Days and weeks passed by without any new dramas.
Though the Maheswari family were first shocked by their daughter’s relationship with Siddharth Agnihotri, slowly they agreed to it.
Tej Maheswari was completely against the relationship, declaring that he wanted a groom for his only granddaughter from Jaipur only. It took hell a lot of persuasion from all sides to convince him. It was finally Drishti and Shreya’s emotional drama that did the job.
Today is the engagement party of Siddharth and Shreya.
Drishti was running around the palace, making sure everything was perfect for her best friend’s engagement with her sister in law.
The engagement party is in full swing, and the garden venue is buzzing with excitement. Drishti, the sister-in-law and best friend, is frantically running around, double-checking every detail to ensure everything is perfect for her sister in law Shreya's engagement with Siddharth, her bestie.
Shravan, her husband, chuckles as he watches Drishti in action.
"Drishti, calm down! The decorations are already top-notch. You're like a tornado on a mission!"
Drishti, looking a little breathless, replies, "I can't help it, Shravan! This is my best friend’s engagement and he is getting engaged to my sister in law. It has to be perfect! What if something goes wrong?"
Shravan grins, trying to reassure her, "Relax, nothing will go wrong. We've got this. Besides, the real challenge will be trying to keep up with the dance moves on the floor tonight!"
Playfully, Drishti teases him, "Oh, please! I've seen you dance, Shravan. Are you sure you won't trip over your own feet?"
Feigning offence, Shravan retorts, "Hey now, I am a graceful dancer, thank you very much. And you know what they say: behind every great dancer is an even better dance partner."
Amused by his response, Drishti smirks, "Oh, so you're saying I am your secret weapon on the dance floor?"
Shravan winks at her, "Absolutely! We'll own that dance floor like a power couple!"
They share a laugh and join the lively party. Meanwhile, Shreya and Siddharth engage in a hilarious conversation with some friends.
Teasingly, Shreya says, "Siddhu, I hope you're prepared for a lifetime of dealing with my crazy family!"
Siddharth smirks, "Don't worry, Shreya. I've been with Drishti for the past ten or more years. I don’t think anything can be crazier than being with her. I think I can handle it."
Amused, Shreya laughs, "You have no idea what you're getting into! But I promise, it'll be a fun ride."
Drishti jumps in, reminding Siddharth, "And don't forget, Siddhu you're also gaining your best friend as a family now."
"Oh my luck! I can’t thank god enough for giving you as my best friend. What would I have done without you?” Siddhu asked dramatically.
"Flattery won't get you anywhere, Siddharth."
As the evening continues, the dance floor fills up with enthusiastic guests, and Drishti and Shravan showcase their dance moves while Shreya and Siddharth enjoy every moment of their engagement party.
The emcee announces, "Ladies and gentlemen, let's raise a toast to the happy couple, Shreya and Siddharth! May your love always be as joyous and lively as this unforgettable night!"
Everyone cheers, "To Shreya and Siddharth!"
The party continues with laughter, dance, and endless fun, making it an engagement party to remember for a lifetime.

Retiring for the night, Drishti was hell tired after all the running around.
“Tired?” Shravan asked softly, as he caressed her head.
“I am dead.” Drishti replies through her half closed eyes.
“You could have simply enjoyed the party. There was an event management team to take care of the arrangement. What was the need for running around like that?” Shravan admonished lovingly.
“I wanted to be sure. I couldn’t arrange my own wedding properly. The least I could do is manage my best friend’s wedding.” Drishti said cheekily, reminding Shravan of their impromptu wedding.
Shravan chuckled at that reminder.
“It feels like my legs are going to fall off any moment.” Drishti moaned as she could feel the dull throbbing pain in her feet.
Shravan pulled Drishti’s feet onto his laps and gently started massaging them.
“Oh! It feels so good. Keep doing that.” Drishti said, sighing as she got a little relief from his massaging.
As Shravan continued to massage Drishti's feet, she felt the exhaustion slowly melt away. The pain began to subside, and a warm sensation of comfort enveloped her tired body. Leaning back against the couch, Drishti closed her eyes and let herself revel in the soothing touch.
"You know," Shravan said softly, "you don't always have to take everything upon yourself. You've got friends and family who are more than willing to help, especially on such important occasions."
"I know," Drishti replied, "but it's hard to let go sometimes. I guess I just wanted everything to be perfect for Siddhu. He's been my rock since we were teenagers, and I couldn't bear the thought of him being stressed on his big day."
Shravan smiled at her fondly. "I understand.”
“And remember, I am here for you as well. You don't have to do everything alone."
Drishti smiled gratefully at him. "I am lucky to have you," she said, "you always know how to take care of me."
With the pain in her feet now almost gone, Drishti felt more relaxed than she had in a long time. She looked at Shravan lovingly, feeling immense gratitude for his presence in her life.
"I love you," she whispered, reaching out to caress his cheek gently.
"I love you too," Shravan replied, leaning in to kiss her forehead.
As they sat there, basking in each other's love and support, Drishti yet again realised what a lucky girl she is to get a man like Shravan in her life.
Nobody can ever love her the way Shravan does.
Nobody can ever tolerate her tantrums and attitude like Shravan does.
Nobody can ever make her feel special, the way Shravan does.
Nobody can ever understand her the way Shravan does.
In short, nobody can replace Shravan.
