I could hear my phone ringing but I was too much in a comfortable position to leave the soft embrace and pick up my call. Then I heard shanaya's voice as she answered
"Hello, di he is sleeping." Shanaya said running her fingers through my hair.
"No, no don't worry. He said he is going to take a day off on the day of the ceremony. He'll get home a day earlier." She said and then I heard Ahana's voice from the other side.
"I want you to come with him too. A day earlier." She said in a stern tone.
"What? No, i don't think I can." Shanaya said.
"I am not asking you. Mom wants you here. You better not deny your guide." Ahana said and Shanaya just laughed.
"Okay, what can I say before her." Shanaya said chuckling and then they hung up.
I love how she just is a part of my family as if it is hers.
"Aarav." She called me softly while playing with my hair.
"Aarav get up. We'll get late." She said kissing my forhead and I tightened my hold on her waist.
My head was on her chest and her hands around my neck.
This feels serene..!
Can I not stay like this?
"Aarav! I'll get late for my presentation. I have a to take a lecture today. Get up lazy ass!" She said smacking my shoulder.
"I don't feel like leaving you." I said groaning.
"You are too much when it comes to cuddling." She said laughing.
"You're like a giant snuggling teddy bear." She said.
"Correction; Your giant snuggling teddy bear. I don't like to do it with everyone." I said and left her groaning.
"I'll send your lunch a bit late with my chauffeur. I want to sleep some more. I came late from the surgery." I said holding her hand and she just went away nodding.
How much I miss her warmth!

When I returned home, it was a bit late. I heard noises from the kitchen and frowning I walked towards kitchen.
The siteI saw absolutely shocked me.
Shanaya was standing with a frown on her face before the stove with an apron on.

I could just hug her until she is out of oxygen.
She is that cute!
"Aarav!" She said surprised and I walked towards her.
Pulling her by her waist I took her lips in a deep kiss. Ofcourse, she was caught off guard but then soon she started kissing me with equal fevour.
She is going to be the death of me!
She is all over my senses now..!
She broke the kiss breathless and I rested my forhead on hers.
"You're going to make a me 'shanaya addict' person." I said chuckling and her eyes were still close.
"Too late. I am already an 'Aarav addict' person." She said opening her eyes.
And then suddenly her eyes widened and she said "ohh shit!"
She turned around abruptly and switched off the stove.
"Thank god! It's not burnt."
I held her from behind and then looked around the kitchen.
Ofcourse, she had made a lot of mess on the kitchen counter but I was not going to spoil her spirit by scolding her about that.
"What are you doing?" I asked resting my chin on her shoulder.
"Cooking." She said in a duh tone.
"You don't know how to cook." I said kissing her cheek.
"Ohh about that I saw a few tutorials on youtube." She said searching for something and I handed her salt with one hand while the other still holding her.
"I am soo sorry for the mess. I realised it is always you cooking after a hectic day. So, I decided to do something for you today." She said with a wide grin on her face.
"Shanaya!" I said glaring at her when I saw a bandage on her left hand.
I left her and switching off the stove I turned her around.
"How did this happen?" I said taking her finger in my hand.
"Ohh it is nothing. I swear, it doesn't even pain." She said nervously while I was still glaring at her.
"Shut up! Why would you come into the kitchen if you know you'll end up hurt?" I yelled at her and she just stood there rolling her eyes.
Angrily she took her hand away from my hand and said
"I just wanted to do something for you okay. You don't need to yell at me for that."
"The only thing you can do for me is don't ever make these blunders. Do you think now I am going to be happy knowing you've cut your finger while cooking for me?" I said taking her hands in mine and explaining her and she again huffed.
Such a kid!
"Okay fine. What were you making?" I asked her and she said "Pasta."
"How about you go & sit on the counter and I continue with the pasta?" I asked her expectantly.
"It is almost done." She whined.
"Jaan, I don't want you with cuts & bruises. So just go & sit on your regular place." I said and pulled her towards the side.
Picking her up from waist, I made her on the counter and kissed her cheek.
"I couldn't even do one thing to make your work less!" She muttered and I chuckled at her.
"You know I love cooking. So, it is not like a work for me." I said and continued with the pasta.
When I was finished with it, we sat on the dining table.
She was telling me about her thesis topic and I was listening to her intently when suddenly I asked her
"Will you go on a date with me?" She looked at me wide eyed with her spoon stopping midway.
What?
Was it that shocking?
"Umm! Did you just say what I heard?" She said with a stupedified expression.
I wanted to laugh soo hard on her expression but I controlled.
Don't rile her up!
"I asked you if you will go on a date with me." I said emphasizing on each word.
She pinched me hard and I winced.
"Owww! Woman..! What's wrong with you?" I asked her and then she said
"Just wanted to make sure It is not a dream." She said smiling.
"Should've never asked you out. Who pinches like this after being asked out?" I muttered to myself putting a spoonfull of pasta in my mouth.
"So now you don't want to go on a date with me?" She asked faking a sad expression.
"Drama!" I said rolling my eyes with a smile on my face.
"Dude! This drama puts up a smile on your face so you better not complain." She said laughing.
That's true though..!
