Chapter 214 The Great Secret
"Martin, you're the only one here, but you're bullying the security guard? Is it wrong for him to say that you are abandoned? Look at what you're wearing when it's this cold. If people saw or heard you, we'd definitely lose our face!" Mick sneered.
Next to him, the other two were also covering their mouths and laughing.
"How dare you two, laugh at me?" Martin stared blankly at the two young men.

"Yes. Why have you come here?" Martin asked.
"I have a big secret to tell, and since you're from the family, I'll reveal it to you." The old man said.
"Oh? What big secret?" Martin asked.
"I need fifty thousand dollars before I reveal it to you. I promise that my secret is absolutely worth paying for." The old man persuaded.
"Well, if you say it's worth fifty thousand dollars, then I'll get it for you." Martin said.
The old farmer looked around and pulled Martin to the corner next to him and whispered, "Young man, I found a gold mine under Moon Mountain!"
"Gold mine?" Martin was shocked.
"Yes, believe me, this stone was dug out of the mountain. " He then took a stone out of his pocket, and there were some golden particles hidden in it.
"Lone Wolf, come and see this!"
Martin handed the stone to Lone Wolf.
After Lone Wolf took the stone and examined it, he said, "Martin, the gold particles in this stone are really melted gold."
"Oh, so, under Moon Mountain, there is there really gold hidden?" Martin was in shock.
"It's possible that there's a lot of gold in it. We can't be certain, but it's possible there's a big gold mine down there. It could also probably be very little to not have a mining value at all." Lone Wolf said.
Martin nodded and handed the stone back to the farmer.
"Old Bob, why made you think to tell the James family the news?" Martin asked him.
"Because they have money. A lowly person like me can't mine and refine it myself, so it's better to sell the news to them for some money, and that's the most practical thing." The farmer said with a smile.
"Where did you find the exact location of that stone?" Martin asked.
After all, Moon Mountain was so big, so naturally, he needed to know the exact location.

"No problem. I'll give you a spending ticket worth a hundred thousand." Martin said.
The farmer shook his head hurriedly "Oh, no I don't want checks, I want cash."
"Well, Lone Wolf, you got to get me a hundred thousand bucks." Martin said to Lone Wolf.
After all, Martin didn't carry so much cash with him.
About ten minutes later, Lone Wolf took a hundred thousand dollars in cash with him.
"It's a hundred thousand, double of what you asked for, and I need you not only to say a specific address but also to keep it a secret." Martin gave him the money.
"No problem! Gentleman, you are good, I swear absolutely confidential."
The farmer was overjoyed to receive the money, and he couldn't stop smiling from ear to ear.
For him, a hundred thousand bucks was definitely a huge sum of money.
"Master, I can't say the specific address of the mountain, so I'll take you there myself." The farmer said.
"Okay!" Martin nodded.
Immediately after that, Martin turned to Lone Wolf and said, "Lone Wolf, you go with him. By the way, don't forget to inspect meticulously."
Martin thought that it could be a chance to make more money. If it's a big gold mine, he could definitely make a fortune out of it.
"No problem, Martin. But if I leave, your safety..." Lone Wolf was a little worried.
The last time Lone Wolf wasn't around Martin, he was nearly killed by Horace.
"Don't worry about me. Steven sent me a box of bullets yesterday to load my gun, so there should be no problem." Martin said.

Martin entered the grand villa through the gate and walked across the yard before arriving at the main building.
By the door of the main building, a housekeeper was standing there, welcoming the children of the James family.
The old housekeeper had white hair and has followed Parker for decades.
"Master Martin, why didn't your mother come?" The old housekeeper asked.
"My mother is recovering from a disease and it's not convenient for her to come." He said.
"Well, Mr. James, please feel free to look for me should you have questions." The old housekeeper was polite to Martin.
"Thank you." He smiled back and walked into the villa.
The young masters of the James family were on the first floor while their parents were upstairs.
Martin glanced at a total of more than a dozen young men and women on the first floor. They're all part of the James family, either blood-related or tied by marriage.
Parker had three sons and two daughters.
Adding up his children's children and their grandchildren, of course, there were more than a dozen.
When Martin entered the house, he found that they were having a good time getting together.
He naturally couldn't have chatted with them, so he found a place to sit down.
"Yeah, isn't that Martin? Didn't his father sever ties with the family long ago? Why is he suddenly here?"

"Inviting him was something that the old man requested." Mick said.

"He came here just to get some inheritance from family. He broke off his relationship with the family, what else could be the reason of his sudden change of heart now?"
Mick said the words loud and clear, so that Martin, not far away, could hear him clearly. It was obvious that he did it on purpose.
Martin frowned slightly.
Had it not been his mother's advice, Martin wouldn't have come.
Because Martin didn't like the James family. He only had some hate for each one of them.
When Martin's father left the family, he had the worst trouble with his brother, which was Mick's father.

Her name was Renee James and she was Bob's daughter.
"Renee, it's you." Martin smiled at her.
If Martin liked anyone among his relatives, it's Renee.
When Martin didn't have the money to pay his tuition, his mother took him to ask for help from their relatives, but no one wanted to help. It was only Renee, who secretly looked for Martin and his mother, who gave them ten thousand dollars.
Ten thousand might not be much for Renee, but for Martin at the time, it was the life-saving money that helped them get through the crisis.
It's been a few years, but Martin still remembered it deeply.
