Transmigrated as An Extra In My Novel's First Draft Chapter 15

The trip to Four Axis was relatively simple, as it had its own train station, which I could easily ride to. But...gazing at the staff member before me, I couldn’t help but sigh and ask. Forcefully pushing a small smartwatch into my open palm, she repeated irritably, while gesturing for the next student in the long line to come forward. "Report to Class Oak. You can use the map to your right to find it." Unfortunately, I didn’t need the map. Was I supposed to be happy that I had been placed in the class with the protagonist and other main characters, or not? On one hand, I’d stay close to the plot line, allowing me to catch the different events and help the main cast in case of an emergency. But...alternatively, I would be caught in the crossfire of all the rivalries and schemes occurring. Under the angry gaze of the woman before me, I strapped the smartwatch around my wrist and moved to the side. Ironically, the next student in line was also in my class. With long, snow-white hair that stretched all the way down to her waist and matching white eyes, she walked toward the now much happier staff member with an emotionless expression. I had noticed her behind me from the start, but refrained from staring, just like everyone else. Stumbling over her words with trembling hands, the employee handed the girl a badge and rapidly said. "W-welcome to Four-Axis Academy, Lady Carissa. You are in the Oak Class; I can escort you to it n-" Her expression remaining neutral, Carissa simply grabbed the smartwatch and said before walking away. She was just the product of another unnecessarily tragic backstory I had created. Despite being the young pride of the archery world and her father being the master of the Humans’ current strongest guild, Keepers of Elysium, she had been reduced to an emotionless puppet since the death of her mother. Of course, the protagonist I had created would break that facade of hers soon enough, transforming her into a heroine. But, for now, she was simply a stoic and calm girl with an incredible talent for the bow. Now, following behind her, was the reason I didn’t dare stare. With golden-yellow pupils and pitch-black hair, cut perfectly into a middle part, the next boy walked up to the desk to retrieve his smartwatch. Exuding an aura of arrogance, with perfect posture and an overconfident grin, he didn’t even bother to say anything. Every girl arriving from the train instantly gazed at him, some even pulling out their tablets and taking pictures or messaging others. "a-ah, Sir Magnus, you are in the Oak c-" Scoffing, Magnus simply grabbed the smartwatch and left, leaving the open-mouthed attendant in shock. The cliche protagonist rival. Not belonging to any guild, Magnus’s fame simply derived from his incredible strength with the curved daggers, and more importantly, from his grandfather. When the demons had first attacked hundreds of years ago, there had been one man to rise above the rest, slaying Archdemon after Archdemon. As the world’s first S+ rank, Maximus was considered to be humanity’s savior during the dark times. And, just like his grandson, Maximus had his own rival, Theron. Thɪs chapter is updated by novel·fıre·net Unfortunately, Maximus’s time would come to an end during his infamous fight with the Demon King, as after dealing massive damage and giving Theron the chance to deal the final blow, he would pass away. Magnus and Carissa, being of the same prestige, were childhood friends who had met countless times, and even if they did not currently share feelings of love, Magnus would scare off anyone who attempted to seduce or stare at Carissa. As the attendant stood there in shock, having witnessed two of the World’s greatest talents within a few seconds, I finally headed to my classroom. Within a few minutes, I found myself before the open sliding door of the classroom. After taking a deep breath, receiving some weird stares for waiting outside, I strolled inside, inwardly thinking of which seat to choose. The classroom was styled like a college lecture hall, with three elevated rows, split into three sections by staircases, in front of a stage and a massive whiteboard. However, before I could find a seat, my gaze slowly drifted toward the two girls sitting in the middle section of the third and farthest row. Unlike with Carissa, the boys in the class didn’t even try to hide their glances, with each girl ignoring them while looking at their tablets. Suddenly, though, the girl with short amber-brown hair, styled into a bob-cut, glanced upward, her jade-green eyes sparkling. Excitely patting the seat next to her, she screamed out. "Carissa, is that you? Sit, here!" That was Haerin for you. She was the one character I had spared from a terrible backstory, out of the main cast. With her dad as the leader of the second-highest rank guild in the Human Realm, Flamebearers ofHelios, and her mother being a powerful hero, she had an extremely privileged and rich upbringing. Nodding her head and leaving her childhood friend behind without a hint of remorse, Carissa walked up the stairs and took the last seat in the third middle row, to the right of Haerin. As for the other girl, sitting to the left of Haerin, she simply glanced up before returning to scribbling on her tablet. Serena, the World’s youngest genius. To be considered a genius in this world, it wasn’t as simple as an IQ test. One had to publish over ten verified works containing new and useful information and be accepted by a committee, through a long and arduous process with countless presentations and debates. Or they create one work that shocks the entire scientific world. Of course, Serena had done the latter, publishing and testing a thesis that showed mana, despite being invisible to humans, could be captured and used for medical treatment. With long purple hair, tied into a messy ponytail, and matching purple eyes, she was just like Carissa in the way she showed no emotion...except for one.
