Undying memories Chapter 9

I reluctantly got out of the elevator and while walking, I saw the gaze of another ghost walking inside, maybe they thought I was a poor creature because of this face of mine. "Compassionate! What happened to you?" Mona asked in shock, still covering her mouth. Only now did I notice that her face as well, she looked alive except for the color of her skin. "Why didn't you tell me that those young ghosts were so sadistic?" I could see the pleading on my face, what that Florence visitor did was bad. "Didn't sir Florence say that? He said that because you're the one who likes it." I even closed my eyes after she said this. "I said the best room, not the craziest room." "That's the best room and that's for naughty kids." Shrugging I looked at her. That's why he was so happy after I asked for that, he meant not to tell me! "He's so fuckin–" "Nice look." My teeth chattered quickly and I looked sharply at Florence, as he approached us, followed by the female ghost behind her. Maybe this is also where she works, because of what she is wearing, she is beautiful and has a gentle face. It was as if she was too humble, even silence she could not break. Her eyes are round, she has a small nose and heart-shaped lips, its jaw is well-shaped and she is also white because they are ghosts. "Are you very happy?" I raise an eyebrow question here. "Pretty much, they should have put bangs on you up to here." At once, he appeared above the eyebrow. Short bangs if anything, that's what he wants to see kids do. "Well, wait for my revenge sir Florence." I raised an eyebrow at him and folded my arms. I can see Mona walking away because I answered her crazy boss. "Okay! Change your clothes..." He looked at me from head to toe, he was about to catch his breath for the second time. "Barbie the Witch." This time, he laughed. Happy with my experiences? Even though they did this to me I was still beautiful. Duh! Ghosts are already blind to look. "But it's up to you, you look like an ancient fool," he said angrily and his angry grin flashed again, I would have hit him when Cora and Mona blocked in front of me. They immediately took me away from there, but my blood boiled as I watched Florence's angry smile. I will retaliate, I will annoy you. "There are your things, take a bath and get ready," Cora ordered. She handed me the key but I did not open it. "What kind of ghost is waiting for me?" I said it seriously but they just laughed at me both. "You're alone in that room, sir Florence just played you with them," Mona replied. "What happened to those kids? Why haven't they been delivered yet?" I asked before taking the key from Cora. "Those kids had a field trip then, when the bus they were riding is fell on the bridge, six of them died from that bus. They've been here for a long time, but because it's nasty, they can't get out of that room. They want to play, so sometimes we give them, but we don't force them to leave." I stopped at Mona's explanation. "They were young and they didn't know they were dead, they all thought they were here to play," Cora added. I felt pity the moment I heard the whole story. The smiles on those kids' faces, the way they play, their naive minds. The joys I saw in them were the joys of children early deprived of the freedom to live. They are unaware that they have been dead for a long time. If I thought I was miserable before, I was mistaken. They are the real pitiful, they are just kids who want to play and have fun. "Where are you going? Won't you fix yourself first?" Cora stopped me after I walked away. "No, I'll do something first." After I said this, I ran back to the room. I gasped as I stood opposite the door, and carefully opened it. This door made a noise cause they looked at me. They were playing in bed and I immediately saw the excitement on their faces. They ran to me and I sat down to face them. "You didn't remove?" Fun question of a child. I nodded and tried not to cry. I am weak at this thing, especially with children. I feel my heartbreak as I watch the smiles on their faces, the smiles of little children the world should be seeing. "I hope when I grow up I'm as beautiful as you." I looked at a girl. "I'm Quinn, what's your name?" Even though my voice was trembling I insisted on asking it. It wasn't because of fear, it's because I was holding back crying. "I'm Dinda." "I'm Lyla, 5 years old." "I'm Babilyn." "I'm Kyla." "I'm Princess, we both have the same name." At the same time, she pointed the kid next to her. They are sitting in front of me now, so they can continue to be my teacher. Because they are so kind in front of me now, I took the opportunity. I started telling stories to the kids and they liked it. These kids are very nice and smart, they listen well. I can't help but smile as I watch these kids, but I also feel pain because of the truth. "Quinn, are you going to take us to heaven?" I immediately stopped at Kyla's question. "Because all of them here want us to go there, isn't only the dead going there?" Dinda asked further. "You know you're from God, don't you? We're all going back to him too. You're too young to understand these things. But do you want to be an angel?" I gently question them. "Yes." Simultaneously they answer. I took a deep breath and sat up. "Then you and God must be by the side, angels like you must be in heaven." I even pinched their cheeks one by one. "What about mommy and daddy? They'll cry because we're dead." I even heard Princess sobbing, I immediately approached her and held her shoulder. "Did you know that when you go to heaven, you can still be put back in the womb of your mommies? So that when that happens they won't cry anymore, because you will come back as their baby." They even nodded at what I said. Kier told me this, that children often become the reincarnation of their parents' next child. Those who are no longer able to have children can go to their relatives. "Really? I want to go to heaven so I can come back." Babilyn happily promised and stood up, as did the others. Traces of real joy on their faces now, I was smiling but in tears looking at them. I don't know the feeling as I watch the smile on the faces of these little ones, I know they will be doubly happy once they have God with them. They will be better off and I know that by the time they are born again, their lives will be even longer. Happy and excited we went down, as we held hands smiling we walked towards another Grim reaper that was there. I saw the smile on Cora and Mona's faces, even though I couldn't see the fun in Florence, I knew he was happy for these kids too. Because finally, they can be really happy as well. Only with naive children can you find fun, it's nice to be a child. "Bye Quinn, I'm sorry if we didn't get along well with you. Promise we'll be back and we'll get along well." I sat down again and for the last time, I smiled at these children. "I'll wait for that, you'll fix me someday." Even though I tried not to cry, I couldn't stand it. My heart is soft when it comes to children. They waved at me one last time, as I watched them enter through a door that was super light inside. You will be truly happier in the place you are going to and when you return, may you be even happier.
