lexa or some other bitch dares to cross the lines"
"Now you've made a hedge around me" He laughed
"Would you love to see me in another man's arms?" She asked
"Definitely not!" His brows furrowed
"See how worked up you got?" It was her turn to laugh
"There. You have your answer. You've placed a hedge around me as well"
After staring into her eyes for a while, he reached out and kissed her deeply. She reciprocated with so much fervor.
"I love you, Dana" He breathed against her lips
"I love you more, Steven Empire Chase" She called out his full name, threading her fingers through his hair
Next thing he knew, her fingers were running through the buttons on his shirt, trying to pop them out of their holes.
"Now you wouldn't do that. I have a meeting after lunch" He backed away from her
"Damn it!" She cussed under her breath, earning a chuckle from Steven
"How about I drop by your place on my way home?" He asked, coming closer to her after he had fixed back the first button of his shirt which she had removed and arranged his hair which she had ruffled
"And put me in seven positions for seventy minutes or whatever that song said?" She asked, biting on her lower lip
"You'd like that?" He irked a brow
"Over and over" She said, pouting invitingly afterwards
"I'm game" He kissed her forehead before returning to his executive chair
"Speaking of lunch, let me order something for us" She said reaching out to her bag and grabbing her phone
"Avocado Chicken Salad?" She questioned, lifting her eyes from her phone
"With flavored Seltzer" He replied, pulling his tie loose

This was Baron's lordly mansion and a pool party was going on. There were three large swimming pools in total - money speaking.

Outside Baron's mansion, stood two henchmen, clad in black hoodies. In front of them, stood a tripod which had a machine gun with a pair of binoculars mounted on it.
From the height both men were positioned, they had a clear view of Baron's mansion and the ongoing pool party, courtesy of the pair of binoculars.
"Where's Jhene?" Iphan asked Kane as he tore his lips away from his girlfriend, Summers who was all over him
"She stepped in to get us some flutes and Tequila" Kane replied, caressing his stubble
"Oh" Iphan mouthed
"I think it's best if you worry less about me and concentrate on Summers" Kane said, shoving his hands into the pocket of his wet briefs
"Shawty can't seem to get her hands off you" Kane added, winking at Summers and earning a pout from her
"Where were we again?" Iphan ignored Kane, strengthening his hold on Summers butt
Kane simply let out a short laugh as he patiently waited for Jhene.
In the split of a second, there was a loud bang and Kane's face, neck and chest were decorated with tiny dots of blood.
Whipping his head to face Iphan, he saw that blood was pouring out of the latter's neck. He needed no seer to tell him that Iphan had just been shot in the neck.
As he turned his head away from Iphan, trying to figure out where the gunshot came from, his forehead was greeted with a bullet.
