If there were no level raise, I would be able to earn SP efficiently by repeatedly defeating low-ranked dungeon bosses.
However, this earning method is no longer viable due to level raises.
You need to prepare well in advance to fight a boss of the same level as yourself.
No, even if you do not neglect the preparation, there is no guarantee that any accidents will not happen.
In particular, boss monsters sometimes have more skills as their level increases.
Just because you were able to beat them at a low level does not mean you will be able to beat them in the same way.
This specification regarding bosses is said to be a “consideration” so that high-level explorers do not stay in low-ranked dungeons and hinder the growth of low-level explorers.
Who, why, and how does such “consideration” take place? No one can explain it properly, though.
Now, let’s turn our attention to Huge Slime-kun in front of me.
According to the wiki, the Huge Slime is one of the most common monsters among low-ranked dungeon bosses.
The basic action pattern of the Huge Slime is to jump high using its huge, resilient body and crushing its enemies with its mass.
In short, it is a Slime that is just bigger.
However, at Lv. 10, the Huge Slime uses a skill called ‘Split.’
As the name implies, the Huge Slime splits into two, and these two have the same abilities as the original Huge Slime, except that their maximum HP is cut in half.
The boss effectively becomes two, and the difficulty level changes considerably if this skill is not present.
So, if you are going to take on the Huge Slime, the wiki says you should do it while your level is in the single digits.
Or, they said, you should challenge it when you are more leveled up and have more skills.
The worst thing you can do is fight the Huge Slime at exactly level 10.
