The drive to my house takes about half an hour from the park. The entire time Scarlett sat in the middle seat, snuggled up against me.
My heart is bursting with love for my girl. She is perfect in everything she does. Well though trying to fix machines, that is something I hope she doesn't try again.
Small little ideas started popping up about the ways I can spoil her. Since, she is an extremely low maintence lady and she likes flowers but never really gets overly excited for them.
I am happy it is Saturday and we have no work tomorrow, so it can just be us all day.
I park the truck and we go to the door, I unlock it and Scarlett steps inside the house.
"We will need to figure out which house we want to live in or find something completely new." I mumble.
"We do have several things to figure out now." Scarlett replies.
"I didn't mean to say it out loud. It is all still new with us being engaged." I rub my neck.
"I want to be with you all the time and never apart again." Scarlett wraps her arms around me, kissing my jawline.
I pick her and putting her legs around my waist. I walk us to the bedroom and lay her on the bed, taking her clothes off while she works on mine.
In no time we are both strip bare of clothing, and I am worshipping her body in every way that I can.
Dawn comes much to soon and Scarlett is sleeping peacefully on my chest. I doze off it seems like in a content sleep until I feel Scarlett move.
Opening my eyes, I see Scarlett blush.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to wake you. I just needed to move." Scarlett sighs.
"It is all good. I need to get up anyways." I kiss her lips and sit up once she moves.
Scarlett goes into the bathroom and I do a quick shake of my head. I want to follow and show her a good time in there but I need to make sure she is fed too.
I throw on some boxers and walk to the kitchen. Starting the coffee, I pull out bacon, eggs and oranges.
I still don't have much for breakfast but this will do.
Letting my mind wonder, I think over last night. Once again, we didn't play it safe. Scarlett is not on any form of birth control and not once did I put a condom on.
I jump and spin when I feel something touch my shoulder. Scarlett jumps back and watches me closely.
"Sorry." I sigh rubbing my face. Here I thought part of my past wouldn't keep affecting me but it does when I least expect it.
"It is my fault. I came up to quietly." Scarlett gives me a small smile, before she kisses me.
That small kiss brings me back to where I need to be.
"Where was your mind? Was it on the past or something else?" Scarlett asks, sitting at the bar, just as I put our plates down.
"On last night actually. We didn't use protection again." I chuckle.
Scarlett picks her phone off the counter and is quiet.
"Well it wasn't during the time that I could be top level to conceive." Scarlett shrugs.
"You know that is not always accurate." I raise my eyebrow.
"Nothing is, if you want to be technical." Scarlett sasses.
She got me there.
"So when do you want to get married?" Scarlett looks at me after a few bites of food.
"I am good whenever you want to. The date doesn't matter to me. I prefer not in May due to us both having bad memories that month." I suggest.
"Yeah, no. What about a late summer wedding? We could do like August maybe. It is the slowest time for the coffee shop and I would like to have a small honeymoon just us." Scarlett smiles.
"Sounds great to me. Just need to plan to be off for however long you want to have our time." I lean over into her.
"Well, I have been thinking about hiring someone new to help with the shop. It has gain so much business and it is hard at times on Maddy and I. So that gives me plenty of time to hire someone and let them train, get used to the shop." Scarlett pecks my lips, tasting like the orange.
"That gives you like eight months." I laugh.
"We are not that busy really to need any help at the shop, but I will need to make sure it is good with Alex." I nod.
"If you want to marry fast we could do it by spring time. I just want the weather nice and at least August will have pretty green trees, good weather that may not turn cold or rain at a moments notice." Scarlett goes over the time frame.
"August sounds great." I don't want her to feel rushed, just us being together means everything to me and I know she is my girl.
"So where will we live? That is next." Scarlett giggles.
"I prefer to live outside of city limits." I add with a shrug.
"This house would be the best between ours. Since mine is in city limits. So I could sell mine and use the money that I get from it and we can pay this house off." Scarlett thinks over it all.
"If that is what you want to do. I am open to us buying a completely new place too if you want it." I tell her.
"I like this house." Scarlett smiles.
"Okay sounds great we will stay here." I finish the food and start washing my plate.
"You can decorate however you want, because as you can see I am not much of a designer." I laugh.
"That is true, with how bare everything is in here." Scarlett joins me in laughing.
I love this feeling of fullness inside of me. All the love and working together. It may be fast that we just got engaged last night and now this morning pretty much have the major details figured out. We both just work so well together and it makes things feel right.
"So looks like we know what we are doing today. Packing." Scarlett smiles washing her plate.
"If you're ready to do it so fast." I make sure.
"I was serious when I said I don't want to be apart from you ever again." Scarlett kisses me again.
