I’ll be at your house by 7:30, just to make sure that idiot doesn't try anything funny… He said smirking then move from me, I hurry out, my heart might fall from my chest if I keep staying there, I might do something stupid, I blushed badly, as I remember how he touch me and his hand firm on my waist.
Then the fact that he called me pretty, rush into my memory, He thinks I’m pretty he called me pretty, he called me pretty he called me pretty. Those words kept echoing in my head till I got home.
Cameron's POV
Earlier that morning, I was feeling so excited, getting to wake up beside Padgett gave me an amazing morning, I had to enjoy my breakfast with her, it was interesting before those annoying friends of mine, showed up in her house, only for Alex to keep blabbing and that stupid Sutton, is like he is hitting on my creamy.
I know I said I wanted Sutton for her but the truth is, I really don't want him around her anymore and we are at the mall to get her something to wear for the party, now we are all alone in the mall but then I realized that, I want to get something special for her.
Then I excused myself and go back inside the mall, leaving her outside closed to my car, only for me to get a hugged behind me.
Hey Cameron! She said pecking while I turned to her
Hey you… I said hugging her too, trying to sound excited but frankly, I just want to go back to Padgett
I have some wonderful news for you.
Just tell me later, I really want to go to Padgett, she is waiting for me.
Come on Cameron! I just thought you would want to know that your best friend finally has a crush, which means you two would be spending less time together, now you will be devoted to me
Padgett has what now? I said turning back
It’s nothing, I’ll tell you at the party or whenever we see again bye now. She said trying to walk away, I held her hand

Well you see I overheard her telling Emerald, she was in love with someone then I asked who and she confessed it was no other then Newton, isn't that amazing and very sweet. She said grinning

Well I think they make a great couple they compliment each other perfectly she’s lucky to have a guy like Newton and I hope they never stop loving each other… She added, as I stared into thin air suddenly feeling angry for reason I can't tell. I just wanted to avoid Padgett for the rest of the day because I was scared of what I could do if i see her but the truth is, she is waiting for me outside
I know I could never hurt her but I’m afraid I might say harsh things to her simply because I’m mad at her, she promised me that she will not fall In love and she is going to stay away from Newton after the party but it just ended up to be a stupid lie because she already likes him
I try to make a small talk with Cathy, I just want to forget everything about her, I delayed abit, so I could calm down and then I realized that she is still waiting for me, so I decided to make out with Cathy, so I could forget all about her and then I asked her to leave with a cab
After she left, I felt even more mad that I thought of letting out my frustrations, I thought of what to do, I drove Cathy home and went straight home, I took off my shirt and starting hitting the punching bag until I could feel my self sweating and my anger slowly reducing then I heard noises by the door but I simply ignored them till it became more frequent and when I looked towards the door Padgett was standing there looking amused
And that was when it hit me that I am fucking jealous of Newton and the only reason I’m doing this is because I’m might be attracted to Padgett but I am scared of what Padgett will do to me.
Padgett's Pov
After our little encounter at his room, I get home and I am to get ready for the party, I hurriedly freshened up while waiting for Emerald, who said that she is coming to dress me up for the party, I decided to grabbing a snack still waiting for her arrival before I heard the door bell
I am coming… I said getting up to open the door, I pulled the door.
Whoa! You look amazing. I said as I watch how hot she is.

No wait, sit. She said pulling me down, I really hope that I don't look like an idiot, after this.
It's done… She said smiling as I stared at my reflection in the mirror satisfied with my looks, couple with the nice short gown Cameron got for me.
“You look different Padgett. I look at her, I really don't trust the look on the mirror. this different is good. She added as I smiled even more
Are you sure?
Yes! I am sure all the boys will want to have you and Newton might not be able to dance with you. I blushed badly then frown.
And don't worry, I am sure that Cameron will not think twice before kissing you.

Sorry! Let's go, Alex is here to pick me. She said dragging her phone, I look at her. Stop staring, I will tell you everything later.
We both walked out of the room, only to find Cameron already seated with Cathy, Alex and Newton taking a sip of water he was the first to notice me and he kept staring making me feel extremely nervous, he walked towards me, I wasn't wearing my glasses today, Emerald said it wasn't necessary, Cameron was really busy that he didn't notice on time, till we get closer to them, I could see that, Alex had already pulling Emerald into a tight hugged.
Cameron eyes went wild when he look in my direction and he made no effort to hide that fact that he was admiring me.
Since you’re here now we should get going… He said
“Yeah let’s get going. Newton said as his hands moved to my waist while I gasped this time in shock

“Hands off... Cameron interrupt Cathy. Now! He emphasis as Newton had no choice than to slowly removed his hands from my waists as I linked our hands together not caring if Cameron was glaring hard at the both of us right now
