Undying memories Chapter 14

It was a long trip, I was still scratched and without anything but myself, scratches and dirty clothes. Except for my money and my cellphone, I had nothing with me. I called my mom but no one answered, they were probably asleep so I called Finley. I knew it was morning when that woman went to sleep, so she answered my call. At their boarding house in Manila, I will be there today to rest. I also prepared medicines for my wounds. I slept soundly because I was tired, so far I haven't met a ghost on the bus I'm riding. No child holding the foot. Hopefully, it will continue like this, just normal. Finley greeted me immediately when I arrived at their boarding house. "What happened to you?" Astonishment greeted me. "It's an ugly incident and I don't want to talk about it first." I pushed her to get completely inside. They have an apartment and many rooms, students and workers are usually boarders. "Is there still room?" I stopped and faced her. "On the 3rd floor, room 14. That's right, the border just left there," she replied with her focus on the cellphone. She kept pressing and heard the crack of its extra-long nails. "You're still awake at three o'clock." I sit here. She ignored me and even passed me by. I even smiled at the thought of a prank. I quickly turned to her and ran closer to her. She was sitting now with her legs raised, her eyes focused on her chat buddy. "Do you know it's devil hour now?" I whispered here with a threatening voice. "That doesn't seem to be true." Her lazy answer. "Are you sure? Then why is a woman looking in the back–" "You look like a fool, Quinn!" I immediately bit the lower part of my lip so hard to hold back a laugh. Did she suddenly jump at me and be afraid to look behind her. "And they say that often to people who reach the devil hour, souls approach it even more," I whispered here again and she squeezed me harder, I pushed her, but she squeezed me harder. "W-what? Those are my wounds." I pushed hard on her because my wounds hit her clothes, she kept on screaming. "It's up to you, you'll take care of it." It quickly ran into her room. I was stunned for a moment and suddenly laughed, I really couldn't stop laughing. Finley was the only one to get rid of my anger and annoyance, so my cousins preferred to scare her because she was quick to believe. Sometimes when the light is suddenly turned off she flies away. It's getting early and I need to clean my wound, I want to sleep as well and my brain to be fresh. There was no wild soul at first, no Keir or Grim Reaper, and especially no ghost demon Florence. "What are you doing m–" "Oh, demon!" I even jumped in shock when suddenly a woman stood beside me. "Why are you startled?" I was even held to my chest as I returned to sit, it was a serious border of theirs, still awake at this time. Don't they have classes tomorrow? "I can't sleep. What happened to you?" She asked as she looked at me putting betadine on my wound. "I just stumbled, but after that, I'll be able to sleep," I replied to her as I arranged the ones I used. "I'm in room 14, you? can't you sleep yet?" I will ask hereafter I stood up, I even took the dress I had borrowed from Finley. "Room 13, let's go up together." It stood up as well and we climbed together. "What's your name?" "Chelsea, my cousin, and I are new here. Maybe it's only 7 days, are you?" I even turned to her as we climbed. "Just sleep now, my aunt owns it," I replied. I even heard her amazement when I said this. I'm not snobbish, so whoever talks to me I talk to, in fact, only Keir and Florence can warm my head. just the two brought out another habit of mine. "All right, I'm in, goodnight." I smiled at her and waved some more, before entering room 14. I hurried to change my clothes and look in the mirror again. I just looked at myself for a moment and avoided again, why do I count on the woman I see in the mirror? I first took a deep breath and slowly lay down. I was even stunned on the ceiling and closed my eyes again, I had to force myself to sleep. Since the day I fell, I haven't slept well and I don't seem to be a normal person anymore. No grim reaper first and no mission first. There are no demonic ghosts and no reverent souls, I must think for myself first. I need sleep and rest, nothing else, I will openly think about how I can make way for this third eye, to get rid of it. I frowned and stared, my hand still covered because of the sunlight that was still really facing my face. I can already hear some boaborderstside, I don't know what time it is, but I'm still sleepy. I looked up and tilted, I closed my eyes again. I don't have a walk today so it's okay, until this afternoon. The