Am in prison! In prison! How come? How did I manage to be in such a situation? I have to go out from here now or else I will run mad. I have to stay calm and think of a solution...call! Yes, a call!
" Hey! I think I have the right to pass a call right?" I ask the policeman
" Yes!" He answers, still concentrating on his newspaper." Bill, open the door and let her pass a call!"
The policeman Bill comes and opens the door and puts on my hand a pair of handcuffs. I have to call Allan, just praying he picks the call. The other policeman gives me the phone and I try to dial Allan's number. But no response, Oh my God, what will I do? I try his number again and it doesn't work, am sure he has turned off his phone because he is angry, oh no! What a poor day. I have just one option in my head now, Derick!
" Have you pass your call?" The policeman asks.
" No he is not responding but I need to call another one!" I say.
" So do it fast and get back there."
" The problem is that I don't know his number. Can I take it in my bag?" I say fearing his reaction.
I know it is absurd but I am off right now! The only way is to please him so much.
" I beg you please!" I beg again and again.
He finally leaves me and takes a card with Derick's number on it, I dial the number and by God's grace, he takes the call.
" Allo!" He answers.
" Allo! Derick, please come to the police station. I have been arrested, I need your help!"
" What? Okay, am coming!"
Hearing his words comfort me and I could hang up the phone with the feeling of being protected by him. I get back to the dungeon and wait for him. I don't know why I immediately think about him but it's better.
Some minutes later, I see Marco and Derick coming and my heart sinks with joy when seeing him. He comes forward to me and holds the Barretts at the same time with me, we look at each other, I look at him with much relief and he looks at me with much love, with the same eyes he used to look at. I could feel all the love he effectively had for me but was I wrong to feels like that? I am behind the Barretts but feel so close to him when he caresses my jaw.
" I will get you out from here!" He says.
I could feel all the comfort he procures me. And I trust him! I nod my head of agreement.
" What did the policeman say?" I ask Marco when he comes.
" A woman saw your car yesterday in a district where we mostly sell drugs like cocaine and marijuana. And since yesterday they were checking for your car and that's why they caught you!" Marco explains.
" But who was with your car?" Derick asks.
" I don't… Taylor! Taylor went with my car yesterday !" I say.
" Is Taylor taking drugs?" Derick asks.
" I thought she stopped but definitely no! It's a long story. Please call for Allan and Taylor please!" I ask Derick.
He nods! I go with Marco near the policeman.
Some hours after all this, a policeman opens my door and announces I am free of charge. I get forward to Derick with a smile and do not hesitate to give him a big hug while thanking him so much.
" I paid everything, and I remove all the charges on you. Don't worry! No one will know that, social media, newspapers, magazines, strictly no one! I have used all the contact I had!" He says holding my jaws and wiping my tears.
" Thank you so much!" I say while giving him a hug.
Still hugging him, I see Allan coming and feel great joy to see him. I leave Derick and go to Allan, he hugs me and asks me if everything is fine.
" Don't worry I'm fine! Thanks to Derick!" I sat.
" Thank you!" Allan says to Derick.
Derick nods his head and goes with Marco a little bit disturbed.
" What happened?" Allan asks me.
" I think Taylor is still taking drugs, where is she? We have to talk to her" I say.
" She wasn't at home when I came to search for her, and why did you not call for me?"
" I called for you, but you turned off your phone. Let's go and search for her, I don't like her absence!" I say.
We get to the car and I try several times to call her, in vain. I have a bad feeling about this, I hope nothing happened to her…
