I read out loud with teary eyes just two days that they’ve started dating and he’s already picking her over me tsk. He was right, she is different, I can't think of a day that will come, that he will picked a girl over me, but the day is here and Cathy hasn't even been with him for more than two days and he’s already had dinner with her; kissed her and now he’s taking her to school, I wonder what they did through yesterday that made him forget everything about me… I thought as little tears almost fall from my eyes but I was quick to wipe it off
No Padgett, no more crying you’re not gonna share any more tears for him ever again. You’re only just a friend nothing more, you will be fine. You should look for a cab that would take you to school that is how you could get over him no matter what you’ll stop loving him that’s a promise… I said to myself

By the time I got to school today all eyes were practically on me they must be used to him dropping me off so it was strange that my mommy had dropped me this particular Friday and by first period the news of Cameron and Cathy, the new hot girl in school, had spread like wide fire everyone was talking about the girl who Cameron was smitten over
Outside I pretended like I wasn't affected by the rumors that Cameron has gotten tired of me but inside I was broken and torn apart by him, I avoided him like he was a terrible plague because I was sure I would scream at him for choosing someone else over me we’ve been friends since childhood. Fine, I left for three years but he made me feel like we were good and he is never going to hurt me but it's barely a day they’re dating he has gotten tired of me just like they said, especially those that were there when he made that public announcement.
I could barely talk to him right now I was able to keep all my feelings bottled up all these years but lately it seems like he had open the bottle, he is slowly making me want to scream to the world that I’M IN LOVE WITH HIM

“How can you expect me to keep calm after what he did to you; how dare he? Yes; he’s your best friend I get it but he has no fucking right to treat you like trash. Padgett, I know you love him and you can’t stay mad at him but after finding out what he did, I really hate him. After this if you dare talk to him today; I’ll slap you silly across the face and knock some sense into you and Newton, he seems like a nice guy according to what you said about him but seriously I really don’t think it’s fair to use him to forget about Cameron.
If you want to go out with him because you want to forget about your feelings for Cameron or because he is blackmailing you, you needs to stop it right now, speaking of Cameron, no one is going to stop me for damaging his face that he think it's perfect, I swear he has no right to leave you like that and who thou heck does Cathy think she is, the car has space for more than one person right? So why can't she suggest he pick you first before her? Huh! seriously girlfriend, you’re too naive, you have to learn to get mad at people and set boundaries, you can’t always accept all their shortcomings. You should not think of forgiving him so easily, you better make him work for it or else I’ll make sure you get a really tight slap maybe then your brain would be back to factory reset…. I smiled at her tantrum, she is really a drama doll, I am happy she is here, at least, I could have someone to talk to while my best friend go on MIA.

Fine, I have to go to the principal office, I need to catch up with classes. She said blowing me a kiss before heading to the principal office.
I had free period right now while Emerald had a class same as Newton and Cameron, so I decided to go drop my name at the dancing team. After dropping my name there. I was a bit pressed so I decided to head to the rest room before lunch, I was thinking of having an early lunch, so I could avoid Cameron and his sweetheart, I am sure, he will be there with her.