house is close so I can go home at night. "Aren't you awake yet?" I was quickly dilated after hearing this. The smiling face of the Grim reaper appeared in front of me, our faces close together. As in really close, it was as if we were sleeping side by side in bed. "You're still beautiful even when you're awake." Only then did I wake up when he touched my nose, I immediately kicked him off the bed and covered myself. "Damn! What is he doing here?" I whispered to myself. How did he follow me here? Also, has he ever looked at me while sleeping? Haaayyy! Did he see me gaping while asleep? "What? I've been here before, the sun is high. Aren't you going to stand up yet?" This is another question. I closed my eyes tightly and thought of away, to make him think I was asleep. I even adjusted my veil and gained extra strength. I also closed my eyes even though he couldn't see me so that I could feel the acting better. "That's not how you snored before." Once again I was shocked by what he said. Am I snoozing earlier? Will I snore? I stopped and adjusted the snoring, artistic snoring I did. It was a long time and Keir didn't speak anymore, he seemed to believe in my acting. "It's okay here, isn't it?" After hearing this I snored, even more, thinking I was a contraction worker who was too tired at work. "Doesn't your throat hurt from what you're doing?" My snoring got weaker and weaker after he said it until I stopped. He was right, singing what I was doing. I even swallowed because of the dryness of my throat. "Did you know one of the boarders here is dead, at even then the person didn't know it?" I immediately removed the cover of the blanket and sat down. I even straightened my messy hair and looked at Keir who was standing in front of the window but looking at me. "What did you say?" I shrugged and asked him. "I mean, the body is alive but not the soul." Explain it and walk closer to me. "Is there something like that?" I pulled my hair again when it was tangled in the wind, from the electric fan. "Look at this." I looked at the paper he was holding, I looked at him again and took it. "Vazk-what?" My forehead furrowed even more because I couldn't get what was written on it. I looked at Keir who was still standing in front of me. "It's a kind of ritual that if you pronounce it right, your soul will be separated from your body." It is a serious promise. I immediately threw the paper away and held it on both my cheeks. "It's good that I'm stupid to read." I still close my eyes and gasp. Luckily and I didn't know how to read that, Keir didn't even stop me. Maybe he wants to take my soul away so that I can be like him. "Wait, what will happen to that person?" I asked here while still looking up. "His body is alive, but there is no soul. They can talk to people, but it is easier for any spirit to enter that body," he explained. "Does that mean when a bad spirit enters, that person will be bad?" "Yes, to whoever enters that body, it already owns it." After he said this I immediately stood up. "What if her soul returns to her body again?" He took a deep breath, before finally answering my question. "That's where she's going to die." Something seemed to explode inside me the moment I heard that. I slowly sat up in bed and was stunned, does that mean she also had no choice? But who here has a lost soul? "That ritual was too strong, so that's just how fast her soul and body separated. All we had to do was find her, to be warned." I glared at Keir, sighed, and stretched. Why do I seem sad? I said I don't want to help him but why is this? I don't know this feeling, as long as I feel sorry for that person's fate. "How do we know?" I asked him lazily. "You need to know which of them can read that. As soon as you find out you will have her read it again, as soon as she finishes reading it, this paper will suddenly burn. We need to let her know, what's happening." I stood again at this long explanation. "I'll talk to people here who can read Latin." I stood up and hurriedly picked up the paper. I even folded it and tucked it into the pocket of the shorts I was wearing. I didn't fix it, I went downstairs immediately and went to the bathroom. I hung out at the sink first, looking again at the woman in front of me in the mirror. A twinkle before I looked away. I turned on the faucet and rubbed my palm to rinse, after which I wiped my lips, using the hem of my dress. Is there something like this in all the places I'm going to? I ran away, but in the place where I was still hiding, I could meet someone and even worse. But how do I know this? Are there no signs? Where is the Grim reaper now? He was at ease again and his work was handed over to me.
